The purpose of this research to know: 1.  The description of leverage, activity and profitability at PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 2. What factors are cause profitability at PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange tend to decline.   This research was conducted using Qualitative Descriptive Analysis and Inductive Analysis. This research was conducted based on secondary data from company financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange.        The results of the study can be concluded that: 1. Leverage as measured by Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) fluctuates and tends to increase. 2. Activities measured by Working Capital Turnover (WCT) fluctuate and tend to increase. 3. Profitability as measured by fluctuating Return On Assets (ROA) tends to decrease. 4. Factors that cause decreased profitability are increased business debt, increased inventory and increased cost of goods sold so that the resulting profit decreases.            The results of the study suggest: 1. It is best if the company needs to review the use of corporate debt in financing its activities by carrying out control of accounts receivable and strict supervision and evaluation periodically, so that the risk of such debts can be minimized. 2. It is better for the company to pay more attention to the management of supplies effectively and efficiently so as to produce increased sales. Effective inventory management also needs to pay attention to inventory storage so as not to overload, both obsolete inventory and unsold inventory. 3. It is better for the company to pay more attention to using its assets to generate high sales accompanied by an increase in profit after tax owned by the company to produce good profits. On the other hand the company must also consider the level of operating expenses so as not to over-pressure profits. Keywords: Leverage, Activity, and Profitability

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine whether working capital variables, size, and capital structure affect the return on assets. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in various sub-sectors proposed in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data from the company's annual financial statements as a sample that is used and processed using SPSS 16.00. This research uses the classic assumption test and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show how working capital (ratio using current ratio, accounts receivable turnover, and net working capital), size, and capital structure (tested using a debt to equity ratio) are considered to compare asset returns.Keywords: working capital, size, capital structure, return on assets ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah variabel modal kerja, ukuran, dan struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur di berbagai sub sektor yang diusulkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sebagai sampel yang digunakan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 16.00. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana modal kerja (rasio menggunakan rasio lancar, perputaran piutang, dan modal kerja bersih), ukuran, dan struktur modal (diuji menggunakan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas) dipertimbangkan untuk membandingkan pengembalian aset.Kata kunci: modal kerja, ukuran, struktur modal, return on assets

The purpose of this study are: 1. To find out an overview of liquidity, solvency, dividend policy and company value in PT Kabelindo Murni, Tbk, which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 2. To find out what factors cause company value in PT Kabelindo Murni, Tbk to increase.               The author's research was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, comparative analysis techniques and inductive analysis techniques. The type of data in the study are qualitative data and quantitative data. The data source used is secondary data. Data collection in research is documentation techniques.               The results of this study concluded 1. The average value of liquidity with the parameter Current Ratio (CR) fluctuates and tends to increase, but the increase in current assets was followed by an analysis with a decrease in the value of current liabilities. 2. The average solvency value with the parameters Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) fluctuates and tends to decrease, this is due to a decrease in debt which is higher than the decrease in the total assets of the company. 3. Dividend Policy (DPR) experienced fluctuations and tended to increase. This was caused by an increase in dividends per share while there was a decrease in earnings per share. 4. The company value with PBV parameters fluctuates and tends to increase, this is due to an increase in stock prices higher than the increase in book value per share.               Suggestions for this research are: It is better for companies to add working capital by making long-term debt to buy inventory that can increase sales, it is best for companies to increase sales and reduce operating expenses so that profits can increase and increasing profits can increase EPS so that the DPR can be controlled, it is best for companies to increase profits by increasing sales and streamlining operating expenses. The objective of this research is to examine factors affecting return on assets such as cash turnover and account receivable turnover of food and beverage firm listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Source of data used in this study is financial statements as secondary data based on purposive sampling technique. The results showed that cash turnover does not significantly influence return on assets, this is because the value of t count is 0.558 greater than t table 2.030 so that H0 is rejected. And then, account receivable turnover significantly influence return on assets, this is based on the value of t count 5.659 is greater than t table 2.030 so H0 is accepted. And the last, The output of ANOVA results shows that the F count obtained from the variable cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover is 16.016 greater than F table 2.830 so that H0 is accepted. These results mean that there is a significant influence between cash turnover and receivable turnover on profitability in food and beverages companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. Based on the results, we can conclude that partially account receivable turnover was factor affecting return on assets and simultaneously cash turnover and account receivable turnover affect return on assets.

In this study, the author proposes to evaluate the effect of sales growth, Receivable Turnover and operating cash flow on the liquidity of PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. In this statement, the population used in this study is the financial statement data from PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc. from 2010 to 2018, the technique of determining the sampling uses Purposive Sampling. This research data uses secondary data from PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc financial statements from 2010 to 2018. All data sources were obtained from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange at https://www.idx.co.id, the company's website and Google search. Our analysis reveals that sales growth and accounts receivable turnover from PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc. has no influence on the liquidity of PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc, while operating cash flow has an influence on the Liquidity of PT Unilever Indonesia Plc. This means the ups and downs of the value of sales and accounts receivable turnover of a company has no influence on the liquidity of PT. Unilever Indonesia Plc, while operating cash flow has increased or decreased has an influence on the liquidity of PT Unilever Indonesia Plc. The value of sales growth, accounts receivable turnover and operating cash flow can explain the liquidity of PT Unilever Indonesia Plc. by 78%, while 22% is explained by other factors which are not included in this study.

