The purpose of this study is knowing the effect of leverage, profitability, capital intensity, and earnings management on tax avoidance. The period of this study is 5 (five) years, from 2013 to 2017. The data used are secondary data. The population is mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017 with a total of 47 companies. The sample selection is determined by the purpose sampling method and the samples used are 11 companies with a total of 55 data. The data analysis method is multiple linear regression. The results show that profitability, capital intensity, and earnings management negatively affect tax avoidance. Leverage has no effect on tax avoidance.

In general, entrepreneurs always maximize profits. One way to maximize profits by avoiding paying taxes. Tax avoidance is a means of exploiting legal loopholes so that employers do not pay tax or pay tax but are very small. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, size, leverage, audit committee, independent commissioners and company age on tax avoidance. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method, so as many as 30 property and real estate companies are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2018. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The result of this study indicate that the variable profitability, audit committee, independent commissioner has no effect on tax avoidance. While the variable size, leverage, and age of the company affect the tax avoidance.

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and leverage on environmental disclosure of companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual reports during 2016-2018 accessed on www.idx.co.id. The population in this study is 641 companies and the samples are 48 companies selected using the Purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The results show that profitability affect environmental disclosure and leverage affect negative environmental disclosure.

<p class="Style1"><strong><em>The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that impact the public companies' </em></strong><strong><em>enviromental disclosure and also to analyze the impact of corporate (company's size, age, </em></strong><strong><em>ROA and earnings management) on coprporate disclosure (mandatory and voluntary). Data </em></strong><strong><em>are obtained from 60 companies, which are listed on Jakarta Stock Exchange, and </em></strong><strong><em>selected based on the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method is used the </em></strong><strong><em>path analysis. The result of this research show that on the significant rate of 5%, the </em></strong><strong><em>company's size, ROA, earnings management and </em></strong><em>corporate </em><strong><em>disclosure have a significant </em></strong><strong><em>effect </em></strong>to <strong><em>environmental disclosure. While for the company's age and financial leverage </em></strong><strong><em>have no significant effect to the environmental disclosure.</em></strong></p><p class="Style1"><strong><em>Keywords: Enviromental disclosure, company's size, company's age, ROA and coprporate disclosure.</em></strong></p>

This research was conducted to determine the effect of profitability, institutional ownership and company age on integrated reporting. Type of research is quantitative with multiple linear regression data analysis techniques using the SPSS application. The data tested is secondary data. The population of this study is mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the period 2016-2018. The sample uses a purposive sampling method which amounts to 48 samples. The results of this study indicate that first, profitability and institutional ownership have no effect on integrated reporting. Second, the age of the company affects the integrated reporting. Third, simultaneous profitability, institutional ownership and age of the company affect the integrated reporting.

This research aims to determine the influence of audit fee, audit tenure, and audit reputation on audit quality. This type of research is causative research. The population and sample in this research are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2017. The sample selection in this research used a purposive sampling method. Data type is secondary data. Data collection is done by collecting documentation data of financial statements of companies listed on the Stock Exchange for the 2015-2017. The data analysis method used is logistic regression analysis, with audit quality as the dependent variable and audit fee, audit tenure, and audit reputation as independent variables. The results of the research concluded that audit fee, audit tenure, and audit reputation does not have a significant relationship with audit quality.

Objective – This research aimed to analyze: 1) The influence of institutional ownership to earnings management, 2) The influence of leverage to earnings management dan 3) The influence of audit committee. Design/methodology – Population in this research is entire companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2017. Election of the sample with the purposive sampling method and is obtained by the amount of sample counted 194 company. This research used secondary data. The analysis used is multiple linear regression and t-test, to seek the influence of institutional ownership, leverage, and audit committee to earnings management. Results – Result of examination indicate that: 1) Institutional ownership had a significant effect to earnings management, with direction is positive 2) Leverage had a significant effect to earnings management, with direction is negative and 3) audit committee had a significant effect to earnings management, with direction is positive.

This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, sales growth, profitability and leverage on stock returns in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method. The number of companies sampled in this study are 11 Food And Beverage companies listed on the IDX in the 2015-2019 period. The data used is secondary data. The data analysis method used in this study is Eviews 9. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of company size on stock returns in Manufacturing companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period. There is an effect of Sales Growth (Growth) on Stock Returns in Food and Beverage Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period. Profitability affects stock returns in Food and Beverage Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period. Leverage has an effect on Stock Returns in Food and Beverage Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2019 period.

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of profitability, size, leverage, and capital intensity either partially or simultaneously on tax avoidance in food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2014-2016 period. Methodology: The sampling method used purposive sampling with 195 data processed. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression by using the SPSS program. Main Findings: The results proved that, partially, profitability did not influence tax avoidance, size has influenced tax avoidance, leverage gave no influence on tax avoidance, and capital intensity provided no effect on tax avoidance. Applications of this study: The population of this study was food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The total population taken was 19 companies. The sampling employed purposive sampling. Novelty/Originality of this study: The results proved that, partially, profitability did not influence tax avoidance, size has influenced tax avoidance, leverage gave no influence on tax avoidance, and capital intensity provided no effect on tax avoidance. While simultaneously, profitability, size, leverage, and capital intensity affected the tax avoidance in food and beverage companies listed on BEI.

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of profitability, firm size, asset structure, and managerial ownership on debt policy. The method in this research is quantitative. The sample selection used a purposive sampling method so as to obtain a sample of 21 property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2019. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that profitability and firm size had an effect on debt policy. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, thin capitalization, capital intensity, and earnings management on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2010-2020 period. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The research sample used was 34 companies from 184 companies. The sample return method used is the selection of samples for research from the research population by fulfilling several predetermined criteria (purposive sampling). The data type used is secondary data, and the data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression test using Eviews 9 software. The proxy used for tax avoidance is the book-tax difference (BTD). The results of this study indicate that liquidity and earnings management have a positive and significant effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, thin capitalization and capital intensity do not affect tax avoidance. Keywords: Tax Avoidance, Liquidity, Thin Capitalization, Capital Intensity, Earnings Management.
