The necessity of studying the influence of the transformation of the frequency mismatch function of a coherent bundle of radio pulses on the quality of solving the radar frequency resolution problem is substantiated. This solution determines the effectiveness of radar observation of high-speed and maneuvering individual and group aerodynamic objects. The method is based on explicit expressions for calculating the normalized frequency mismatch function of a coherent bundle of radio pulses, taking into account its transformation due to the radial motion of high-speed and maneuvering individual and group aerodynamic objects. The estimation of the potential frequency resolution of bundles with different numbers of radio pulses with typical parameters for a coherent pulse radar is carried out. Possible values of frequency resolution under the additive effect of uncorrelated internal noise of the radar receiver and the multiplicative effect of correlated phase fluctuations of the radar signal are estimated. With an insignificant multiplicative effect of correlated phase fluctuations, a twofold increase in the number of radio pulses in a bundle provides an improvement in the frequency resolution (reduction of the width of the normalized frequency mismatch function) by 100 %. With the predominant multiplicative effect of these fluctuations, a twofold increase in the number of radio pulses results in an improvement in the frequency resolution by about 40 %. The developed method is of great theoretical and practical importance for the further development of the radar theory of high-speed and maneuvering individual and group aerodynamic objects.

Ensuring for production the necessary quantities of biological material of valuable varieties and hybrids to maintain their initial characteristics requires the permanent application of measures to be carried out on a scientific basis, depending on the biological particularities of the variety or hybrid. The production of seeds for leguminous plants is of great importance because the vast majority of species propagate that way. Due to the fact the yield obtained depends on the quality of the seeds, it is necessary to use seeds of varieties and hybrids with superior qualities and from higher biological categories without foreign bodies (impurities). Knowing the particularities of leguminous plant seed is of special practical importance because the conditioning technologies and machinery are based on it and also the culture technologies that are applied both in the field and in protected areas. The paper presents some theoretical aspects regarding the separation of seed mixtures based on the aerodynamic principle (resistance of the seed mass layer to the air passage, seed floating capacity, air flow working rates, total air flow, physical characteristics of seeds, etc.) which were the basis for designing a conditioning module for vegetable, flower and cereal seeds.

Abstract Peanut protein supported rapid growth in weanling rats when present in the diet in sufficient quantity. Defatted meal was prepared by cold pressing and hexane extraction of oil from seeds of Florunner, Tifrun, UF 70115, Tennessee Red, Tamnut and Comet cultivars of peanuts. A concentration of 16% peanut protein resulted in better growth than 12% protein from all cultivars tested. Increasing protein to 20% of the diet further improved growth of rats fed meal from some, but not all, cultivars of peanuts. Apparent digestibility of nitrogen in the meals was about 92%. Peanut meal is potentially a good source of protein for animal production if the peanuts and meal are properly handled after harvest to maintain the nutritional quality of the product. Some statistically significant differences occurred in growth performance of rats fed meals from the several cultivars of peanuts but these are not likely to be of practical importance. However, they suggest that protein quality of the peanut might be improved by breeding. The nutritional quality of peanut protein is considered to be low because the concentration of several of the essential amino acids is below optimal levels for promoting growth of young animals. When compared with casein in the accepted bioassay for protein efficiency ratio (PER, Neucere et al., 1972) or by the slope-ratio technique (Hegsted et al., 19680), the biological value is commonly found to be 50 to 75% of that of the standard protein. Such tests are conducted with growth-limiting levels of dietary protein and provide little information on the potential capacity of a protein to support an acceptable rate of growth. Carpenter and de Muelenaere (1965) concluded that, under certain conditions, higher levels of poor-quality proteins would result in nearly as good growth of chicks, pigs, and rats as could be obtained with practical diets containing good-quality proteins. Defatted meal from Florunner peanuts, when incorporated into diets to provide 16.7% protein, supported growth of weanling rats at a rate comparable to that obtained with diets containing 12% to 24% of casein (Miller and Young, 1977). This paper describes results of a study similar to that mentioned above using meal from several cultivars of peanuts that are of current commercial or genetic interest.

The issue of ensuring the well-being of residents is central to systems of municipal governance. The purpose of our study is to measure the well-being of residents in an urban environment and, based on the obtained results, to identify problem areas that impede the achievement of strategic development goals in the megapolis. We conducted a representative survey of residents in one of the largest industrialized Russian megacities, Ekaterinburg. Based on the survey data, an index of subjective well-being in the urban environment was obtained, which included 4 blocks of assessment indicators: 1) assessment of the current state of the urban environment; 2) assessment of the changes in the urban environment; 3) assessment of personal well-being; and 4) assessment of intentions to live in the city. The study revealed that the most prosperous citizens in the urban environment are: 30-39 years old; married; employed. The problems of low well-being and the absence of youth intent to connect their futures with the city are identified as the main threats to the megapolis’ development. The results of our study are of practical importance for making informed management decisions in urban restructuring planning, urban infrastructure upgrades, and the development of social policy measures aimed at improving the quality of life and well-being of citizens.

In the article the analysis of construction of training is given in the annual loop of preparation of decathlon competitors, that allows to manage a sport from and provides continuous development of trained. The problem of preparing athletes to competitions is one of the most important in sports training. It is of great practical importance. The increase of the level of sports results is a consequence of a significant increase in the amount of training loads. Further growth of sports results is possible provided the quality of the training process is improved. Analysis of the performances of Ukrainian and foreign athletes at major competitions showed that the vast majority of athletes do not achieve their best results. The competitive period is characterized by the fact that the athlete must maintain for a long time a high level of special physical and technical training, which was acquired in the preparatory period. This can be achieved by using competitive and similar special training exercises. Participation in competitions makes high demands on the athlete's body, so in the competitive period, the athlete in their training sessions should include exercises of general and special nature. The stage of direct pre-competition training (SDPT) is an important component of the athlete's training process in the competitive period. Success in competitions largely depends on the effectiveness of the training process at this stage. It is shown that in the work on the organization and management of training of high-class athletes at the competitive stage, the success of the athlete's performance is largely due to correct scientifically sound predictions that can influence the organizational processes of athletics. The quality and accuracy of these decisions, the responsibility for their adoption increase even more at the stage of direct pre-competition preparation for the main start. Having one goal -performing at the main start, the most highly qualified athletes prepare for this start without speeding up their training, trying to solve the main task.
