This research is useful to discuss the use of information and communication technology in Arabic learning in Islamic University by using the literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources in this research are research literature and theory books. This study aims to obtain written information related to the use of information and communication technology as a media for Arabic learning in Islamic University. In addition to answering questions about the media that can be used in Arabic learning as an effort by Islamic Universities to make Arabic easy to understand, to know, to practice and like students in their learning. The researcher concludes that with advances in information and communication technology, Arabic lecturers must be able to develop effective Arabic learning models in an Islamic university, and use appropriate methods to realize learning objectives and use media that are compatible with learning methods that are accordance with information and communication technology advancement. information. The development of technology and communication provide great potential to change the way students learn and obtain information. Various learning media that can be used for effective Arabic learning are computer, internet, television, and Arabic e-learning. The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is progressing very rapidly. Due to the strong era of globalization where computers and the dynamic internet become facilities that have dominated various life activities, so educational activities also require the availability of these facilities. Google Translate becomes one of the translation machines that can be used by academics in translating literature written in foreign languages. Google Translate is one of the media that can make it easier for someone to translate text from various languages into the desired language. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach with this literature study method aimed at describing the process of translating foreign language texts and pronunciation into appropriate Indonesian. The media can be used to translate text, both by word, phrase, clause, sentence, and even discourse. However, it is often found errors and irregularities in the translation of the entered text. The results of this study are that academics are greatly helped by the existence of the Google Translate application as a learning medium. Despite the lack of this application, learning academics still have a positive perception of their use. They believe that the results of the translation will remain accurate as long as they can match the context.

The purpose of this paper was to examine the repertoire of ideas for curriculum development by utilizing information and communication technology in order to provide a breakthrough on the dynamics and complexity of curriculum development practices. Results of the study showed. First, the management of the curriculum development process that includes activities to share ideas, argument, contributedscientific papers, give feedback, provide feedback, the rationality of the policy decision makers, data processing, how the curriculum management, and results of develop ment can utilize information and communication technologies. Second, to take advantage of information technology and communication in curriculum development has some added value, such as easy in terms of faster information obtained, the cost in the sense that it does not require huge resources, broad reach in the sense that everyone can get involved, efficient and effective way to share, and provide a forum of freedom of speech which is at once loose the bonds of values or certain cultural norms. Third, the idea of developing a curriculum by utilizing information and communication technology as well as encouraging developers literate not only technology, but also able to understand, perceive, and apply power to the significance of the technology. Fourth, curriculum development by utilizing information and communication technology is considered a breakthrough way of working in this digital era AbstrakTujuan dari penulisan ini adalah ingin mengkaji khasanah gagasan pengembangan kurikulum dengan memanfaat kan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang diharapkan dapat memberi terobosan mengenai dinamika dan kompleksitas praktik (praxis) pengembangan kurikulum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan. Pertama, pengelolaan proses pengembangan kurikulum yang mencakup aktivitas berbagi gagasan, adu argumen, berkontribusi karya tulis ilmiah, memberi tanggapan, memberi masukan, rasionalitas kebijakan pembuat keputusan, pengolahan data, cara kerja manajemen kurikulum, dan hasil dari pengembangan dapat mendayagunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Kedua, dengan memanfatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pengembangan kurikulum memiliki beberapa nilai tambah, seperti mudah dalam arti informasi lebih cepat diperoleh, murah dalam arti tidak memerlukan sumber daya yang besar, jangkauan luas dalam arti semua orang dapat terlibat, efisien dan efektif untuk berbagi, dan memberi wadah kebebasan berpendapat yang sekaligus lepas dari ikatan nilai-nilai atau norma budaya tertentu. Ketiga, gagasan pengembangan kurikulum dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sekaligus mendorong pengembang bukan hanya literate teknologi, tetapi juga mampu memahami, mempersepsi, dan mengaplikasikan arti penting daya guna teknologi. AbstractInformation and Communication Technology advancement has made the method of practice across different industries and businesses record fundamental changes in various dimensions and levels. The construction industry is determined to measure up with other industries in this and has since embraced the use of computer software to perform most, if not all of its activities. It is generally known that this software is not cheap and they require special skill to use. This research study is aimed at developing a computerised template for material and labour schedules for some selected items of work in construction using Microsoft Excel. This is an inexpensive way of estimating to save cost while eliminating the traditional method. The study adopted a mixed research method that involved observation of labourers on-site and validation through a questionnaire survey. The personal observation was carried out and labour outputs were recorded which was used together with material constants in developing the bill of material and labour template. The template was validated by practising Quantity Surveyors for ongoing projects and an average of 92% accuracy was recorded. It was concluded that the template can enhance the accuracy of Quantity Surveyors’ estimate of materials and labour for construction projects.

