The article provides a comparative analysis of the influence of L.N. Tolstoy and I.I. Sergiev (John of Kronstadt) on the formation of personal worldview in Russian society. The analysis is based on the testimonies of the contemporaries and the previously not reissued publication of “Novy Put” (“New Way”) journal on the subject. In the context of the declared problematics, special attention is paid to the question of transformation of religious consciousness in the course of the personality formation in relation to the period under consideration (the beginning of the 20th century). The author reveals and analyzes the main components of the life stand of Tolstoy and Father John of Kronstadt in the context of their influence on contemporaries. The results of the study allow to reveal the following antitheses that characterize Tolstoy and John of Kronstadt, respectively: doubt - faith, search for oneself – following the once chosen path, preaching of non-resistance as part of the philosophy of not-doing (not doing evil) – preaching of active upholding of faith (doing good), “simple living” – real life with and for common people.

The study carried out a comparative analysis of the effect of 24 epibrassinolide (EB) and 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) on the growth and state of the main components of the glutathione system in the roots of wheat seedlings under the action of 2% NaCl, which for the first time revealed the ability of these phytohormones to similarly stabilize stress-induced decrease GSH / GSSG ratio, positively regulate the activity of glutathione reductase and glutathione-S-transferase. A comparable level of protective effect of BAP and EB on root length was revealed. The data obtained indicate that endogenous cytokinins may play the role of hormonal intermediates in the implementation of the protective.

This article describes ways of using various types of honey in the history of medicine as well as its current stage of development. The authors consider the main components of different types of honey and the national standards of naturally sourced honey. An analysis of research papers on medical uses of honey has been performed, as well as a comparative analysis of recent honey-based medicines available in the pharmaceutical market. On the basis of collected data, some possible prospects for further use of honey in medicine have been outlined.

Safety and functionality of concrete road bridges are of a special importance for the traffic flow continuity in different circumstances including after earthquakes, floods, as well as after vessel or vehicle impact on piers. This is why almost all countries use Bridge Management Systems (BMS). They include the bridge inspection manuals, guidelines, report writing, bridge condition evaluation and determination of priorities (rating) for maintenance work or rehabilitation to achieve the design service life of bridges. This paper presents a comparative analysis of some documents of certain countries and associations, related to BMSs and their main components.

Motorcycle fender is one of the main components of motorcycle,fender structure directly affected it's comfort and security properties.In this paper, the finite element modeling and dynamic response were analyzed using NX 8.0, and found its natural frequencies and mode shapes. On the basis of the fender structure modeling on different road with the same speed, this paper investigated the several factors affect the vibration motorcycle and analyzed true fender of the motorcycle and did comparative analysis with the modal analysis results. A comparative analysis of policies in the field of intellectual property (IP) of universities in leading European countries: Switzerland, the UK and the Netherlands. As a result of the comparison, the main components of these policies are identified as a single document: the purpose of the policy, the procedure for determining copyright holders, students' rights to IP, material incentives for using IP, and responsible structures. The policy of each university takes into account the features and traditions of its activities. It was revealed that each university has its own approach to material incentives for the creation and use of IP. The conditions are established under which the university does not claim to IP created by students. It is concluded that it is advisable to develop similar IP policies for Belarusian universities.

The aim of this work is to reduce the cost of the heat pump heating system by using a solar collector in the primary circuit of the heat pump. It is known that the price of material and installation of the primary circuit collector is 30% of the total cost of the heat pump heating system. The use of a solar collector in the primary circuit of a heat pump eliminates the need for drilling or underground installation of a low-potential thermal energy collector. The rejection of the classic types of collectors: horizontal collectors and vertical probes, also has a positive environmental effect on the soil. The combined use of a solar collector and a heat pump will add variability in the layout of the heat pump heating system. The article presents the results of a theoretical study of the feasibility of operating solar collectors at the latitudes of the Republic of Tatarstan. A comparative analysis of various types of heat pump and solar collector is given, based on which the main components of the combined system were selected. The work includes calculations of the required power and surface area of the absorption of the solar collector. The results of a comparative analysis of the performance of the solar collector are presented, depending on the angle of incidence of sunlight and the average level of insolation. As a result of the work, it was determined that the use of a solar collector in the primary circuit of a heat pump will be twice cheaper compared to horizontal collectors and 4 times compared to vertical probes.

The article deals with the problem of the competency building approach implementation in the system of higher education of Ukraine. Its methodological imperfection is noted, and the initial algorithm to improve the providing of such an approach is proposed. A comparative analysis of the concepts "competency" and "competence" is presented. The main components of the future economists' legal competency are investigated. The conceptual framework of competent training are analyzed and the main approaches to future economists' legal training are substantiated. A comparative analysis of the camera eyes of gastropod pulmonate molluscs Cepaea nemoralis and Cepaea hortensis was carried out on the basis of original and published data. It was demonstrated that the eyeballs and their main components in C. nemoralis and C. hortensis have more similarities in morphological and optical properties than in anatomical parameters.
