Determining Maximum Load of Passengers and Goods to an Aerotaxi in Southwestern Chihuahua

Travel in Chihuahua is a very complicated situation to realize because the distances between land routes is very far because the poor quality of road. The importance of this research is to understand from a Multivariable optimization associated with the path of a group of airplanes associated with an aero taxi company and determine the optimal flight route involve speed, storage and travel resources for determining the cost benefit have partnered with a travel plan, which has as principal basis the orography airstrip restriction, although this problem has been studied on several occasions by the literature failed to establish by supporting ubiquitous computing for interacting with the various values associated with the achievement of the group of airplanes -Cessna 208 Caravan- and their cost-benefit of each issue of the company and comparing their individual trips for the rest of group. There are several factors that can influence in the achievement of a group of Cessna 208 Caravan group for our research we propose to use Bat Algorithm, which has proven to be efficient for the convergence of several issues (artificial bats) when they have such restrictions and obstacles should use this energy to avoid in our case, a gain resource as food which in our case is represented as the use of travel passengers and goods optimally for the duration of a long trip with the uncertainty of not knowing when you have a resupply or reduce this quantity.

The paper deals with well cementing, which is a complex engineering task requiring special tools and technologies. The authors give an example of complications that arise due to the poor quality of well cementing. The aim of the work is to study the mineral ultrafine additive-nanosilicates, which increase the strength of cement stone and reduce its porosity. Nanosilicate is formed during the cleaning of ore-thermal furnaces in metallurgical plants. One of such technologies is application of metallurgical waste, since it can improve the environment by cleaning the sludge fields from waste and reduce the cost of cement slurry by reducing the amount of cement in the composition. The study provides practical data showing that nanosilicates positively affect the strength of cement stone, reducing its porosity.

The purpose of this chapter is to understand a multivariable optimization associated with the path of a group of vehicles integrated in an ecological community and determine the optimal route involve speed, storage, and travel resources. Time of charge for determining the cost benefit have partnered with a travel plan associated with the charge point in a smart city, which has as principal basis the orography restriction related with the energy consumed. Although this problem has been studied on several occasions, the literature failed to establish ubiquitous computing for interacting with the various values associated with the achievement of the group of vehicles and their cost-benefit of each member of the community, comparing their individual trips for the group and determining the quantity of energy required for each one. There are several factors that can influence in the achievement of a group trip. For this chapter, the authors propose to use bat algorithm, which has proven to be efficient for the convergence of several issues.

The economic growth and development of a country depend on a solid infrastructure and the robustness of systems that have been put in place. Together, these constitute a nation’s “engine of growth” and include housing, water, electricity, transportation, communication, and construction. It is postulated that the cost of doing business in Africa is much higher than in other regions, largely because of the poor quality of its infrastructure and to accessibility constraints. The distribution of price levels of these economic drivers, which contribute to the cost of doing business in Africa. Price level indices (PLIs) have been calculated to provide a comparison of the cost of selected infrastructure components across African countries. The data were collected from the 2005 round of the International Comparison Program (ICP) in Africa, covering 48 out of a total of 52 countries and 22 major aggregates of the national accounts.

The quality of unstructured meshes has long been known to affect both the efficiency and the accuracy of the numerical solution of application problems. Mesh quality can often be improved through the use of algorithms based on local reconnection schemes, node smoothing, and adaptive refinement or coarsening. These methods typically incur a significant cost, and in this paper, we provide an analysis of the tradeoffs associated with the cost of mesh improvement in terms of solution efficiency. We first consider simple finite element applications and show the effect of increasing the number of poor quality elements in the mesh and decreasing their quality on the solution time of a number of different solvers. These simple application problems are theoretically well-understood, and we show the relationship between the quality of the mesh and the eigenvalue spectrum of the resulting linear system. We then consider realistic finite element and finite volume application problems, and show that the cost of mesh improvement is significantly less than the cost of solving the problem on a poorer quality mesh.

The article discusses the experience of teaching and conducting spirometry of general practitioners as part of the RESPECT study (RESearch on the PrEvalence and the diagnosis of COPD and its Tobacco-related aetiology). A total of 33 trained in spirometry general practitioners performed a study of 3119 patients. Quality criteria met 84.1% of spirometric studies. The analysis of the most common mistakes made by doctors during the forced expiratory maneuver is included. The most frequent errors were expiration exhalation of less than 6s (54%), non-maximal effort throughout the test and lack of reproducibility (11.3%). Independent predictors of poor spirogram quality were male gender, obstruction (FEV1 /FVC<0.7), and the center where the study was performed. The number of good-quality spirograms ranged from 96.1% (95% CI 83.2–110.4) to 59.8% (95% CI 49.6–71.4) depending on the center. Subsequently, an analysis of the reasons behind the poor quality of research in individual centers was conducted and the identified shortcomings were eliminated. The poor quality of the spirograms was associated either with the errors of the doctors who undertook the study or with the technical malfunctions of the spirometer.

The shift to an integrated IBS construction approach requires enhanced supply chain integration to improve the productivity as well as the poor quality of human behavioual aspect in IBS project. This paper is to identify the challenges at each tier between players to facilitate supply chain integration among the IBS players. Findings adopted from semi-structured interview revealed the critical attitude issues of human factors, lack of interaction and sharing knowledge between interdisciplinary people. The findings of this study is useful to improve integration of supply chain and enhance innovation and sharing interaction between players in the IBS Malaysian construction project environment.© 2016. The quality of metadata is a crucial determinant of usability/interpretability of data. This paper draws attention to the poor quality of India’s government statistics and the paucity of metadata necessary to understand the problems. The paper suggests that there has been a decline in India both in terms of the availability and quality of metadata for key government sources of information including maps, decennial population censuses and National Sample Surveys amidst growing sophistication in the understanding of metadata. The poor quality of metadata impairs cross-sectional as well as inter-temporal comparisons and policymaking apart from concealing biases and lapses of government statisticians. The paper draws on the experience of three states – erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir, Manipur and Nagaland – where government statistics have been affected by serious errors that are not well-understood due to the lack of adequate metadata.

The micro-model, which the brick and the mortar model are separated, is used to analyze masonry. Meanwhile, the mortar is divided into three layers along the thickness direction to obtain the internal mechanical behavior of mortar, and the vertical mortar joint strength is taken as 50% strength of the horizontal mortar joint for considering the poor quality of vertical mortar joint. The compressive ultimate load and failure mode of masonry taken from the finite element analysis result, especially the vertical cracks throughout all bricks and mortar and change of brick and mortar strain, are in agreement with the experimental results. It shows that the micro-model and method adopted in paper are able to effectively apply in nonlinear structural analysis for masonry.
