The aim: To determine the level of patients' satisfaction with the received dental care in regional dental clinic and to make proposals for improving the quality of dental care based on the survey results. Materials and methods: 221 copies of the questionnaires completed by the respondents; sociological method (questionnaire), medical-statistical, analysis and bibliosemantic methods were used. Results: Patients expressed high satisfaction with the quality of dental care according to the criteria of geographical accessibility (4.28 ± 0.05 points), the conditions in the doctor's office (4.63 ± 0.04 points), safety of dental interventions (4.54 ± 0.04 points) and their effectiveness (4.58 ± 0.04 points), the attitude of the doctor to the patient (4.75 ± 0.03 points), the clarity of information for the patient (4.52 ± 0.04 points). However, the satisfaction of patients with the cost of dental services was only 3.76 ± 0.05 points. Conclusions: Patients' satisfaction with the financial accessibility of dental care was found to be lower compared to satisfaction with other healthcare quality components. This information can be used to make management decisions on revising the coverage of the cost of dental services from the state budget and other sources of funding.

This article assesses the reliability, constructive validity and reproducibility of a special questionnaire for determining the quality parameters of rendering physiotherapeutic care to patients with chronic generalized periodontitis. The analysis of literary sources showed that there are studies of quality of dental services, however, we have not met with research into the quality and comfort of physiotherapy procedures for periodontal patients. At the same time, the importance of this issue is obvious and requires study and analysis. Without making judgments about the quality of the service, a full-fledged medical dental procedure can not take place. The assortment of physical devices and methods grows annually, their use in the periodontoloical treatment is not always sufficiently justified, the effectiveness is not always confimed therefore it is important to pay attention not only to the marketing efforts directed by the clinics for comfort, but also to analyze the ideas about the quality of the clinical characteristics of physiotherapeutic procedures.

What does ‘value’ mean? In the context of dental care, it can be defined as the quality of care received by a patient divided by the cost to the patient of receiving that care. In other words: V =Q/C, where Q equals the quality improvement over time, which most patients view in the context of the outcome, the service provided and safety/risk management, and C equals the financial, biological and time cost to the patient. Here, the need for, and implications of, value-based density for clinicians and patients alike are explored.

Subject. The study deals with heuristics as measures of the emotional impact of people who judge about the value and the final result of the valuation. I review ranges of the value variance when influenced by irrational factors. From psychological perspectives, some phenomena are explained with a set of heuristics that exist as part of behavioral finance. Objectives. Referring to the completed studies, I implement elements of behavioral finance, such as heuristics into the method for assessing how financial decision-makers and their emotions influence the value. Methods. The article is based on methods of induction and deduction to process survey results. Results. The article reveals the content of key methods for measuring emotions of financial decision-maker, which conclude on the value, being influenced by heuristics. I demonstrate tools for implementing psychological measurement methods as part of valuation. Conclusions and Relevance. Considering heuristics of value decision-makers, the appraiser and the cost analyst approximate the valuation result to the real conditions, when market actors are irrational. Doing so, they contribute to the quality of the result of appraisal. The findings are applicable to the practice of appraisers, cost analysts, fundamental analysts. Heuristics enrich and expands the classical apparatus of valuation and increases its quality.

In dental care services, quality is an important factor that affects decision making, the planning of health strategies and policies, the cost of health services, and the evaluation of them. The evaluation of quality in dental services using the assessment methods that are used in other services of primary healthcare is difficult due to the special characteristics of dentistry. However, the improvement and the evaluation of primary oral healthcare services is a complicated issue because it involves many factors that affect it. Therefore, the purpose of this chapter is to provide a complete overview of the literature using Webster and Watson's methodology. Fifty peer-reviewed papers were analyzed and the results of this review revealed that the number of publications in this domain has increased in the last decade, and there is a need to foster research (especially empirical) in this field.

The article presents the results of the analysis of judicial practice for five years (2013-2017) in civil cases related to defects of dental care. Studies have shown that the most common reasons for patients to go to court are claims to orthopedic dentists (in 42% of cases) and dental therapists (in 31% of cases). The specialty of the doctor is not of decisive importance for the occurrence of judicial risks, due to the fact that the quality of complex dental care is most often assessed (in 45% of cases). The largest amounts of payments, exceeding 92 times the cost of treatment, are determined by dentists-surgeons. The study substantiates the need to develop new assessments at the stages of treatment, criteria for assessing the achieved results of treatment and the development of the practice of insurance of professional responsibility of dentists.

