This paper identified and examined the internal and external forces that enable or inhibit the performance of plant clinics in Nepal. The study used web-based online survey tool to collect primary information. Likert scaling and indexing techniques were used on data analysis. Pretested set of questionnaires were mailed to 209 plant doctors and the response rate was 54.54%. Being ninth country to initiate plant health clinics, Nepal is successful to adapt this novel approach into the existing extension system. It has increased access to plant health services by providing wide range of services at a place. However, limited understanding and only profit motive of local private agro-vet and input dealers has created some biased-understanding and un-trust with clinic organizers. This SWOT analysis clearly spells the scope of plant clinics to fulfill the gap between farmers need and existing services provided by public extension system.Journal of the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science.Vol. 33-34, 2015, page: 137-146

This issue of Seminar.net contains three articles that were written in connection with a Norwegian e-learning conference titled “Networked collaboration, sharing and response”. The conference was held in Mars 2008 in Trondheim, and the presentations from the conference is available (in norwegian language) at http://www.nvu.no. Networked collaboration was chosen as a theme because collaboration is important to achieve learning, according to the social-constructivistic pedagogy that has a strong standing in Norway, but how should this occur on the net? Sharing of content, as in digital learning resources, is a phenomenon with increasing popularity as described in the OECD-report “Giving Knowledge for Free”. But to achieve reuse of content, not only publishing it, it is important with a networked community where the plethora of information can be sorted with relevance to specific topics. Response is about guiding, coaching and tutoring. In what ways may resources and tools be used to move in the direction of solving Bloom’s two sigma problem/challenge? The first article, by Morten Flate Paulsen, shows how cooperative learning can be implemented successfully so that students have optimal individual freedom within online learning communities. The second article, by Carl F. Dons, shows how student teachers can be prepared to deal with pupils who have a wide range of experiences of the digital world. The third and last article, by Kristin Dale, is sharing experiences with multiple choice-tests to give midterm responses to students. In addition, this issue has a commentary article by Rune Krumsvik discussing the need to develop new practices for teachers and students on the background of the digital developments. The conference and articles covers three big themes. It may be difficult to find more important issues, apart from finding money and time to support its development. Olav Skundberg, guest editorAssociate professorSør-Trøndelag University CollegeEmail: [email protected]

Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, E-Learning, Code Igniter, Model Waterfall Abstract: In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the current paradigm has changed the concept of learning not only in Indonesia, but even in the world. This was also made by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap, East Jakarta. Learning activities have been carried out using conventional methods, namely face-to-face direct contact between students and teachers, the concept must be changed, namely using distance learning or being brave to anticipate the spread of the Covid-19 virus in accordance with government regulations in implementing social distancing and physical distancing. By building an electronic learning media or known as e-learning, it is hoped that it will become a learning media that is effective enough to be one of the solutions in carrying out learning in a bold or long distance in the middle of a time where the interaction between educators and students during the implementation of learning can be done outside class or school. Using the Waterfall model, Code Igniter Framework, PHP & MySql, Javascript and Visual Studio Code as a text editor, the development of an e-learning-based information system is expected to be an alternative solution that can help the learning process carried out by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap East Jakarta for bridging the relationship between teachers and students in a count without having to meet face to face so that the implementation of learning runs optimally. The modern information society formulates tasks for the education of professionals who are able to adapt quickly to life situations, acquire the necessary knowledge and apply them in practice without assistance. Problems with the provision of education, which arose during the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of enhanced anti-epidemic measures in areas with a high prevalence of acute respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus, required in real life to find ways to solve them rationally, using modern technologies. The situation made teachers work with information properly, be communicative, work on the development of their own IT competence by themselves. The development of modern technologies has diversified the methods of communication between teachers and students. This article presents an analysis of the implementation of distance learning in the Zaporizhzhia region and focuses on the difficulties faced by teachers, students, their parents, and ways to reduce the problems of introducing distance learning environment in particular. Monitoring the activities of various participants in the educational process provides opportunities to systematize information and provide recommendations for overcoming such difficulties. The experience of 2020 and the results of the survey showed that there was almost no separate distance and e-learning. An online survey was conducted during March 2021 in order to determine the opinion of teachers in the Zaporozhzhia region on the organization of educational and cognitive activities of students in the form of distance learning. The effectiveness of distance learning in educational institutions of the Zaporozhzhia region depends on the technical support of the educational process, the skill of teachers involved in this process, the use of effective communication. Survey participants believe that teacher motivation has less impact on the effectiveness of distance learning than the motivation of the learner. According to many respondents, the schedule of lessons has not changed, but the usual schedule of life has changed dramatically. Many educators emphasize that they work at a computer for more than half a day. Analysis of statistical data and freely expressed opinions of teachers, participants of the survey, suggests that no effective solutions have been found for the organization of "distance" learning, but there are teachers who respond positively to the existing situation and are in innovative search.

