A Researcher aim to evaluate the sleep quality in old age people who are staying in selected old age home and to measure the fruitfulness of warm water foot bath therapy in increasing level of sleep in old age people. It was concluded through this literature review that warm water foot bath therapy is very helpful in increasing level of sleep and sleep quality among elderly people.

Abstract: An Elderly is someone who has reached the age of 60 years or more. The number of elderly in Indonesia in 2020 has reached 28.7 million. This number continues to increase every year. The elderly will naturally experience changes both physically and mentally which can reduce their quality of life. The quality of sleep and cognitive function in the elderly also changes due to aging factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly. This research is a literature review. This study studied topics related to the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly from previous studies. The literature reviewed consists of 15 literature with 8 literature discussing the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality in the elderly and 7 other literature discussed the effect of yoga exercise on cognitive function in the elderly. The results of this study indicate that yoga exercises that are carried out regularly both in the long and short term can improve the quality of sleep in the elderly and maintain cognitive function in the elderly. It can also prevent dementia and Alzheimer's disease in the elderly.Keywords: yoga exercise, sleep quality, cognitive function, elderly  Abstrak: Lansia merupakan seseorang yang sudah mencapai usia 60 tahun atau lebih. Jumlah lansia di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 mencapai 28,7 juta jiwa. Angka ini terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Lansia secara alamiah akan mengalami perubahan baik secara fisik dan mental yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidupnya. Kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia juga mengalami perubahan akibat faktor penuaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang sifatnya literature review. Penelitian ini mempelajari topik-topik terkait pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia dari penelitian-penelitiam sebelumnya. Literatur yang diulas dan dipelajari sebanyak 15 literatur dengan 8 literatur membahas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia dan 7 literatur lainnya mengulas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa senam yoga yang dilakukan secara rutin baik dalam jangka panjang maupun pendek dapat memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas tidur lansia. Senam yoga juga dapat mempertahankan fungsi kognitif lansia dan mencegah lansia dari penyakit demensia dan alzheimer.Kata kunci : senam yoga, kualitas tidur, fungsi kognitif, lansia

Sleep is a basic need that must be fulfilled by humans. Sleep disorders often occur in pregnant women which has an impact on the quality of sleep. This study aims to identify the effect of soaking feet with warm water on the quality of sleep for pregnant women. This study used a quasi-experiment design with a nonequivalent control group design approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with 40 respondents who were in accordance with the eligible criteria. Interventions are given for 7 consecutive days. Measurement of sleep quality score using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire. The difference in sleep quality scores was analyzed by Mann Whitney test, and scores of each component were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test.The results of this study indicate the influence of soaking feet with warm water on sleep quality of respondents before and after the intervention (p = 0.007; α = 5%). From these results, it can be said that there was an increase in quality of sleep after soaking the feet with warm water. Hydrotherapy by soaking feet with warm water can be applied by pregnant women to improve sleep quality.

ABSTRACT Objective: To study the quality of sleep in very elderly people with chronic pain. Methods: We investigated 51 very elderly people without dementia and with chronic pain according to the Geriatric Pain Measure. Katz and Lawton questionnaires were used to evaluate functionality. The Geriatric Depression Scale and Geriatric Psychosocial Assessment of Pain-induced Depression were also used. Self-perceptions of sleep and quality of sleep were checked using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Results: Moderate pain was seen in 64.7% participants. The tracking of depression was positive for 41.2%. Poor quality of sleep was noted in 49% of them, but 82.3% perceived that they had a very good, or a good, sleep. The main factors associated with poor sleep quality were measurement of pain, self-perception of sleep, and pain-induced depression. Conclusion: Very elderly people with chronic pain, and without dementia, had a higher prevalence of poor sleep; however, they overestimated their sleep quality. Poor quality of sleep was associated with a poor self-perception of sleep and pain-induced depression.

