The study aimed at identifying the effect of some special skill exercises on some bio- kinematical variables and the accuracy of low and high jump setting in volleyball. The subjects were (29) youth setters from Baghdad clubs only (5) setters were selected from Al Senaa, Al Shorta, Al Huria, Al Selaik, and the specialized schools for gifted in Baghdad. The researchers used the experimental method and the main experiment included taping the subject with (240 pix/se) camera to extract bio- kinematical variables. The special skill exercises were applied for two months followed by posttests. The data was analyzed using (Kinovea) then statistically using SPSS. The results showed significance in favor of posttests. Finally the recommended the necessity of using special skill exercises due to their great effect on setting kinematics that develops the motor pathways of setting.

This chapter depicts and unpacks the nature of production and work, the special skill profile that made paper mills distinct if not unique, and how over time owners and workers forged a mutually acceptable paternalism. It describes paternalism as the glue that made Maine's paper mills both successful businesses and durable communities during the paper industry's halcyon years from the late nineteenth century through the 1970s. It also looks at the situation in the S. D. Warren Company to understand the critical role of skill and the paradox of suffering and success that marked the paper workers' lives. The chapter highlights that paper mill work delivered high wages and benefits, and offered remarkable jobs and economic security with few parallels in Maine's generally lower-wage, blue-collar sectors. It reveals how the lives of paper mill workers demonstrate the crucial place of skills, craft pride, and membership in a high-status industrial community.

AbstractIn arteriovenous malformation (AVM) surgery, vessel structures should be well evaluated with angiography. However, with conventional angiography, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish each feeder and its feeding territory in the nidus. In this study, we used two software systems to create three-dimensional (3D) fusion images using multiple imaging modalities and evaluated their clinical use. In the AVM patient, data were obtained from 3D rotational angiography, rotational venography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and superimposed into 3D fusion images using imaging software (iPLAN and Avizo). Virtual surgical fields that were quite similar to the real ones were also created with these software programs. Compared with fusion images by iPLAN, those by Avizo have higher resolution and can demarcate not only each feeder but also its supplying territory in the nidus with different colors. In conclusion, 3D fusion images in AVM surgery are helpful for simulation, even though it takes time and requires special skill to create them.

AbstractInformation and Communication Technology advancement has made the method of practice across different industries and businesses record fundamental changes in various dimensions and levels. The construction industry is determined to measure up with other industries in this and has since embraced the use of computer software to perform most, if not all of its activities. It is generally known that this software is not cheap and they require special skill to use. This research study is aimed at developing a computerised template for material and labour schedules for some selected items of work in construction using Microsoft Excel. This is an inexpensive way of estimating to save cost while eliminating the traditional method. The study adopted a mixed research method that involved observation of labourers on-site and validation through a questionnaire survey. The personal observation was carried out and labour outputs were recorded which was used together with material constants in developing the bill of material and labour template. The template was validated by practising Quantity Surveyors for ongoing projects and an average of 92% accuracy was recorded. It was concluded that the template can enhance the accuracy of Quantity Surveyors’ estimate of materials and labour for construction projects.

Abstract This chapter tells about Brad, the consultant who has a special personality enabling him to react positively with most people including his clients. This is a special skill and is very useful, a skill that can be developed and improved by most people given some work. To understand how to improve requires understanding the reasons for the special personality. Everyone's personality is dependent on their genetic makeup (genotype) obtained from their parents and on how this interacts with the environment they experience right from when a baby. Parents clearly have a large influence on the early environment, but so do all other interactions over life. Everyone's overall psyche at any time is referred to as their phenotype - that is, the result of their genotype and environment. This psyche also impacts on how anyone learns and consequently influences what they have learnt about people skills. This chapter also reports that most of the farmers being invited to join the experimental groups had already been through the earlier programme to improve their decision intuition so were familiar with the process and questionnaires used in this new programme, designed to remove their decision biases and change their personalities to be more akin to an optimal phenotype suitable for management work. Increasingly, particularly with respect to the environment, farmers are facing more and more rules and regulations they must comply with. The same goes for labour regulations, and also health and safety.

On the example of naming Pugachev in various documents of the 1770s, where he played various social roles — the interrogated, imposter tzar, a person under investigation, the accused — the article examines the dependence of the form of officially naming a person based on his position in society, the type of document and the place of the name in the documentary text. Official anthroponyms of the 18th century began to oppose the forms of naming a person in unofficial communication. This process demonstrates the gradual alienation of official communication from live speech. The correct naming of a person in different types of documents required special skill and training and was a sign of inclusion in the official communication. The article analyzes changes in naming Pugachev in documents related to different stages of Pugachev’s Rebellion, and it is concluded that gradually in the documents of rebels, when choosing the forms of his naming, the number of deviations from the established official forms of anthroponyms decreases. The analysis of the documents related to the investigation of Pugachev reveals a number of serious deviations in his naming, which indicated that the authorities considered Pugachev’s crime as one of particular severity and they deprived Pugachev of the usual forms of official naming. The investigation documents usually used the contemptuous diminutive form of the name Emel’ka or the evaluative noun villain.
