Meta-Analysis of EMF-Induced Pollution by COVID-19 in Virtual Teaching and Learning With an Artificial Intelligence Perspective

Concerns about the health effects of frequent exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) emitted from mobile towers and handsets have been raised because of the gradual increase in usage of cell phones and frequent setting up of mobile towers. Present study is targeted to detrimental effects of EMF radiation on various biological systems mainly due to online teaching and learning process by suppressing the immune system. During COVID-19 pandemic the increased usage of internet due to online education and online office leads to more detrimental effects of EMF radiation. Further inculcation of soft computing techniques in EMF radiation has been presented. A literature review focusing on the usage of soft computing techniques in the domain of EMF radiation has been presented in the article. An online survey has been conducted targeting Indian academic stakeholders’ (Specially Teachers, Students and Parents termed as population in paper) for analyzing the awareness towards the bio hazards of EMF exposure.

Science Learning Training Using Information Technology in The Covid-19 Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has a direct impact on the environment of society, both regarding aspects of knowledge and aspects of problem solving which are all trial and error or speculative on various things, as a result in the world of education it is also inseparable from various problems, so that not a few end up leading to conflicts or debate. This community service program (PKM) is aimed at SMA Muhammadiyah Pangandaran teachers with the aim of being able to help solve problems, especially those related to the Teaching and Learning Process in the form of networks (online) in the field of science learning. For this reason, it is necessary to have a technology device that can help teaching and learning activities, especially internet-based information technology applications, with the hope that the online teaching and learning process can take place as it should. and motivate teachers to teach. The results of this PKM activity are in the form of increased motivation or enthusiasm for teaching and additional insight into the use of Information Technology (IT) in carrying out the On Line-based Teaching and Learning Process. In conclusion, the PKM which was appointed under the title Science Learning Training Using Information Technology in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period provided an adequate contribution to 32 SMA Muhammadiyah Pangandaran teachers as training participants.

Online Learning: Challenges and Solutions for Learners and Teachers

The COVID-19 pandemic led to an expansion and increase in the demand for online teaching and learning across the globe. Online teaching and learning is attracting a large number of students for enhanced learning experiences. However, there are many challenges and hindrances that pose a problem in the smooth learning. The impediments in the learning process are suppressing the advantages that may aid the learners with augmented learning sessions. EVALUATION OF EDUCATION SYSTEM DURING COVID-19 TOWARD STUDENTS’ PSYCHOLOGY

The Covid-19 virus disease affects the entire world, including the education system and its impact on students' psychology. The goal of this study is to learn how the education system transitioned from offline or face-to-face teaching learning to online teaching-learning mode at Putera Batam University for the teaching-learning process and semester exams via online during COVID-19. In this study, the descriptive qualitative approach was used to discover students' psychology in online learning. In order to overcome these issues, the purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive picture of online teaching and learning activities taking place during the lockdown period, including the link between the change management process and online teaching and learning processes in the education system in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. Ongoing disruption and resumption of educational activities and discourse as normal procedures in the education system. The data were analyzed using Wile (Syahputri et al., 2020) and Miles Huberman and Saldana (2014). They were 110 students as respondents (B.Miles et al., 2014). The result found that students fatigued 100%, they felt headache, tired, shoulder sore 85%, demotivation 21%, withdrawal, and procrastination 70%, bad time management about 76%, and Feeling Isolated 85% and Uncertainty to what the lecturer/friends explain during the class 75%.

Online Teaching during COVID-19 Pandemic: Teachers’ Experiences from a Chinese University

This paper explores the experiences of Chinese university teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a particular emphasis on the teaching and learning methods adopted and the benefits and challenges encountered in the process. It is based on semi-structured interviews with 13 Chinese university teachers selected through purposive sampling. The findings suggest that the COVID-19 pandemic forced the university and teachers to adopt online teaching and learning without necessary preparations. Most of the teachers had no adequate ICT and pedagogical training to engage in online teaching and learning. The teachers used the little knowledge they had to learn creating videos and managing online classes gradually. In addition to the flexibility benefits, online learning is expected to transform the teaching and learning process in China to become more interactive and student-centered, which would be a significant achievement for teachers who have been practicing traditional teaching methods. This research provides a better understanding of the benefits and challenges of online learning, which could be vital for future adjustments or educational reforms.

APLIKASI PEMBELAJARAN ABAD KE-21 DALAM TALIAN: CABARAN GURU PENDIDIKAN MORAL [21ST CENTURY ONLINE LEARNING APPLICATIONS: THE CHALLENGE OF MORAL EDUCATION TEACHERS]

The Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon has unfolded in Malaysia since 2020, it has brought far-reaching changes to all aspects of society includes education. Due to the Movement Control Order (PKP), educational institutions in Malaysia were ordered to close, student started fully learning online from home. This situation has become a challenge to the implementation of the 21st Century learning approach inteaching. As this fully online teaching and learning are happening for the first time in Malaysian education, this study aims to explore the challenges faced by Malaysian Moral Education teachers on the implementation of the 21st Century skill in an online classroom. This study uses a qualitative method by interviewing 5 Moral Education teachers as respondents. The findings of this study show that the change of online teaching and learning has caused unexpected challenges to Moral Education teachers, the traditional teaching techniques which have been applied in face-to-face classrooms are not effective when moving to online teaching and learning. To achieve the objectives of Moral Education which involve aspects of cognition, feeling, and action, the factors of internet access at home, cooperation from the parents, and the teacher’s skill of using technology need to be considered.

Institutional Policies and Online Education in Developing Countries

This chapter aims to examine the effectiveness of institutional policies regarding online teaching and learning in some developing countries in the Southern African region. The study is informed by online teaching and learning principles, and it adopts qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data comprises answers of 231 students to the question: Did your institution encourage online learning before the lockdown? The sample was collected through a survey between the 1st July 2020 and the 11th March 2021, a period in which students were undertaking an online learning process as a strategy to overcome the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 67% of respondents confirm that their universities did not implement nor encourage online learning before the lockdown due to the pandemic. In this context, the study shows that aversive policies against online learning and lack of adequate equipment jeopardize the education goals to provide integrated and globalizing learning.

Assessing South African University Adoption of Online Teaching During COVID 19

This study aims to assess South African universities' adoption of online teaching and learning during COVID-19. The literature review and document analysis were used to analyze the data. The study found that the Department of Higher Education and Training worked with universities to develop a plan to implement online teaching and learning. Various stakeholders such as media and mobile companies supported the online teaching and learning through financial resources in the form of data subsidizing, media airtime, and campaign for the initiative.

Impact of Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, No. 25 of 2002 Provision 27 in South Africa Education on Emerging Technologies

This chapter assess the level of South African university implementation of The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) provision 27. The literature review from other countries was used as form analysis level of adoption of electronic filing. The research found that South African universities adopted information communication technologies; however, most students and academics were unfamiliar with ECTA provision 27 on filing in an electronic environment. Non-compliance with the ECTA is instrumental towards the lack of providing online teaching and learning. The researcher recommends universities to develop an ECTA implementation plan to improve filing on electronic records filing.
