This paper is carried out by conducting systematic mapping that focuses on the circular economy (CE) theme using bibliometric analysis. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive view of circular economy research that is based on bibliometric data from 2017 to 2021. The data is collected from Scopus using VOSviewer software. Network visualization and density visualization are used in this study. The findings conclude that: (1) the publication trend of the circular economy continues to increase; and (2) the author with the most link is Mangla, S.K. with 15 links, and the author with the most research related to a circular economy is Liu, Y. with 16 papers/research. It is also found that there are 3 big themes that are close to a circular economy, namely sustainable development, recycling, and life cycle. This indicates that the opportunity to examine circular economy while associating it with variables outside of sustainable development, recycling, and the life cycle is still very large. The countries that have conducted the most research on circular economy is (1) United Kingdom (218 papers); (2) Italy (161 papers); and (3) China (161 papers).

The article considers the model of circular economy and the possibility of its implementation in Ukraine. The authors explore the main aspects of the circular economy and the relationship with the goals of sustainable development. It is noted that the use of innovations and innovation systems is the basis of the circular economy, which will ensure the interdependence between the reduction of non-returnable waste and increase the use of reusable resources, will not improve the ecological and economic condition of the country. The article analyzes the economic content of methods and models of implementation of the circular economy by identifying their impact on the sustainability of economic and government systems. The generalization of world experience in the implemented concepts of the circular economy allowed us to identify 5 main circular business models: circular deliveries, resource recovery, platforms for exchange and sharing, product as a service. The article gives examples of implementation of the principles of circular economy in the production of world brands. Prerequisites and recommendations for the introduction of a circular economy in Ukraine are summarized. It is determined that the introduction of a circular economy is beneficial for the enterprise or company, for consumers, communities and the state as a whole. The advantages in the long run on optimization of material flows, opportunities to enter new markets, expand the scope of services, obtaining additional profits in the field of services are highlighted. The interrelation of business models of circular economy recommended for use in Ukraine is established. The article identifies further steps of the study, which will be aimed at building a model of circular economy, based on the experience of leading European countries, taking into account Ukrainian characteristics, as well as detailed performance criteria for companies implementing circular economy depending on the scope and size.

Climatic and traffic effects are the causes of aging of the surface layer of asphalt, which leads to the necessary renovation of the latter. The use of waste from the tread layer provides a viable and beneficial solution for the environment and the economy. However, this solution must meet the requirement of sustainable development, which necessitates that a road has a very long lifespan. In this study we investigated the performance of recycled asphalt in terms of fatigue (as an element of life-cycle control). All the formulas were tested by the fatigue test in order to define the influence of the proportions of the asphalt aggregates, penetrability of the new binder used, and the manufacturing temperature. The results obtained showed the relationship between the contribution binder (reproduced between the new binder and the old binder) and the fatigue resistance under the influence of the parameters that we have mentioned above. At the end an optimization study has been carried out in order to determine exactly the doses required to formulate recycled asphalt resisted to fatigue The optimization seeks to maximize the asphalt aggregates and minimize the temperature of manufacture with a class of the binder compatible.

To achieve sustainable development, conserve energy and reduce emission are the themes of modern society. Life Cycle Design is an important design philosophy while Modular Design is one of the modern design ways which produced in the economic development. This paper presents a more perfect Modular Design based on Life Cycle Design. This paper will be developed in three parts: the first part introduces the basic concepts of the Life Cycle Design, Modular Design and the relationship between them; the second analyses the necessity of Modular Design in all stages of the product life cycle and the matter to be attended to; and third presents the method and steps of the Modular Design based on the Life Cycle Design and takes the design of range hood as an example in order to explain it.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the extent to which the system of indicators that is used in the Monitoring Framework for the transition to the circular economy (CE) is efficient and relevant in their contribution to the sustainable development of European communities. The fundaments of the transition framework and the main characteristics of the circularity indicators are presented. A critical review was performed in order to fulfill the objective of analyzing the current indicators. It is concluded that the indicators in the current framework are (as a selection from a very broad range of indicators theoretically proposed and with estimated practical applicability) limited from the perspective of circularity only to waste generation and recycling processes containing recyclable materials, without including important circularity indicators related to the prolonging and extending the life cycle of products and materials. This paper proposes and defines such an indicator, based on the consideration of the fundamental scalars describing economy, mass, energy, time, and value, respectively. The indicator is described and its applicability in all the phases of the economy is estimated.

Subject. The article addresses the principles of circular economy in their relationship with the principles of sustainable development and green economy. Objectives. The aim is to clarify the principles of circular economy and green economy, establish the relationship of principles of these concepts, propose new principles of circular economy. Methods. The study rests on methods of analysis, synthesis, comparative and causal analysis. Results. The paper presents a comparative analysis of principles of the green economy. On its basis, a new interpretation of the concept principles is offered. Taking into account the interrelation of the concepts of green and circular economies, the paper also clarifies the principles of the circular economy. The framework of the circular economy is supplemented by principles of regional specificity, recovery, regeneration and reclamation. I propose to consider the framework of circular economy from the point of view of "principles-conditions" and "principles-actions". Conclusions. Despite its popularity, the paradigm of the circular economy has not been properly formed. The scientific literature still lacks a systems and comprehensive analysis of its conceptual foundations. The principles of circular economy should reflect the relationship of the concept with the fundamental principles of sustainable development and the green economy, though have their own specifics.

Purpose of the research. The paper aims to analyse the relationship between migration and the sustainable development of the countries, identifying the tendencies evolutions of the migration theory in the context of three dimensions: content, geographical and historical. Methodology. The description of tendencies of the evolution of the theory of management of migration processes was done with bibliometric analysis tools. For this purpose, the author generated the meta-data of scientific publications on the researched issues from Scopus. The results of the bibliometric analysis were visualised using VOSviewer. To determine the relationship between migration and sustainable development of the country, a nonparametric measure of Spearman's correlation was calculated using the EViews. Results. According to bibliometric analysis, the main directions of scientific research on migration issues are determined. The development of the theory of management of migration processes by geographical and temporal dimensions is described. The following scientific clusters could be highlighted: the most significant cluster (red) – focuses on the general aspects of the migration; green cluster – focuses on the demography and cultural as core factors that influenced migration; blue cluster – focuses on the impact of migration policy and governance efficiency on the migration; yellow cluster – linking among gender factor, economic and social development, and migration. It was determined that the latest publications focus on the study of relationships among migration processes and the effectiveness of sustainable development goals. Practical meaning. The author empirically proved the existence of a correlation between migration and sustainable development of the country. Prospects for further research. The results justified the necessity to test the hypothesis of long-term causal links between migration and indicators of sustainable development of the country.
