This study aims to (1) determine the effect of Profit Changes on Financial Distress in Manufacturing companies in the cement, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2) determine the effect of Operational Cash Flow on Financial Distress in Manufacturing companies in the cement, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (3) determine the effect of Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) on Financial Distress in Manufacturing companies in the cement, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (4) determine the effect of Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR) on Financial Distress in Manufacturing companies in the cement, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (5) determine the effect of Profit Changes, Operational Cash Flow, Debt T Equity Ratio (DER), Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR) on Financial Distress in Manufacturing companies in the cement, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The period used in this study is the period 2015-2019.The population in this study were Manufacturing companies in the sub-sector of cement, porcelain and glass which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection used purposive sampling method.

Public Accounting Firm (PAF) switching in companies follows the regulation number 17/PMK.01/2008 article 3 of the Minister of Finance Republik Indonesia, which is in a period of 6 years or voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the size of PAF, financial distress (FD), firm size of client (FSC), client management switching (CMS), audit comitee switching (ACS) to PAF switching voluntarily on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed in IDX in 2010-2014. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling method and 21 companies are selected as the sample by criteria. These variables are then tested using logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The result showed that the size of PAF, FD, FSC, CMS does not affect PAF Switching and ACS has affect PAF Switching. The limitations of this research, the variables used only five independent variables, the research period only five years, and sample selection is only based on a purposive sampling.

AbstractThis research aims to examine wether liquidity, profitability, leverage, and operating cash flow can be used as financial distress predictor. Manufacturing companies which were listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2014-2015, were used as samples. This research used purposive sampling method and 96 companies can be used as samples according to the criteria. Data was analyzed using logistic regression. The result showed that only profitability can be used as financial distress predictor, while liquidity, leverage, and operating cash flow cannot.Keywords: Financial Distress, Liquidity, Leverage, Operating Cash Flow, and Profitability

This research aims to analyze the effect of financial distress, firm size, leverage, and litigation risk on implementing the accounting conservatism of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchanged (IDX) over 2014-2018. Research sample selection used the purposive sampling method. Obtained company data that meet the research criteria as many as 169 companies, so that the total research data is 149 data. The analysis methods in this research are multiple regression analysis. Based on the test results of the research conclude that variables of the board of financial distress, firm size, and litigation risk have no effect on accounting conservatism implemented of manufacturing companies. Meanwhile, the variable of leverage affects the accounting conservatism's implemented by manufacturing companies.  Keywords: Conservatism Accounting. Financial Distress, Firm Size, Leverage, Litigation Risk

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bid ask spread, profitability, and free cash flow on earnings management. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. Earning management is determined by the accruals method. The results of this study stated that the bid ask spread did not have a significant effect on earnings management, while profitability and free cash flow had a significant effect on earnings management.

This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting financial distress in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016–2020. The data used is sourced from the company's financial statements on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the sample has been selected based on predetermined criteria. The population in this study are all Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016–2020 totaling 30 companies, with purposive sampling method, the sample received is 12 companies. From this research, it can be seen that sales growth and working capital turnover partially effect financial distress significantly. Institutional ownership and debt to equity ratio have an insignificant effect on financial distress. All variables have a significant effect on financial distress simultaneously.

This study intends to test of: first, the effect of earnings, residual income, economic value added, and Operation Cash Flow simultaneously on returns received by shareholders manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and second the effect of earnings, residual income, economic value added, and Operation Cash Flow partially on returns received by shareholders manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses linear regression to see the contribution of each independent variable in influencing stock returns. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2008-2011. Being sampled in this study was determined using purposive sampling method. With purposive sampling method found 40 companies that meet the criteria and deserves to be sampled. Based on the analysis it can be concluded simultaneously Earnings, Economic Value Added, Residual Income and Cash Flow Operation significant effect on the return. In partially, only Earnings and Cash Flow Operation significant effect on the return.

Financial distress is the financial difficulties experience by a company before the company become bankruptcy (Mafiroh, 2016). The purpose of this study was to determine which firms would be predicted financial distress. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015. In this study, the population is used 365 companies. The process of collecting samples are using purposive sampling method. The model used to analyze the rate of financial distress is Altman Z-Score Model. The results showed that of the 15 companies that were sampled 5 (five) of them were healthy (>2,99), 2 (two) of them were financial distress (<1,81) and 8 (eight) indicated in grey area (1,81 – 2,99).

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress in manufacturing companies in Riau province. 129 manufacturing companies experiencing financial distress in Riau province were selected as samples using purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that the current ratio affects financial distress. The debt to equity ratio affects financial distress. Return on assets affects financial distress.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of net income (EAT), operating cash flow (OCF), and debt to equity ratio (DER) towards dividend per share (DPS) on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The number of samples that met the criteria was 172 companies. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that, simultaneously, all variables had significant effect on DPS. Partially, the variable that had significant effect was EAT, while OCF and DER had no significant effect. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R2) showed that the effect of variables EAT, OCF, and DER simultaneously to DPS was 30,3%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of current ratios, cash flow, leverage, intangible assets and profitability on financial distress. The population and sample in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The sampling method in this study using purposive sampling method and obtained 95 companies. The results showed that the Current Ratio had an effect on Financial Distress. The greater the Current Ratio, the lower the Financial Distress. Because when the Current Ratio has a high value, the company has the ability to meet its short-term obligations by using available current assets. The test results between the Cash Flow (CF) variable and the Financial Distress (FC) variable show that Cash Flow has an effect on Financial Distress. The higher the company's cash flow, the more likely the company will experience financial distress. For the test results between the leverage variable and the financial distress variable, it shows that the leverage variable has an effect on financial distress. The test results between the Intangible Asset variable and the Financial Distress variable show that the Intangible Asset variable has an effect on Financial Distress. If the Intangible Asset value increases, the Financial Distress value (Z-score) decreases. The results of testing the profitability variable with the Financial Distress variable show that the profitability variable has an effect on Financial Distress.