The rapid development of 4IR in Malaysia has revolutionized the way of learning. Whole world is promoting electronic learning (e-Learning) as a new method to enhance the learning activities. The campaign continues to hike up when the world was shaken by the COVID19 pandemic, which caused most of the learning centre to close and force classes to be implemented completely online. Hence, this situation introduces the style of studying through mobile phone using the internet known as m-Learning. Although those two styles has been introduced for some time now at Politeknik Malaysia, there is no research conducted to measure the readiness of e-Learning and m-Learning within its context. As such, the aim of this study is to assess the lecturers' readiness in two politeknik namely; Politeknik A and Politeknik B. A total of 140 respondents were collected from using an online survey. A five-point Likert scale that demonstrated degrees of the agreement was applied to capture the lecturers' perceptions on their readiness for these two style learning. The results attained from this particular assessment can be used as some sort of guidelines for further development of e-Learning environment in Politeknik Malaysia.

As part of a study of a larger study of self-identified holistic nurses, researchers asked nurses to describe practice situations where energy-based modalities (EBMs) were used. Four hundred and twenty-four nurses responded by writing free-text responses on an online survey tool. The participants were highly educated and very experienced with 42% holding graduate degrees and 77% having over 21 years of practice. Conventional content analysis revealed four themes: EMBs are 1) caring modalities used to treat a wide range of identified nursing concerns; 2) implemented across the life span and to facilitate life transitions; 3) support care for the treatment of specific medical conditions; and 4) Use of EBMs transcend labels of ‘conditions’ and are used within a holistic framework. The fourth theme reveals a shared vision of nursing work such that the modality becomes secondary and the need to address the ‘whole’ at an energetic level emerges as the primary focus of holistic nursing.

Teaching is a process of attending pupils need, feelings and expectations so that they learn the particular desired things. It is like a profession in which the teachers mould the behaviour of learners and shape it according to the need of the learners so that they contribute for strong nation building.” A teacher can never truly teach unless he is still learning himself. A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continues to burn its own flame.’’- By Rabindranath Tagore. In the field of teaching, professional development of teacher is the need of the hour and professionalism helps the teacher teach how to give their best and contribute meaningful teaching. Now a days technology plays a vital role in every sphere of life, it is the mother of civilisation. Technology has revolutionized all the aspects and educational aspect is not an exception. Techno- upgraded teaching learning environment makes teaching learning more enjoyable for both teacher and learners and transfer of knowledge become very easy and convenient for all. [Title: Moodle E-Learning, the 21st Century Physics Learning Media] A distinctive characteristic of 21st-century learning is digital communication, meaning that the learning process is no longer face to face course between teachers and students but is more of an internet-based (e-learning) modern learning. The process of implementing e-learning requires a Learning Management System (LMS) which functions to regulate the management of learning. One of the LMS that can be used in organizing e-learning learning is moodle. Moodle e-learning can be used as a medium to improve the quality of interactive learning and support for the implementation of blended learning. Through e-learning moodle learning material can be accessed anytime and anywhere, besides that the material can be enriched with various learning resources including multimedia, which can be quickly updated by the instructor. In addition, the facilities offered in moodle e-learning learning are able to display learning materials that are abstract in nature into material that can be witnessed in person. Material samples that are mostly abstract are material on physics subjects. Therefore, moodle electronic learning is expected to be able to help students master the concepts in physics learning.
