The challenge for education that can not be denied is globalization and technological progress on the one hand. On the other hand education is also faced with the increasing variety of life pressures. Paul G. Stoltz invented a new type of intelligence theory from the psychological paradigm, namely Adversity Quotient (ability to face difficulties), that is, a person's ability to observe difficulties and cultivate those difficulties with his or her intelligence so that it becomes a challenge to be solved. The Qur'an is a holy book filled with educational values. Among the content of the Qur'an are stories. One of the stories in the Qur'an is the story of Prophet Moses that is found in many surahs in the Qur'an. In the story of Prophet Moses there are many extraordinary values and lessons especially in how to deal with adversity. From the results of research, revealed the following important matters. The Adversity Quotient's educational value scontained in the story of Prophet Musa in the Qur'an are the values of patience, the value of optimism and unyielding, the value of the great soul and the value of jihad.

This chapter analyses the effects of social media on political communication and the role they play in government-citizen relations by focusing on the Twitter ban phenomenon in Turkey in March 2014. The chapter asks the reasons of government intervention in social media, particularly Twitter. It argues that Twitter makes, on the one hand, a significant contribution to the evolution of political participation as it diversifies the process and methods of political communication. On the other hand, it introduces a new type of security dilemma which encourages governments to consider taking measures against social media to protect their authority.

When talking about children’s abilities, they indeed cannot be separated from their educational or training background. Moreover, he has entered the working age that must have productivity in his work, especially at this time, where the era has entered the industrial revolution 4.0. The industrial revolution 4.0 is marked by the development of digitalization in various lines of life. On the one hand, the industrial revolution 4.0 had many positive impacts. However, on the other hand, as the McKinsey Global Institute states that as a result of the 4.0 industrial revolution in the next five years, there will be 52.6 million jobs that will decline and even disappear. This certainly will be a challenge for the centennial generation (children born from 1996-2011) at this time, which they have to survive with the existing conditions and situations. This paper will discuss several factors that describe and address issues such as what is meant by the centennial generation, literacy, and the urgency of literacy education for the centennial generation in the digital age. According to authors, thi is essential to discuss, given the increasingly rapid development and technological progress resulting in the loss of much work.

The research of communication is one of the topics of modern philosophy. This is justified from the point of view of the constant dynamics of communication systems, language development and technological progress. In this article, the author aims to move from a categorical consideration of communication to establishing links between thinking and communication in activities where consumer projects act as the latter. On the one hand, this approach to the problem of communication is largely inspired by the research of the Moscow Methodological Circle (MMC). On the other hand, the study attempts to rethink and complicate the original schematization for synthesizing new knowledge. The author suggests a three-step system where the positioning of communication subjects is set by specific functions and connections. Thanks to this, communication participants can move to the level of objectification of values, which allows them to get away from the classic dilemma of subjectification of what is understood in the act of communication.

Currently more and more large, vertically integrated firms are being transformed into flatter organisations that encompass decentralised decision structures. The author argues that an understanding of this new type of firm, called market-like firm, is missing from the theory of the firm (transaction cost theory), for two reasons. On the one hand, the Williamsonian framework of governance structures does not explore the distinguishing mark of the firm, and, on the other hand, it cannot explain the variety of firms. To overcome these shortcomings, the author proposes the extension of the Williamsonian framework with the concept of “firm-ness” that is based on the distinction between ideal-type and real-type.

The growing lack of housing supply includes the risk that a new type of substandard housing emerges in Germany. The decrease of flats’ size and quality as well as architectural standard is a threatening way to build „affordable“ future homes for those, who fall through the cracks of the current housing market. Due to the limited welfare states engagement on the one hand and private capitalist activity on the other hand, we are currently witnessing a trend to develop second class houses, mostly for students and refugee accomodations. If the housing supply crisis will not be solved, this new substandard will extend to larger parts of the housing market.

The main objective of this study was to observe the extent to which the practice of collective singing in children’s and youth choirs offers a way of teaching values. The main working tool used was a questionnaire that was completed by the choir conductors and singers of the different choirs surveyed. The purpose of the questionnaire was to assess if choral singing can be a space for working on and developing values, and if these values lead to improvements in the overall education of the person. On the one hand, choir conductors considered respect to be the most important value for a choral group and friendship the most valuable aspect for singers. This view was not shared by the singers, who considered friendship to be less important. On the other hand, they agreed on the influence of respect and communication and that spontaneity is undervalued.

The androgyne, whether as a symbol, a concept, or a bodily reality, appears to be employed in different and sometimes apparently contradictory ways within gnostic discourse. On the one hand, the heavenly father himself is an androgyne (Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit 51–52); the divine Barbelo, herself, is a “mother-father” and a “thrice-named androgyne” (Apocryphon of John 12.1–8), and Adam can only long for his ungendered days, when s/he was higher than the creator god (Apocalypse of Adam 64.5–65.25). On the other hand, we also learn that Ialdabaoth himself, that same evil material creator, the most abject entity in gnostic myth, is also an androgyne (Hypostasis of the Archons 94.8–19). This apparent discrepancy serves as the focal point of this paper, which aims to explain the complex, albeit largely consistent, use of the concept of the queered gender in gnostic myth. By reading this myth according to its internal order of events, I attempt to show that gnostic androgyny, far from being a ratification of Greco-Roman discourse (as has been sometimes suggested), is actually a subversion of this very discourse, constructed so as to reify the gnostic disapproval of an important Greco-Roman cultural premise — one that has been aptly defined by David Halperin as “the ancients’ deeply felt and somewhat anxiously defended sense of congruence between a person’s gender, sexual practices, and social identity” (1990:23).

Recently, a new type of symmetry for three-qubit quantum states was introduced, the so-called Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) symmetry. It includes the operations which leave the three-qubit standard GHZ state unchanged. This symmetry is powerful as it yields families of mixed states that are, on the one hand, complex enough from the physics point of view and, on the other hand, simple enough mathematically so that their properties can be characterized analytically. We show that by using the properties of GHZ-symmetric states it is straightforward to derive optimal witnesses for detecting class-specific entanglement in arbitrary three-qubit states.

I argue that bureaucracies, as described by Max Weber, have essential characteristics that clash with basic educational values. On the one hand, bureaucracies, because of their divisions of labor, inevitably narrow all those who participate. Bureaucracies also, because of the need for impartiality, inevitably dehumanize all who participate. On the other hand, education aims to broaden and humanize those who participate in it. This tension between bureaucracy and education makes bureaucracy an unsuitable mechanism for delivering an education. Bureaucracies are often the best ways to accomplish large tasks involving many people; however, the task of educating all humanity is not one of those tasks. Problems in education can only be exacerbated by “fixing” the bureaucracy, because efficiency, the greatest bureaucratic virtue, is harmful to education. While I offer no solution, I share some thoughts about how a humanizing, broadening, and suitably inefficient education might look.

Electronic services are an expanding field as long as the human being employs the machine and technology to serve it. Currently, during the technological revolution, electronic services expand and diversify with the variety and variety of needs. Electronic public services are not easy to define and determine. Electronic-Judiciary and, in particular, electronic certification is one of the most important services that must be available and supported in smart communities, in both developed and developing countries alike. E-Judiciary is one of the most important modern fields in the field of smart societies. Electronic certification is one of the fundamental applications in the field of E-Judiciary. Therefore, by using electronic certification, the data will be more secure and accurate than the old way (traditional way). Moreover, electronic certification reduces the transection time, effort and cost on the one hand and tries to develop the services provided in light of the continuous technological progress from the other hand.
