scholarly journals Stealthy Monitoring and Control of Vehicle Safety System

In recent times, traffic rules are more often violated by the drivers. And, also driving at high speed needs to be controlled. So, stealthy monitoring and control of the vehicle is required. Sometimes it is not possible to see the boards and traffic symbols kept alongside of the road. The main objective of this paper is to design and develop an efficient system that can effectively detect speed violations on the road using RF technology. The proposed system gives an alert to the driver through LCD and voice boards. In the proposed system, if over speeding vehicles don’t get controlled manually, then the system turns ON and will get controlled automatically and detect any vehicle opposite to, utilizing the vehicle on-board unit. The challenges to overcome include GSM-based Accident/Panic alert using ARDUINO mega.

Starting from the fact that man is a social being and the reality that teen, street child, living among people belonging to the same social environment, acting through a set of ways the environment, relationships with others, he must form a proper attitude and prosocial behavior. Respect individuality, training and development in line with its own development guidelines are necessary conditions in the educational process. Street children are those who are deprived of all monitoring and control, those who are exposed to overcrowding, hunger, cold and different risks. Due to their physical and emotional fragility, they are among the first victims of aggression. Their adaptation to life on the road conditions allow them to survive in a context where no professional skills, no money, no shelter and are likely to be exploited, physically and sexually abused. Survival in the street becomes possible through group membership, learn various skills in which they are intended to provide a form of income, their improvised shelters, most often in the channels and / or staircase, he organized a program day. They learn how to conduct profitable activities, limit their definition as legitimate and how to avoid being arrested or convicted, usually know that nothing happens to be minors.

Transportation has evolved greatly in recent years. With the modern Technologies, the automobile industry has obtained new heights with the respect to speed, efficiency and security. Despite growth and improvement in technology there has been rise in the rate of accidents. The technology used in the proposed design is embedded system. It is used to access, process, store and control the data. Now-a-day’s traffic rules are frequently violated by the drivers and over speeding occur due to bad driving behaviour. It may not be possible to view the regulatory (sign) boards placed by the Road safety Department to alert the drivers in such kind of places and there is a chance for accident. The main objective of the Project is to design and develop a new system that can effectively detect speed violations on the road, and support the driver to obey traffic rules while driving by maintaining the speed of vehicle in accordance to the speed limit prescribed for the particular zone. The proposed system gives an alert with the help of voice module and LCD. The main objective of the project is to overcome the challenges which include accidents that occur due to lack of concentration, conversing over phone while driving and the pollution emitted by the vehicles.

As a promising topic of research, Vehicular Cloud (VC) incorporates cloud computing and ad-hoc vehicular network (VANET). In VC, supplier vehicles provide their services to consumer vehicles in real-time. These services have a significant impact on the applications of internet access, storage and data. Due to the high-speed mobility of vehicles, users in consumer vehicles need a mechanism to discover services in their vicinity. Besides this, quality of service varies from one supplier vehicle to another; thus, consumer vehicles attempt to pick out the most appropriate services. In this paper, we propose a novel protocol named RSU-aided Cluster-based Vehicular Clouds protocol (RCVC), which constructs the VC using the Road Side Unit (RSU) directory and Cluster Head (CH) directory to make the resources of supplier vehicles more visible. While clusters of vehicles that move on the same road form a mobile cloud, the remaining vehicles form a different cloud on the road side unit. Furthermore, the consumption operation is achieved via the service selection method, which is managed by the CHs and RSUs based on a mathematical model to select the best services. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of our protocol in terms of service discovery and end-to-end delay, where we achieved service discovery and end-to-end delay of 3 × 10−3 s and 13 × 10−2 s, respectively. Moreover, we carried out an experimental comparison, revealing that the proposed method outperformed several states of the art protocols.

The traffic controlling system in Bangladesh has not been updated enough with respect to fast improving technology. As a result, traffic rules violation detection and identification of the vehicle has become more difficult as the number of vehicles is increasing day by day. Moreover, controlling traffic is still manual. To solve this problem, the traffic controlling system can be digitalized by a system that consists of two major parts which are traffic rules violation detection and number plate recognition. In this research, these processes are done automatically which is based on machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision technology. Before starting this process, an object on the road is identified through the YOLOv3 algorithm. By using the OpenCV algorithm, traffic rules violation is detected and the vehicle that violated these rules is identified. To recognize the number plate of the vehicle, image acquisition, edge detection, segmentation of characters is done sequentially by using Convolution Neural Network (CNN) in MATLAB background. Among the traffic rules, the following traffic signal is implemented in this research.

While educational and corporate training environments have made large investments in getting wired to high-speed Internet connections, our work and social environments are rapidly becoming more mobile and flexible. The Internet and organizationally based intranets are powerful learning and performance tools, as long as users have a high-speed connection and up-to-date computing equipment. Online learning and information is not nearly as convenient or reliable when learners need to access sites from their homes, hotel rooms, client locations, or while on the road. In corporate settings, large numbers of critical employees such as factory engineers, health care professionals, builders, and maintenance workers often do not even have offices in which to use a computer.

A dynamic development of IT applications automating external processes based on a B2B model refers to a variety of enterprises, including construction companies. Due to the high variability of data during the construction processes performance and the need of a continuous data bases supplied with current data, construction companies expect a good, multifunctional and efficient system - a B2B platform that supports the exchange of data between the ERP system, perceived as an operational layer, and modules responsible for the design, cost estimation, monitoring and control of construction processes implemented in the headquarters and directly on the building site, including the cooperation with subcontractors. The main aim of this article is to present the results of research focused on software functionalities currently available on the market which support a construction process. Ultimately, the results will be used to identify functional gaps in existing software for the construction industry. Then, the functional architecture will be designed containing standard and specialized components that will be the basis for the creation of B2B system OPTIbud.

Based on the significant destructive effect of heavy vehicle on uneven roads, two simplified models of pavement unevenness and vehicle dynamic load were established in accordance with D'A lembert principle, and Matlab software was used to analyze the changing law of dynamic load under the conditions of different road unevenness, vehicle speed and load. The results show that vehicles running on uneven road may produce more cumulative damages than static load, and DLC (dynamic load coefficient) changes in wide range, maximum up to 2.0 or more; the effect of speed and load on dynamic load is complex, and due to multi-factor interaction, DLC doesn’t consistently increase or decrease with speed and load increasing. Although the dynamic load level caused by high-speed heavy vehicle is not necessarily too high, its impact on the road can not be ignored.
