Currently, one of the main directions in the field of banking process automation is the creation and implementation of integrated management decision support systems. In the context of growing competition and general digitalization of the economy, the issue of improving the efficiency of bank management is most acute. Most of the automated systems used in this area are aimed at identifying "gaps" in existing business processes and further optimizing their individual parts. Moreover, such systems are not based on economic and mathematical models and algorithms for their solution. This article presents a description of an intelligent computer software package that allows you to simulate the optimization of software and adaptive management of specific business processes - managing the number of personnel and the sales system of the retail block of a commercial bank. The basis of the developed software package is a discrete dynamic economic and mathematical model of the investigated business processes and the developed optimization algorithms for software and adaptive control of these processes. The process of making decisions on the recruitment/reduction of the staff of various categories of employees of the Retail block of a commercial bank, as well as on the management of the sales system provided by the relevant employees. The paper presents the main stages of creating the proposed controlled dynamic model with a vector quality criterion. Based on computer modeling with the help of the developed intelligent computer software complex, the results of optimal solutions for various options for practical examples were obtained. The results are graphically illustrated and analyzed. Based on the proposed dynamic model, it is possible to solve other problems of optimizing software and adaptive management of processes that determine banking activities and develop automated information systems for implementing support for managerial decision-making in this area.

The article considers one of the important criteria for improving the enterprise management system – making a high-quality management decision. This criterion affects the development of the organization's management system. The proposed method, using the implementation of the built-in quality system, will increase the number of high-quality decisions made, increase the ability of the management system to adapt to external changes, and contribute to the formation of a self-supporting system by using the internal reserves of the organization.

Improvement of orbits precision is one of the most important tasks of space surveillance catalogue maintenance. The solution of this problem is directly related to an adequate consideration of the errors of the coordinate information from the measuring instruments. The article consideresd a new method for estimating the precision of measuring instruments on the catalog orbits. To carry out such analysis, in PJSC «VIMPEL» special technological program was created. Main results of a study of radar errors with orbits of space surveillance catalogue was presented. Also, the results were compared with data of measuring instrument's calibration software complex. This software complex provides determination of satellite's position with errors less than 10 m. A new dynamic model of measuring instrument errors is proposed.

Of special interest in the growing field of origami engineering is self-folding, wherein a material is able to fold itself in response to an applied field. In order to simulate the effect of active materials on an origami-inspired design, a dynamic model is needed. Ideally, the model would be an aid in determining how much active material is needed and where it should be placed to actuate the model to the desired position. A dynamic model of the origami waterbomb base, a well-known and foundational origami structure, is developed using Adams, a commercial dynamics software package. Creases are approximated as torsion springs with stiffness and damping. The stiffness of an origami crease is calculated, and the dynamic model is verified using the bistability of the waterbomb. An approximation of the torque produced by magneto-active elastomers (MAE) is calculated and is used to simulate MAE-actuated self-folding of the waterbomb.

Subject. The article assesses the effectiveness of investments in higher education. Objectives. The aim is to assess the performance of investments in higher education for a Master’s student at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, in the field of Economics, Business Analyst Specialty. Methods. The methodology, presented in the study, includes three stages. The first assesses the demand for skills, the second assesses how the supply of skills match the demand, and the third – the effectiveness of investments in higher education, based on the developed mathematical model, scenario analysis, and decision tree. Results. We revealed that for a business analyst, the most important categories of skills are project management, decision-making, organizational competencies, communication, and knowledge of corporate software. The most required skills in these categories are the knowledge of business processes, project documentation, systems thinking, teamwork, communication, and well-bred speech. The analysis of correspondence between the competencies required by employers and those acquired in the training process showed that Master’s graduates meet the demand for the position of a business analyst in the labor market by 69%. Conclusions. The evaluation of the effectiveness of investment in higher education for a Master’s student of the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, in the field of Economics, Business Analyst Specialty, shows that it is more profitable for a Bachelor graduate to continue studying for a Master's degree, rather than go straight to work.

Abstract The issues, problems and possible solutions involved in teaching a modern course on mechanisms and kinematics are addressed from the perspective of a professor and a student. A historical examination shows the value of modern (computer) solution of classical dilemmas. The structure of an introductory course is then presented, with comments on its educational attributes. The solution of several design problems with LINCAGES©, a computer software package, demonstrates the prowess of the modem student/computer liaison.

The article analyzes the problems of improving the efficiency of managing the foreign economic activity of an organization, which lead to the need to change the algorithm of making a managerial decision on the development of its foreign economic activity. The main indicators and factors under which the organization is able to enter foreign markets are analyzed; the features, directions and risks of the organization's international activities are analyzed. The organizational and economic model of managing the foreign economic activity of the organization and the algorithm for making a management decision on the development of such activities are developed. Recommendations for improving the efficiency of work in this area are proposed.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has taken the center stage in almost every aspect of human endeavor. ICT help companies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services offered to customers, and thus enhances business processes, managerial decision making, and workgroup collaborations, thus strengthening their competitive positions in rapidly changing and emerging economies. This paper considers the impacts and trends of ICTs on core sectors of the Nigerian economy. Three core industry sectors of the Nigerian economy were examined namely: Banking Industry, Oil and Gas Industry, and Agricultural Industry in order to examine the level of impact ICTs have on the overall Nigerian economy.

Digital preservation is the consistent archiving of electronic assets for entry and re-use, regardless of the system and computer software options. The introduction of cloud technologies provides a stylish alternative, although preservation systems possess a solid focus on grids. Electronic preservation has turned cloud computing into the primary demand. Cloud services' use continues to rise, however many do not know how several and which cloud services is or not authorized and how they are really in use across their businesses. This kind of incomplete image of the Cloud Services in an organization prevent its capacity to satisfactorily address the hazards related to cloud solutions, including information protection, consumer privacy, dependability of essential business processes, and compliance hazards. Tycoons' involvement is necessary to shift businesses toward better cloud support knowledge as well as a trusted, structured, and foreseeable method of cloud use.