<p>Learning through the media of information and communication technology is expected for children to be intelligent, critical, and creative, and able to solve problems relating to everyday life. Awareness of teachers to improve the quality of education through the medium of ICT is the integration in the achievement of life skills as the main orientation of educational purposes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique, with 28 research subjects of certified educators in elementary school Singosari. The result showed that teachers already know about the media ICT learning through workshops conducted by the Ministry of Education, Books, Training and seminars as well as through training when taking part the teacher certification.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Teachers with Certified Educators, Media ICT, Learning SD</p>

This research aims to develop weblog-based learning media on information and communication technology (ICT) guidance and reveal its validity and practicality. This type of research is a research development with a 4-D (Four D) model , namely Define, Design, Develop , and Disseminate . The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire of validity and practicality. weblog based learning media on information and communication technology guidance is validated by 2 experts, namely 1 material expert and 1 media expert . Practicality weblog-based learning media on information and communication technology guidance is carried out on teachers and students of SM A N 1 Tujuh Koto Sungai Sarik . The results of the validity test show that weblog-based learning media on information and communication technology guidance is included in the valid category. Based on practicality test by the teacher and students of SM A N 1 Tujuh Koto Sungai Sarik shows that the media has a very high practicality category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the weblog-based learning media on information and communication technology guidance is considered valid and practical .

The issue of sentiment towards the Chinese ethnic in Indonesia often creates social conflict that threatens the integration of the nation. Some of the riots that put the Chinese ethnic into the target of mass violence show that this sentiment is not merely latent, but often a tragedy. The development of information and communication technology contributes to strengthen the conflict or otherwise reduce it. One of the media that often become a channel of inter-ethnic conflict is Youtube. Through this medium can be reviewed how the message is communicated so it could be known as hidden problems. This article examines a video “Jangan Panggil Aku Cina” on Youtube who gets a very wide YouTuber visit and gets comments from the pro and contra. This study uses the Intertextuality Analysis method in visual semiotics from Julio Kristiva. The results show that text permutations tend to be based on stereotypical views and prejudices that place Chinese ethnic as a bad ethnic. Among them are not struggling in independence, tend to be oriented to ancestral lands, tend to be exclusive, and have an agenda to control Indonesia as Chinese ethnic dominates Singapore and get rid of Malays ethnic. The permutation of the text framed by the prejudice results in a reductive text, as it ignores the facts of Chinese ethnic service in the economic, political, media and literary fields.   Persoalan sentiment terhadap etnis Cina di Indonesia kerap menimbulkan konflik sosial yang mengancam integrasi bangsa. Beberapa kerusuhan yang menempatkan etnis Cina sebagai sasaran amuk massa menunjukkan bahwa sentiment ini tidak sekedar bersifat laten (tersembunyi), melainkan kerap menjadi tragedi. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi turut memberi andil dalam menguatkan konflik atau sebaliknya meredamnya. Salah satu media yang kerap menjadi saluran konflik antar etnis ini adalah Youtube. Melalui media ini dapat ditelaah bagaimana pesan dikomunikasikan sehingga dapat diketahui masalah masalah yang tersembunyi. Artikel ini mengkaji sebuah video berjudul “Jangan Panggil Aku Cina” di Youtube yang mendapat kunjungan youtuber sangat luas dan mendapat komentar dari yang pro dan kontra. Kajian ini menggunakan metode analisis intertekstualitas dalam semiotika visual dari Julia Kristeva, yang menekankan pada model analisis permutasi teks. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa permutasi teks cenderung dilandasi pandangan stereotip dan prasangka sehingga menempatkan etnis Cina sebagai etnis yang buruk. Di antaranya tidak ikut berjuang dalam kemerdekaan, cenderung berorientasi ke negeri leluhur, cenderung ekslusif, dan punya agenda akan menguasai Indonesia seperti etnis Cina menguasai Singapura dan menyingkirkan etnis Melayu. Permutasi teks yang dibingkai prasangka tersebut menghasilkan teks teks yang bersifat reduktif, karena mengabaikan fakta fakta jasa etnis Cina di bidang ekonomi, politik, media, dan sastra.

<p><span style="color: #242021;"><span class="fontstyle0">Evaluation in the collection development aims to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the collection so that the collection provided in accordance with user needs. This study aims to reveal the evaluation activities conducted at UPT Dian Nuswantoro University Library Semarang. The research method used, that is descriptive-qualitative, with data collection method with literature study, interview and observation. The results show<br />that evaluation process involve librarians, specialist subjects, lecturers and faculty staff. Collection evaluation is done by librarian to make list of book collection to be evaluated, then given to lecturer for ACC and chosen to be evaluated and weeded. Recommendations for this library are time management and optimization of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the evaluation process in the development of collections.<br /></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #242021;"><span class="fontstyle2"><strong>Keywords</strong></span><span class="fontstyle0">: collection, evaluation, collection development, librarian.</span></span></p>
