CONCEPTUAL PRINCIPLES OF SUSTAINABLE INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS AND HEALTH SPHERE OF THE REGION

Purpose. The aim of the article is scientific substantiation of the new concept of development of the sports and health sphere of the region, which is based on the observance of the principles of inclusive growth and achievement of the SDGs. Methodology of research. In the course of the research, the methods generally accepted in economics were used: monographic, system and structural, which were used in the development of the concept of sustainable inclusive development of the sports and health sphere of the region in the conditions of decentralization. Findings. It is determined that sustainable development and inclusive growth today are the newest models of social and economic growth, recognized by the world community. Taking into account this, and taking into account the processes of decentralization of management in Ukraine, the concept of sustainable inclusive development of the sports and health sphere of the region adapted to the new conditions is proposed. The goals of sustainable development are revealed, the achievement of which is influenced by the state and development of the sports and health sphere. The essence of inclusive growth is determined and the principles of inclusive development of the sports and health sphere of the region are singled out. Following the defined goals of sustainable development, the tasks of development of the sports and health sphere of the region are highlighted and the ways of their achievement are suggested. The basic conceptual idea of sustainable inclusive development of the sports and health sphere of the region is formed; the purposes, tasks, and ways of its realization are defined. The implementation of the proposed concept is outlined, and the impact of the development of sports and health in the region on improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of the community is substantiated. Originality. The concept of sustainable inclusive development of the sports and health sphere of the region is substantiated on the basis of its adaptation to the conditions of decentralization and introduction of the principles of inclusive growth and achievement of sustainable development goals to increase employment, spread a healthy lifestyle, expand opportunities to meet equal needs of the sport and health services. Practical value. The obtained results of the study are the basis for solving practical problems of sustainable inclusive development of sports and recreation in the regions of Ukraine under decentralization. As there is a growing trend for people to work from home, precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, this research examines the impact of blurred work-life boundaries on lifestyle and subjective well-being. Our cross-sectional study in the Netherlands demonstrates that heightened levels of blurred work-life boundaries predict negative changes in happiness through enhanced emotional exhaustion. In addition, the findings point to a dual role of lifestyle in this process. On the one hand, we observed that healthy overall lifestyle patterns buffered employees against the detrimental effects of blurred work-life boundaries and emotional exhaustion on happiness. On the other hand, employees who experienced increases in blurring of work-life boundaries reported a deterioration in healthy lifestyle behaviors, which in turn was related to reduced happiness. Paradoxically, it seems that those who would benefit the most from a healthy lifestyle are less able to sustain health-promoting behaviors. A case for shared responsibility between employers and employees is built as we discuss the practical implications of the current research.

Significant imbalances of existing development models are demonstrated by global economic growth, and outlines the need to move to a new more flexible and balanced model that is able to maintain the declared high and long-term growth rates together with the preservation of social equality and population general welfare. The purpose of the study is to identify EU comprehensive growth opportunities through of EU flagship initiatives achievement current EU situation in the field of poverty, unemployment, youth and women's unemployment and their involvement as labor force geographical aspects analysis; current state and prospects of EU inclusive development analysis; possibility of the sustainable development goals and inclusive growth based on the EU's flagship initiatives achievement substantiation. The object of the study is the process of inclusive economic growth within the EU through the EU flagship initiatives practical implementation. It is determined that along with traditional economic growth indicators it is necessary to take into account the human capital equality, ecological state of the environment, social protection, food security and social cohesion. Imperative knowledge on the interconnection of EU policy priorities and flagship initiatives, sustainable development goals and their compliance with inclusive economic development are systematized. The expediency of European inclusive economic growth model, declared in the “Europe 2020” strategy, design and implementation was grounded. Modern trends and geographical aspects of state of unemployment and poverty in the European region countries is determined. The level of women's participation in the European economy is analyzed. The level of women employment in comparison with men in the EU countries is analyzed, which made it possible to determine that this indicator is consistently lower, however, there is no significant disparity in most member states. It is substantiated that at the new cross-border economic order conditions, proposed by the EU, inclusive growth allows all member countries enjoy the progressive results of the union, economic integration and economic growth. The article examines the role and nature of the impact of the urbanization process and, in particular, the development of megacities in sustainable development of territories in the context of the aims set out by «Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development» adopted by the member States of the UN on 25 September 2015.We highlighted both positive and negative aspects of the impact of large urban agglomerations on the achievement of prosperity in their regions and in the global community as a whole. The interregional comparison of the subjects of the Russian Federation with million-plus cities as regional centers was carried out in order to identify common features and patterns of territorial development.

Abstract The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) developed by the United Nations in 2015 are global benchmarks for all countries to meet by 2030 to ensure well-being and prosperity while protecting and promoting human rights and freedoms. The underlying pledge is that no one will be left behind Globally, older adults are one of the most vulnerable populations, suffering from poverty and poor health and little social protection. Social workers can play key roles in assuring that the concerns and interests and rights of older adults are recognized in the SDGs and in the policies developed to meet them. This paper focuses on 6 of the SDG’s that are most pertinent to the status and inclusion of older people and the implications they have for specific social work involvement.

During the end of the 20th century and beginning of 21st century, there is a trend to evaluating the actions undertaken to improve the socio-economic environment in which we live, to achieve a greater level of wellbeing for all citizens. In the context of Stakeholder Theory, considering an organization should always operate towards creating positive value for society, the creation of the UN Global Compact and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals created a shift in many regions. The present study evaluates this context and how the implementation of circular economy policies has affected the achievement of SDGs in Spain. Specifically, the role of different private and public agents is evaluated in the tire manufacturing industry and the impact in each of the SDGs. Results show positive results as well as areas of improvement to further improve the roadmap towards achieving the 17 SDGs.

It is widely recognized that achieving a highly productive economy in the context of sustainable development is one of the urgent tasks of every country. This article identifies the relationship between productive employment and inclusive development. According to the concept of inclusive growth, the well-being of society is a multidimensional concept, the level of which should not be measured only by real GDP and sustainable growth rates of material income of the population. Over time, the inclusive growth index will dominate the system of indicators for assessing economic development of countries, as it includes not only the economic component of sustainable development, but also the social and environmental environment.

This chapter reviews the current debates on the role of work and working conditions in the discourse on international development and explores the impact of vulnerable work and poor psychosocial working conditions on health. The launch of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 is a welcome addition in the fight to secure decent work and ensure health and well-being in developing countries. For decades research from Europe and North America has consistently shown that being exposed to poor psychosocial working conditions, such as not having sufficient control to meet the demands at work or being inadequately rewarded for one's efforts, can have serious negative health consequences. The extent of poor working conditions in these countries today demonstrates just how big a task the UN and associated agencies face in tackling this issue. This in turn raises the question of how Sustainable Development Goal 8, of ensuring decent work for all, will be realised.