Sleep is a basic need that must be met by humans. Sleep disorders can lead to serious problems and even reduce quality of life. This often occurs in hospitality that decrease the quality of sleep. Soaking the feet in warm water can improve the microcirculation of the blood vessels and vasodilation causing a relaxing effect, followed by increased secretion of melatonin thus improving the quality of sleep. This study aimed to identify the effect of soaking feet in warm water to the quality of sleep of patient in the PUSKESMAS Dungkek This study uses a quasi-experimental design approach to one group pretest-posttest. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 20 respondents who had been in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Intervention is given for 3 consecutive days. Measurement of sleep quality scores using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire. Differences in sleep quality scores were analyzed by d using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed the influence of soaking feet in warm water for sleep quality before and after the intervention p=0.001 (<0.005), from these results it mean an increase in the quality of sleep after a soak feet in warm water. This study is expected to be an alternative option for nurses to apply soak feet in warm water to improve the quality of sleep of patient in hospital.

AbstractThe quality of sleep in pregnant women is very important for the health of both mother and fetus. The cause of sleep disturbances in pregnant women is due to the increased weight of the fetus, shortness of breath, fetal movement and back pain. To overcome this, it is necessary to do pregnancy exercises that increase the comfort of pregnant women. The purpose of this article is to determine the effect of pregnancy exercise on the quality of sleep of tird trimester pregnant women. The method used is a literature review which tries to dig up information about the effect of pregnancy exercise on the quality of sleep of pregnant women. Sources for conducting this literature review include systematic search studies of computerized databases (Scopus and Google Scholar) in the form of research journals totaling 3 journals. Writing scientific articles using the American Psychological Association bibliography (APA Format 6th Ed). The results showed that the mean value of sleep quality for pregnant women before doing pregnancy exercise was 12.43 and the mean value after pregnancy exercise was 6.43 (p = 0.000), thus there was an effect of pregnancy exercise on the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan senam hamil yang meningkatkan kenyamanan pada ibu hamil.Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi tinjauan literatur (literature review) yang mencoba menggali informasi mengenai pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai mean kualitas tidur ibu hamil sebelum melakukan senam hamil adalah 12.43 dan nilai mean setelah pemberian senam hamil 6.43(p= 0.000),dengan demikian ada pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III. Abstract80% of the use og gadgets in Indonesia is dominated by teenagers. Teenagers can spend their time just playing with their gadgets. Meanwhile, research data show that 63% of adolescents have inadequate sleep quality. This study aimed to determine the correlation between gadget use and adolescent sleep quality using a literature review study. Using a literature review design with the PEO (population, exposure, outcame) method ang using five articles from Google Scholar, Pubmed, Proquest published in 2010-2021. It showed that most of the respondents were male (52.42%) and 13 years old (30,52%). On the use of gadgets, most respondents were in the category of low use or not addicted (71.97%). Most of the respondents also had good quality of sleep (75.30%). The five articles obtained a p-value less than 0,05. There is a correlation between the use of gadgets with adolescents sleep quality.Keywords: Adolescents; gadgets; sleep quality AbstrakPenggunaan gadget di Indonesia 80% didominasi oleh usia remaja. Remaja bisa menghabiskan waktunya hanya untuk bermain gadget. Sedangkan data penelitian menunjukkan 63% remaja memiliki kualitas tidur kurang terpenuhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan gadget terhadap kualitas tidur remaja menggunakan studi literature review. Menggunakan desain literature review dengan menggunakan metode PEO (population, exposure, outcame) dan menggunakan 5 artikel dari database dengan penelusuran elektronik pada Google Scholar, PubMed, Proquest yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 2010-2021. Karakteristik responden dari kelima artikel didapatkan jumlah responden terbanyak berjenis kelamin laki-laki (52,42%), responden terbanyak berusia 13 tahun (30,52). Pad penggunaan gadget sebagian besar responden pada kategori penggunaan rendah atau tidak kecanduan (71,97%) dan pada kualitas tidur sebagian besar responden memiliki kualitas yang baik (75,30%). Kelima artikel diperoleh hasil p-value < 0,05. Terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan gadget dengan kualitas tidur remaja.Kata kunci: Gadget; kualitas tidur; remaja
