The article presents the study results of the anaerobic materials effect on the strength of threaded connections in the repair of machinery and equipment. Their use is the simplest, most economical and reliable method of fixing and restoring threaded connections. The basis of the anaerobic compositions is polymerization compounds of the acrylic series, most often dimethacrylic and polyalkylene glycol ethers, which are characterized by a high conversion rate into spatially cross-linked polymers. Unlike mechanical methods of fixation and recovery, anaerobic materials completely fill the space between the threads of the spiral. This significantly increases the friction between the parts of the connection, improves the protection of the metal of the interface against corrosion, increases the torque when unscrewing in relation to the tightening torque, increases the resistance of the connection to the action of vibration, shock, shock loads. For the research, anaerobic thread locks were purchased, which were tested according to the same procedure and, after 24 hours at room temperature, each connection was clamped in a vice in turn so that the head of the torque wrench captures only the top nut, which had to be unscrewed. The rate of hardening of anaerobic adhesives is influenced by the size of the gaps between the combined surfaces, temperature, cleaning quality, the nature of the coating, etc. It has been established that the presence of polymerized anaerobic materials in the contact zone of parts significantly increases the strength of the joints. The conducted studies allowed to verify in practice the conformity of the tested anaerobic clamps of threaded connections to the stated parameters, to delineate the scope of their application. So, anaerobic adhesives for fixing threaded connections allow you to fix screws, nuts, bolts and pins to protect against loosening and loosening due to vibration

NiZn-ferrite thin films were deposited onto silicon and glass substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering at room temperature. The effects of the relative oxygen flow ratio on the structure and magnetic properties of the thin films were investigated. The study results reveal that the films deposited under higher relative oxygen flow ratio show a better crystallinity. Static magnetic measurement results indicated that the saturation magnetization of the films was greatly affected by the crystallinity, grain dimension, and cation distribution in the NiZn-ferrite films. The NiZn-ferrite thin films with a maximum saturation magnetization of 151 emucm-3, which is about 40% of the bulk NiZn ferrite, was obtained under relative oxygen flow ratio of 60%.

The use of IoT devices for building heating systems opens the possibility of collecting a large amount of various data about room temperature conditions. At the level of individual rooms, there are factors that can have a significant effect on the temperature conditions, the measurement of which involves difficulties. As a consequence, the models of room temperature conditions are identified incorrectly. In view of this circumstance, the consideration of unknown disturbances becomes of issue. A method to identify the building room temperature conditions is proposed that allows unknown disturbing inputs in dynamic systems to be taken into account. The unknown disturbance action time is described using indicator functions. The indicator function time characteristics are identified using neural LSTM networks by solving the problem of performing binary classification of whether the measured data sample time tags belong to unknown disturbances. The sequence in which unknown disturbances are taken into account in the model is found by sorting the evaluated degree to which the time tags belong to the onset of a certain unknown disturbance that is obtained by solving the binary classification problem. The application of the proposed approach is illustrated on the temperature conditions identification problem using test data with two samples of unknown disturbances with random action degree and time. The study results demonstrate correctness of the proposed approach, the use of which makes it possible to more accurately identify the static and dynamic parameters of system models under the effect of unknown disturbances.

ABSTRACTConsiderable mechanical and environmental reliability testing as defined by MIL-STD-883 has been performed on GE HDI modules in both hermetic and nonhermetic configurations. The tests involving temperature cycling, temperature bakes, thermal shock, power cycling by self-heating, vibration, centrifuge and drop shock showed no change in the overlay or in the performance of the underlaying chips on the substrate. As an additional reliability test, the effect of humidity cycling (45° - 95° relative humidity) on nonhermetic HDI substrates has been also investigated. Any noticeable failures and degradation of metallization were not observed by humidity cycling itself at room temperature. Both the 883 and humidity cycling test could lead to the conclusion that HDI is a robust MCM-D technology. In addition, extensive studies on the residual stress analysis of the thin film layers of metal and polymer during fabrication and thermal cycling have been performed using the Flexus laser beam bending instrument. The study results predicted that failure of overlay HDI such as delamination between layers is less likely because of lower in-plane stresses than in conventional spin-coated and cured polyimide.

AbstractCurrently over then 16 percent of the total worldwide salt production is excavated in underground mines. Salt deposits often lie at great depths up to 1000 m, where the temperature of the surrounding rocks reaches 50°C and even exceeds it. A large part of it is exploited using mechanical methods, mainly with the use of road headers and continuous miners. When excavating salt rock, the cutters of the road header mining head come into contact with the rock. This generate friction and in consequence a rise in temperature. In AGH University of Science and Technology the laboratory tests were carried out to determine the effect of temperature on cutting resistance and selected mechanical properties of rock salt. On the special laboratory test stand the rock salt sample was cutted at three different temperatures - 20, 50 and 80°C. The cuttability index and the side chipping angle were measured for each temperature. Additionally the same tests were performed in the case of salt sample after cooling to room temperature. The selected mechanical parameters of rock salt - compressive, tensile and shear strength were also measured for the same temperature values. The obtained results were compared and described in the paper.

Background: Olmesartan medoxomil (OLM) is only available in the United States as tablets. The United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) has placed OLM on its priority list of preparations that require stability data to support practitioner compounding. Objective: The purpose of the study was to develop a stability-indicating assay and then determine the beyond-use date (BUD) for an extemporaneous OLM suspension. Methods: A reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) assay was developed and validated according to guidelines for USP official compounded monographs. OLM 2 mg/mL suspensions were compounded with Ora-Sweet and Ora-Plus and stored at room temperature or in a refrigerator. Suspensions were assayed periodically over 90 days for OLM concentration and observed for physical stability. The pH was measured at the beginning and end of the study. Results: The OLM concentration remained above 97% of the starting concentration for 90 days when stored in the refrigerator and above 94% of the starting concentration for 90 days when stored at room temperature. The suspension pH did not change and indicators of physical stability were unchanged for 90 days. Conclusion: OLM 2 mg/mL suspensions were chemically and physically stable at room temperature and in the refrigerator for 90 days. The BUD may be set at 90 days under either storage condition.

We have developed a completely unique and reliable HPLC technique for simultaneous quantification of Cisplatin and Topotecan. A chromatographic detachment was attained on a XDB C18 column (150x4.6mm, 3.5 µ) using isocratic elution with a buffer containing buffer and acetonitrile with the proportion of 60:40 as a movable phase with a flow of 1 mL/min at room temperature and UV detection was carried out at 262 nm. Dissolve 1mL of triethylamine in 1 lt of HPLC grade water and filter through 0.45 µ filter paper. This solution was used as a buffer. 10 min run time was used to separate Cisplatin and Topotecan. The analysis was achieved within 15 min over honest linearity within the concentration range from 5-75 µg/mL of Cisplatin and 2-30 µg/mL of Topotecan. By injecting the standard six times, system suitability parameters were studied and the outcomes were under the acceptable limit. Precision and recovery study results were found to be within a suitable limit. By using the above technique, the assay of the marketed formulation was performed and found to be within the limit. Degradation studies were carried out on Cisplatin and Topotecan, with a purity threshold greater than the purity angle in all conditions and within the acceptable range. The above-mentioned technique was validated according to ICH guidelines.