The purpose of the research is to analyze the Influence of Cash Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio and Return On Assets to Stock Return With Exchange Rate as Moderating Variables In Plantation Companies Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses descriptive analysis and statistical analysis methods. data that uses secondary data. This study focuses on the influence of 3 independent variables on the dependent variable by adding moderation variables to determine whether the moderating variable can affect the relationship between the independent variables on the dependent variable. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the F test and t test, with a brief significance level (a) 5%. This data analysis uses SPSS 20 data processing software for Windows. The population of this study is companies engaged in the plantation sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014 - 2018, with a purposive sampling technique, obtained 6 companies that have fullfill criteria in this research. The results of this study partially Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Return On Assets have a significant effect on stock returns, partially Debt to Equity Ratio and Return On Assets have a significant positive effect on stock returns, while Cash Ratio has no significant effect on stock returns. and the value is not able to affect the relationship between independent variable and dependent variable.

This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Total Assets (DAR), and Corporate Governance (CG) on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period. Corporate Governance is proxied by the Composition of the Independent Commissioner, and Tax Avoidance is proxied by the Effective Tax Rate (ETR). The population in this study were 179 companies listed on the IDX. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique and the research sample was obtained as many as 60 companies. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data analysis used is descriptive analysis followed by the requirements test including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The statistical method used to analyze the data uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Return on Assets (ROA) had a significant negative effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, Debt to Total Assets (DAR) and Corporate Governance (CG), which are proxied by the composition of the independent board of commissioners, have no effect on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period.

<p class="Style4">The implementation of working capital strategy of successful compa­nies could be observed from its cash conversion cycle. Effective working capi­tal strategy will lead to an increasing to an increase of a firm's value. This thesis has two objectives : Firstly, it analyse the interrelationships between the merchandising ratio with the return on assets ratio and the long-term debt to total assets ratio. These two ratios have the ability to check the effectiveness of a firm's working capital management. Secondly, it analyse the effective of the firm's management of cash, receivable, inventory and payables.</p><p class="Style4">The writer is using the descriptive analysis method which describe the retail firm's working capital strategy from the financial statement information, and the correlation analysis method that detects the correlation between the merchandising ratio and the traditional ratio.</p><p>The analysis shows that PT Hero Supermarket, PT Matahari Putra Prima and PT Ma Retailindo have good and <em>effective </em>working capital strategy. The merchandising ratio has positive correlation with the return on assets ratio and negative correlation with the debt to total assets ratio.</p><p class="Style1">The purpose of this research is to prove the effectiveness in using the cash conversion cycle strategy. PT Hero Supermarket, PT Matahari Putra Prima and PT Alfa Retailindo should emphasize on their inventory management so that the percentage of sales growth is accompled by an equivalent increase in its inventory. Apart from that, these compa Iles should focus on their payables management by maximize the debt benefit.</p><p class="Style1">Crucial terms: working capital strategy, merchandising ratio and cash conversion cycle.</p>

We examine the impact of efficient working capital management on market value and profitability. Using secondary data on selected firms from Dhaka Stock Exchange we explore the effects of various working capital components (i.e. cash conversion cycle (CCC), current ratio (CR), current asset to total asset ratio (CATAR), current liabilities to total asset ratio (CLTAR), debt to asset ratio (DTAR), siz,e and growth) to the firm’s performance by looking firm’s value i.e. Tobin’s Q (TQ) and profitability i.e. return on asset (ROA) and return on invested capital (ROIC). Our results show that, for both food and overall manufacturing sectors, there is a significant association between working capital variables and firm’s value & return on assets, but an insignificant association with return on invested capital.

The main attraction for owners of company shareholders lies in the profitability ratio that shows the results of the management of the company's management of the funds invested. This study aims to determine: The Effect of Working Capital, Liquidity and Solvency on the Profitability of PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk, both partially and simultaneously. Descriptive quantitative research methods, the data used are secondary data in the form of financial statements of PT. Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk, for a period of 9 years from 20010 - 2018 obtained through the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). The analytical method used is the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis results obtained the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.928 or equal to 92.8%, which means that the contribution made by working capital, liquidity and solvency to profitability reaches 92.8.3% the remaining 7.2% is influenced by other variables which is not researched. Based on the t test partially working capital on profitability there is an effect where tcount -5.847> t table 2.575 and significance value 0.02 <0.05 and partially liquidity on profitability has no effect where tcount 1.846 <t table 2.575 and significance value 0.124> 0.05 and partially solvency to profitability there is the influence of tcount -3.386> ttable 2.575 and significance value 0.02 <0.05 based on the f test simultaneously working capital, liquidity and solvency affect the profitability where Fcount 21.477> Ftable 5.41 with a significant value of 0.003 <0.05

Islamic stocks is one of the most preffered investment type by Muslim investors. In the decision making process, the investors have to considered the financial reports and stock analysis. This study aims to investigate the effect of fundamental factors that represented by Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio and Total Assets Turnover toward stock return.This study used a quantitative approach using secondary data, they are financial statements and stock return companies listed on Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia years 2011-2012. This study used a significance level of 5%.Based on the regression analysis results, it indicates that Return on Assets variable has a very significant effect on the stock return. On the other hand, Debt to Equity Ratio variable and Total Assets Turnover variable do not have significant effect to the stock return. Simultaneously, Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio and Total Assets Turnover have significant effect to stock return.
