This research starts from the problems that appeared in Citizenship Education learning process which is recognized by lack of students’ activeness and low of courage level in expressing students’ opinions. The indication of lack the courage in expressing students’ opinions can be seen from the low of students’ activeness in learning process. Teachers have the most strategic role in learning process. The teachers Strategic role in learning process have the impact on students' competencies (knowledge, attitudes, skills). The competence of students’ will develop optimally depending on how teachers place them selves and students’ in teaching learning process. Based on the background above, the identification of this research formulation is how the teaching and learning of Citizenship Education can play an important role in improving the courage for the students’ to be able express opinions during the teaching-learning process easily. This research was conducted by the purpose to know how the Citizenship Education can play an important role in improving the courage to express students opinions in teaching-learning process. To achieve the objectives conducted qualitative research on the case study method of learning Citizenship Educationin at Vocational High School Pasundan I Serang City. Data collecting technique that used were observation, interview and documentation. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that Citizenship Education in improving the courage express students opinions is able to change the situations of learning centere on teachers become students active role in achieving the learning objectives. Based on the findings of this research, it can be argued that the Citizenship Education in improving the courage to express students opinion have the potential to participate actively in the learning process and collaboration in a heterogeneous group. Keywords: learning, Citizenships Education, Courage, Expressing Opinions

Project-based learning offers an engaging instructional method to make learners active constructors of knowledge. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of learning in two project-based learning of construction through model making in architecture using a case study and by designing. Model making is an innovative and time-consuming approach in teaching construction as this approach rely heavily on student-teacher partnership mimicking the studio learning. Learning construction through model making needs students to take an active role and to be ‘in-charge' of their learning and learning process. The study employs a survey to 78 participants of undergraduate architecture students. The results of this study demonstrated architecture students learn construction effectively using the model making method. This project-based learning allows students to have construction knowledge to consider buildability in their architecture design studio. The result can be used to improve teaching and learning of construction in architectural education.

The eLearning instruments that have been researched in the last few years represent a necessity for the Romanian primary school also within the development of the alternative learning sources. These cognitive instruments as D.H. Jonassen names them, are utilized in the USA and are researched in other countries, too (France) in order to be implemented. The aim of this article is to implement and to recommend the utilization of electronic models: text and image processing sheets, presentation sheets, spreadsheets in the teachinglearning process in primary school. According to this aim, the research hypothesis has been issued in keeping with which we anticipate to be able to offer a well thought training in the eLearning field by updating the teaching and learning process with the help of the implementation of a set of electronic models which will increase the intercepting coefficient, the motivation, stimulation, imagination and enthusiasm degree for the learning actors and will redefine the teacher-pupil relation. The main objectives which derive from the hypothesis of our study confine to establishing the impact of electronic models of the eLeaming Set that has been proposed to be implemented on the actors primary school in the teaching-learning process; rendering the teaching-learning process efficient by implementing cognitive models with electronic support; working out an operational guide that contains scientific-practical recommendations and lesson models that utilize PeL; enriching the mathematical thinking. The study sample covers a population that wishes to know, to participate in the implementing of the new technologies. The sample was composed as follows: 121 teachers in primary schools, most of them students of the University in Pite

Assessment can serve different purposes. In Spain there has been an increase of research in assessment processes that intends to enhance students’ learning. Attending to this scenario, this study intends to explore the understandings of four teachers from one Spanish university, known as one of the most active in developing formative and shared assessment processes, about i) the process of implementing formative and shared assessment processes and ii) the impact of these assessments on students and on the teaching-learning process. Four teachers were purposively selected to be interviewed, according to their availability, use of assessment to promote students’ learning, work in a teacher education programme and have more than 15 years of experience as teacher. Analysis of data collected from semi-structured individual interviews resulted in the following themes i) formative and shared assessment – advantages vs. disadvantages, ii) vision about teacher education programmes, iii) teachers’ changes throughout their career, iv) students’ participation in assessment, and v) negotiating the teaching-learning process with students. These teachers consider that formative and shared assessment can be laborious, but worth the effort, mainly in teacher education programmes, where the focus is not only on student-person, but also on future teacher-person.

The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information on the constraints of the online teaching and learning process at home as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research use the exploratory case study method and the research approach utilised the qualitative case study method which was applied to obtain information on the constraints and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching and learning activities in junior high school. In this study, respondents were 3 teachers and 3 parents at the Kusu-kusu Sereh Christian Middle School in Ambon. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and a list of questions compiled for interviews was developed based on related literature. The results of this study are that there are several obstacles experienced by students, teachers and parents in teaching and learning activities both online and offline. Obstacles in the online learning process are mainly the lacking technology mastery, the additional cost of internet quota, and lastly the reduced communication and socialization between students, teachers and parents. Obstacles in offline learning are the distance the teacher travels to when visiting the student's residence which is quite far away and the additional work for the teacher in arranging the schedule for student home visits. The same constraints faced in online and offline learning are the existence of additional work for parents in accompanying children to study, and unlimited working hours for teachers because they have to communicate and coordinate with parents, other teachers, and school principals

The present study is a reflection on the method of case study in learning law. To achieve this purpose we will discuss the traditional method and its limitations to the challenges of law in the era of globalization. We will emphasize the urgent need to implement the case study method in Portuguese law schools, as an instrument that enhances the active participation of the student, protagonist in the process of learning and knowledge acquisition. This study is justified today, especially the challenges triggered by the Bologna process, including the implication in the teaching, learning and assessment. The teacher is assumed as a supervisor of the learning process, calling for the autonomy of the student. It is intended that students develop critical thinking and be able to reflect on their own learning process. Therefore, the need to revise the traditional methodology here rooted in the teaching of law. A review of the literature will be carried out, which will seek to contextualize, at present, the reflexivity with the pedagogical objective. Use shall be a deductive reasoning, based on the general reality of teaching to learning the law, underlining the importance of the case study method for the development of didactic and pedagogical dimension. At the end of this tour we will be able to discern the extent of the right learning, seeking a methodological model capable of mobilizing students for their new role, participatory and critical. The current model of education should focus on learning and the use of teaching methods that are not limited to the learning, particularly the most active. The student should be able to participate and discuss the acquired knowledge in concrete contexts of social life. Keywords: education; teaching; case; method.
