RPG. Geografia Física. ABSTRACTThe use of innovative methodologies in the classroom is a recurring subject in discussions about geography teaching. With that in mind, as a result of the discipline Workshop in Geography II from the State University of Ceará (UECE) was created, an alternative didactic material with the aid of teachers in the construction of a contextualized geography teaching. This research looks to show an alternative perspective for the teaching of geography that aims to practice beyond the cognitive action of memorizing the concept, but also working on interdisciplinary, creativity, the emotional and cooperation. The proposal was to build an RPG (Role Playing Game), which is a game that uses character interpretation to create and tell stories collectively in which all agents become active within that process. The following procedures were executed: bibliographic review, selection and adaptation of the rules system. At the end, it produced an adventure of RPG "The search for the arc of Ice" that works on physical aspects from the Brazilian northeast, focusing on the state of Ceará. After the material elaboration, it was clear the importance to work on perspectives beyond content. It felt the need to apply the didactic resource to measure its real impact. Abstract The Old Babylonian schoolmasters used the literary form of the dialogue to compose texts that were conceived as didactic material to improve the Sumerian speaking skills of their pupils and to teach them specific moral values. Some of these compositions can be labeled as school-disputes based on to their content and were probably performed at school. The ends of the school-disputes Enkiḫeĝal and Enkitalu and Ĝirinisa and Enkimanšum are particularly interesting because they provide some insight into how the schoolmasters dealt with quarreling students. In this respect Enkiḫeĝal und Enkitalu stands out for its challenge of corporal punishment. In Ĝirinisa and Enkimanšum one can note that school discipline implies a fraternal attitude between students. This fraternal attitude presupposed and reinforced the scribe’s self-confidence to form a cohesive cultural community.

Abstract As changes in coastal and marine environments are expected to negatively affect Brazilian ecosystems, the importance of Marine Environmental Education (MEE) comes to the fore. However, so far only 32 contributions related to this issue have been published in Brazil. The MEE workgroup of ReBentos aims at promoting EE and the communication of marine ecological research to the scholastic public as a whole, as well as to groups which exert an influence on general perception, such as the media, politicians, and scientists. This paper presents an overview of the initiatives of MEE in Brazil, with emphasis on the ReBentos projects and guidelines. The conceptual background of action is based on the Rio'92 Treaty on Environmental Education, thereby implying an MEE with Transdisciplinar, emancipatory and reflexive characteristics, directed to changes in values, principles and attitudes. During the period 2011 to 2015, 10 projects were developed from Alagoas to Santa Catarina States, involving the development, implementation and testing through scientific research of 16 MEE activity-models. The didactic material subsequently produced comprised three books and 21 book-chapters. A public of around 6,500 Conservation Unit visitors, 250 public school teachers and 800 high school students have been impacted to date. To act as monitors and multipliers, 250 undergraduate students and professionals were trained. Research project evaluation generated the publication of nine papers. As a further step, the need for protocol elaboration for each model is placed in evidence, in order to direct and facilitate future initiatives.

Based on a successful five-week summer program, we constructed an online alternative to prepare Hispanic students to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). We used input from student premed advisors, students, a faculty mentor, a Verbal Reasoning coach, and the program administrator. Online activities were provided to support the student commitment of 10-12 hours per week for 12 weeks. We included didactic material, an online community, individual coaching, daily announcements, and structured activities to maintain student interest throughout the 12-week program. This case study may provide guidelines on the elements necessary to a successful online program.

The purpose of the research is to demonstrate the productivity of using the lecturer’s training web-site of Russian as a foreign language in the preparatory courses at the University. Lecturer’s training website is an effective means stipulated with principal of consciousness and activity of scholars under the guidance of a lecturer. Training web-site as informative and communicative instrument is able to combine didactic matter, learning techniques and methods for different forms of work organization: full-time, mixed and distance; also, didactic material means educational complexes, information and communication means, control and training. An important principle underlying the proposed teaching method is the refusal to use the methods of unconscious repetition.Materials and methods. To identify the ef fectiveness in application of lecturer’s training web-site various educational platforms were used having different target and national groups. The analysis of studies on mechanical repetitions of well-known physiologists, biologists, lecturers was carried out, which allowed us to come to the conclusion about the ineffectiveness of using techniques with unconscious repetitions in the educational process. Systematic use of lecturer’s web-site in educational process shows that most effective methods and techniques are audio-visual, textual exercises from simple to complex with further audio dubbing, audio method of teaching phonetics and literacy, “lively dialogue” as a new technique in teaching Russian for foreigners, vocabulary works and differentiated approach. Observation, comparison and matching methods were applied, which helped to identify the productivity of learning with the use of multimedia. To identify scientific novelty, an empirical method was used by introducing author’s personal educational web-site project www.russian-teacher.ru with a description of observations and summarizing the results.Results. It is noted that the offered website format is innovation in the field of teaching Russian for foreigners during preparatory course. It was proved with high positive result that the use of a lecturer’s personal training website with the possibility of feedback gives good results when teaching Russian as a foreign language in a short time  at the nonlinguistic university during the period of distance learning, with a mixed form of education.Conclusion. Research using the site continues in different groups by nationality (it is possible that there are several linguistic ones), by the number (it is possible to train a group of up to 15 people), by the degree of preparation (possibly A1-B1). The site has a number of advantages: the ability to edit as needed, change the interface and generate content. The study shows how didactics is interconnected with physiology, and the lecturer’s competence includes creativity, which in modern informational conditions is considered through the use of multimedia the lecturer’s training personal website www. russian-teacher.ru.