ABSTRACT Purpose To know any alternate method for the provision of dental needs for the rural population. Introduction Teledentistry is an upcoming field in dentistry that combines telecommunication technology and dental care. It is an exciting field that has endless potential. Teledentistry increased patient access to dental care, improved quality of care and the cost effectiveness. Teledentistry is also useful in long-distance clinical training and continuing education, screening and dentistlaboratory communication. Materials and Methods This review article is formulated based on the available literature online. A thorough search was made on the pubmed and other reliable sources and then this review is formed. Conclusion Teledentistry may provide a possible solution to many prevailing problems related to dental care provision, like people living in rural areas and those who are not able to retrieve regular dental care. The future of teledentistry will depend on the efforts of the health authorities as on the collective efforts of the dental professionals. Most of the dentists are unaware about teledentistry, about its goals and advantages and how to get involved into it. How to cite this article Jain A, Bhaskar Dj, Gupta D, Agali C, Gupta V, Mark R. This paper discusses a method that integrates Fuzzy AHP with Taguchi Loss Function. The method used to select suppliers with various criteria. This various criteria will be considered to get the best supplier. This research was conducted at a textile company in Indonesia for the cotton product 41166. The purpose of this research is to apply techniques to improve the performance of Fuzzy AHP by considering the cost of losses as small as possible. Research data obtained from the survey results using questionnaires and company factual data in the form of costs of losses incurred due to improper quantity of raw materials, quality of raw materials that are not in accordance with standards, delays in delivery, prices that exceed expectations, and poor service or response. The results of this research shown the value of losses incurred by 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th suppliers respectively for $ 2.23, $ 671.12, $ 815.57, and $ 1243.64. Among four suppliers, the best supplier with the smallest loss value is first supplier.

In a real-time software system, often a small portion of the components holds the major operations of the system. Thus, the rate of failure of those portions is high, which leads to major loss to the system. In order to develop cost-effective and high-quality software systems, those fault-prone components must be identified and tested rigorously. This paper analyzes the industrial questionnaire survey with a focus on the significance of early identification of fault-prone components within a system and importance of the fault-prone components-based testing. From the survey results, it has been inferred that, fault-prone components can be identified using software models, formal specifications and appropriate metrics and measures; which would, in turn, reduce the cost of defect and testing. Furthermore, the present study endeavours to investigate as to how far research efforts are essential in providing guidelines in the adoption of fault-prone components-based development, thus improving the quality of software development.

WHEN the Study was first projected, its content was a major theme of discussion. It is of interest that the Study Committee unanimously gave children's dental care a high priority among the items for examination. This decision was significant because pediatricians and general practitioners as a group are not particularly interested or wellinformed in this area of medicine. It may have been their very lack of dental knowledge which promoted this part of the Study. The question might be asked, "Is the over-all health of children correlated in any way with the condition of their teeth?" In one of the state reports, a correlation was made between the quality of medical services and dental facilities but this does not answer the question of the true relationship between dental health and over-all health. However, the Committee felt that dental health is generally accepted as an important item in a health program for children. Although the exact cause of tooth decay is not yet determined, it is known that restoration of cavities prolongs the life of the tooth. Areas of Need The findings of the Study do not tell precisely how much dental care is actually required by children in various sections and communities in the country. However, even without exact information on the amount of dental care needed, it is evident that at present not even a minimal amount of dental service can be offered to every child in the United States. The study of dental facilities for children shows that even states and counties which have the highest service ratings are unable to provide adequately for their entire child population.

Objectives The poor oral health of Australians experiencing homelessness negatively affects their quality of life. Better oral health is associated with having annual dental check-ups. Because there is limited peer-reviewed literature describing strategies that improve access to and uptake of dental care by homeless people, in this study we searched the grey literature to discover what strategies are used. Methods The Informit database and Google and Bing search engines were searched using the keywords ‘homeless and oral and dental services’. Bing and Google were searched unrestricted by site and Google was searched for sites ending in ‘org.au’. Searches were restricted to Australia from June 2008 to June 2018. The first 300 websites were read, and those describing or linking to pages describing a strategy that improved access to or uptake of dental care were included in the study. The content of the webpages was evaluated and summarised, with common strategies reported as a narrative description. Results Nineteen programs were described. Common strategies were providing free care, in-reach care, outreach care and the need to work closely with support organisations. Conclusions To improve access to and uptake of dental care by people experiencing homelessness, dental services need to be free and organised in collaboration with support organisations. What is known about the topic? The peer-reviewed literature describing strategies used to improve access to and uptake of dental care by people experiencing homelessness in Australia is limited. The authors could only locate two such studies, one based in Melbourne and one in Brisbane. Both programs had a similar aim, but used different strategies to achieve it, suggesting a lack of consensus about the best way to encourage dental visiting by people experiencing homelessness. What does this paper add? This paper used the grey literature to describe common strategies used in Australia to improve access to and uptake of dental care by people experiencing homelessness. What are the implications for practitioners? Dental service providers aiming to increase access to and uptake of dental care by people experiencing homelessness need to work collaboratively with support organisations and provide care free of charge.
