Indonesia is strongly built by the nation's next generation of powerfull and robust which is in the hands of early childhood. So to create the next generation a strong responsibility to be educated not only on formal institutional agencies. But the "home" is then termed "family" as an institution and the first main roles and functions that are crucial in the process of planting and establishment of the national character. Through character building in a family that includes aspects of maternal bonding, security compliance and fulfillment of physical and mental stimulation, as well as the implementation of appropriate parenting on children will build the next generation of Indonesian nation strong and resilient in facing the challenges of globalization in the future.

Activating the national character of the nation’s generation from an early age in an are that is developing so rapidly is a prosess that requires seriousness and collective awareness. Characrter education is a part that must be built since early childhood, this period is a golden age for children to be given a stimulus in coaching, learning, understanding and character building which will later become the main capital for them in the future. Children are the next generation who will fight for and defend their nation, thus of course it is very important for all elements of society to be responsible for creating a generation of hope for a nation with quality and character.            The creation of a superior generation that will be able to build an advanced civilization is certainly not an easy thing. It takes seriousness and consistency in supporting the educational prosess that will be given to the nation’s generation. The prosess of early childhood education must be developed and planned with a good planned, good organized pattern of education. The educational prosess obtained by the nation’s generation is of course a prosess that runs continuously and continues until the child is an adult, the prosess of shaping the future of the nation will certainly require time and an interrelated struggle between elements of society. Collective awareness and high willingness will help facilitate the educational prosess of children as the nation’s future generations.

ABSTRAK Pendidikan membangun karakter merupakan proses panjang yang harus dimulai sejak masa kelahiran anak walaupun baru dirasakan dampaknya setelah anak-anak tersebut tumbuh dewasa. Pendidikan karakter sejak dini merupakan pondasi awal dalam membentuk karakter di masa mendatang. Sikap bersahaja harus ditanamkan pada anak mulai sejak dini karena untuk memilah dan memilih antara apa yang dibutuhkan dan tidak dibutuhkan. Hidup bersahaja banyak memberi manfaat bagi kehidupan karena dapat memperteguh hati untuk selalu bersyukur atas apa yang Allah berikan dan hidup akan lebih berarti bagi sesama. Salah satu membiasakan anak usia dini bersahaja yaitu dengan cara menabung. Menabung berarti menyisihkan sebagian uang yang dimiliki untuk disimpan dalam jangka waktu tertentu. tujuan orang-orang dalam menabung pada umumnya sangatlah berbeda-beda tapi intinya adalah untuk memenuhi ekspektasi atau harapan di masa depan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, maka penelitian yang berupa kata-kata dan gambar dalam pengumpulan data-data, data tersebut mengandung makna yakni makna yang sebenarnya atau suatu nilai yang baik. Menanamkan sikap bersahaja pada anak usia dini dengan cara pembiasaan menabung.   Kata Kunci : anak usia dini, sikap bersahaja, pembiasaan menabung     ABSTRACT Character building education is a long process that must be started from childbirth even when it is felt after the children grow up. Early character education is an early foundation for character building in the future. Simple attitudes should be instilled in children starting early because to sort and choose between what is needed and not needed. Simple life provides many benefits for life because it can strengthen the heart to always be grateful for what God gives and life will be more meaningful to others. One of the habitual early childhood that is by way of saving. Saving means setting aside some of the money held for a certain period of time. the purpose of the people in saving in general is very different but the point is to meet expectations or expectations in the future. By using qualitative methods, the research in the form of words and images in the collection of data, the data contains the meaning of the true meaning or a good value. Embedding a simple attitude in early childhood by way of saving habituation.   Keywords: early childhood, modesty, saving habits

Abstrak Generasi penerus bangsa wajib memiliki karakter kebangsaan yang akan menjadi tumpuan bagi kelangsungan bangsanya. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan melakukan internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter warga negara yang baik. Transmisi nilai-nilai karakter warga negara yang baik bisa dilakukan melalui pendidikan. Artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana KH. Bisri Musthofa menanamkan semangat dan nilai-nilai kebangsaan kepada generasi penerus melalui dua kitabnya, Syiir Ngudi Susila dan Syiir Mitra Sejati. Dalam kitab Syiir Ngudi Susila, KH. Bisri Mustofa mengajarkan agar seorang anak memiliki fondasi karakter pribadi yang kuat sebelum mengemban amanah yang besar di masa depan. Sedangkan dalam kitab Syiir Mitra Sejati, KH. Bisri Musthofa mengajarkan prinsip-prinsip penting dalam menjadi pribadi yang baik dalam lingkungan keluarga, sosial, masyarakat, hingga menjadi warga negara yang baik secara lebih detil dan mendalam. Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, warganegara, Syiir Ngudi Susila, Syiir Mitra Sejati, Bisri Musthofa   Abstract The nation's successor must have a national character that will be the foundation for the continuity of the nation. Transmission of the values of the character of a good citizen can be done through education. This article examines how KH. Bisri Musthofa instilled the spirit and values of the nation to the next generation through his two books, Syiir Ngudi Susila and Syiir Mitra Sejati. In the Syriir Ngudi Susila, KH. Bisri Mustofa teaches that a child has a strong foundation of personal character before carrying out a big mandate in the future. While in Syiir Mitra Sejati, KH. Bisri Musthofa teaches important principles in becoming a good person in the family, social, community, to being a good citizen in more detail and depth.  The formation of a person's character is determined in the treatment at an early age. The cultivation of moral and religious values needs to be instilled early on to get a generation of character. The important thing that should get attention is the enhancement of moral and religious values in children. Qualitative description research is used in this study. To analyze the character of children obtained through observation, interviews, and communication with students, teachers, and parents. The results of the study show that children of early age (5-6 years) in Daarul Jannah Kindergarten show positive responses to the character of children in carrying out moral and religious values in the school and home environment and the future, it is expected that children have a strong personality and good characterKeywords: Early childhood, Character Building, Moral Values, Religion. AbstrakPembentukan karakter sesorang ditentukan pada perlakukan pada masa usia dini. Penanaman nilai-nilai moral dan agama perlu ditanamkan sejak dini untuk mendapatkan generasi berkarakter. Hal penting yang harus mendapatkan perhatian adalah penaman nilai moral dan agama pada anak. Penelitian diskriptik analitik kualitatif digunakan dalam studi ini. Untuk menganalisa karakter anak diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan komunikasi terhadap siswa , guru dan orang tua. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan anak usia Dini ( 5-6 tahun) di TK Daarul Jannah menunjukan respon positif terhadap karakter anak dalam menjalankan nilai-nilai moral dan agama di lingkungan sekolah maupun rumah dan dimasa mendatang diharapkan anak memiliki kepribadian yang kokoh dan berkarakter baik.Kata Kunci : Anak Usia Dini, Pembentukan Karakter, Nilai Moral, Agama.

This paper discusses the importance of the students ‘character building in the level of primary school/Islamic elementary school to face the globalization and information era. Education is the process of determining the nation’s character. Good or bad character of the nation in the future will be determined by the present quality of education. Building the character through Tahfidzul Quran learning approach is expected to be the main foundation to improve the degree and prestige of learners as the asset of the nation. This study aimed to describe the process of Tahfidzul Quran learning which included planning, organizing, doing action and monitoring the important role of learning itself to build the learners’ character, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Istiqomah Sambas Purbalingga.
