The success of an organization's website is determined by the user's experience (UX). Yet many organizations continue to struggle to find tools to strategically analyze the UX's satisfaction with their websites and overall online presence. While there have been numerous studies offering “best practices” for website design, most of these are dated and do not take into consideration UX's experience and social media tools that come into the market. In this chapter, over 900 surveys were conducted on Inc. Magazine's Top 500 list (2011-13) of fastest growing companies in the United States. The analysis of these surveys resulted in a list of shared elements (best practices) common to the websites surveyed. Through the use of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) multi-attribute decision model, the authors developed a measure by which companies can assess their customer's experience and compare it to these best practices model. This model provides an internally consistent, robust model against which to measure an organization's website based on the user's experience (UX).

For many organizations their websites are the first impression customers have of their companies. The impact and importance of web design on organizations continues to dramatically increase. Yet many organizations continue to struggle to find tools to strategically analyze their websites and overall online presence. While there have been numerous studies offering “best practices” for website design, most of these are dated and do not take into consideration new applications and social media tools that come into the market. In our research over 900 surveys were conducted on Inc. Magazine's Top 500 list (2011-13) of fastest growing companies in the United States. The analysis of these surveys resulted in a list of shared elements (best practices) common to the websites surveyed. Through the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Multi-attribute Decision Model, we developed a measure by which companies can assess their web presence in comparison to this best practices model. This model provides an internally consistent, robust model against which to measure an organization's website.

Due to COVID-19, school districts in the fall of 2020 had to decide whether to conduct all classes in person or offer some or all of these classes virtually. Many school districts would decide on a program and then change their decision based on the COVID-19 situation in their area. These changes caused education and personal issues for the students, teachers, parents, and others who worked in their school system. This paper explores how the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a well-regarded, multi-criteria decision analysis approach, can be used to analyze this situation by developing two prototype versions of the AHP and illustrating these versions of the AHP with a detailed example. The team approach for analyzing this issue is also described. Additionally, the current situation of this problem in the United States and elsewhere is discussed. Finally, Professor Bodin is making software that he has developed available (at no cost) for carrying out many of the computations for the AHP versions described in this paper.

The development of E-Commerce has become the main tendency, so the importance of website building should also be taken seriously. The paper designs a system of comprehensive evaluating depends on the basic demands of website building, and begins with four aspects, which mainly includes website function, website content, website implement and application, and website promotion. Then this paper establishes the judgment matrixes of A-B and B-C and check their consistency to get the assessment matrix of A-C based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), at last we get the total index weight rank which represents the important level of every specific index relative to the final goal. This research mainly aims at promoting the standardization development of website.

According to the definition, objectives, and functions of the health care system, the performance of the system has been evaluated from the three aspects: effectiveness, equity, and efficiency. By replacement analysis and analytic hierarchy process, the model has been constructed. Considering the raw data and omitting life expectancy at birth and obesity rate, we find that some indicators are affected by the policy factor. Health care system in the United States has been compared with other countries which have different level by using the iteration model. The value of the evaluation function in the four countries is different, and the results show that the health care system in United States is the best among the four countries.

Initiatives related to reverse logistics are increasingly common in companies that produce tires, lubricating oils, batteries, and electronic equipment, among others. In the pharmaceutical sector, reverse logistics is also relevant, contributing to reduce medication exposure to other people and the environment. Thus, this research seeks to find out which practices related to reverse logistics are used in 13 hospitals in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Regarding the methodological procedures, this research is supported by interviews with those responsible for disposing of medicines from hospitals, and the best practices were ranked using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. Among the main difficulties for performing Medicine Reverse Logistics practices in hospitals, the absence of a standard process for medicine disposal and medications held by nurses or satellite pharmacies—for being out of control—stand out.

Research artifact sharing is known to strengthen the transparency of scientific studies. However, in the lack of common discipline-specific guidelines for artifacts evaluation, subjective and conflicting expectations may happen and threaten artifact quality. In this paper, we discuss our preliminary ideas for a framework based on quality management principles (5W2H) that can aid in the establishment of common guidelines for artifact evaluation and sharing. Also, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process, we discuss how research communities could join efforts to aid the guidelines’ adequacy to research priorities. These combined methodologies constitute a novelty for software engineering research which can foster research software sustainability.

Kata kunci: green campus, standar penilaian, UI GreenMetric, STARS ABSTRACTGreen campus is a concept that leverages the campus as a medium to integrate the concept of sustainability into policy, management and university activities. Based on existing standards, education has been regarded as one of the fundamental things considered in green campus assessment both in Indonesia and in some other countries. With the rapid development of sustainability issues in recent years, this research aims to develop GreenMetric UI into a more effective green campus assessment standard, focusing on the Education (ED) category. The development of this ED category was done by comparing it with similar categoriesof STARS, the green campus standard in the United States. The re-weighting of sub categories, together with the new indicators and sub-indicators contained in this category, was subsequently carried out using the Analytic Hierarchy Process method. The four sub-categories which were successfully developed in this research include Sustainable Academic, Sustainable Professional Development, Sustainable Support, and Sustainable Assessment. For verification purpose, a study on campus performance at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan was conducted using the newly developed category. Kata Kunci: green campus, asssessment standard, UI GreenMetric, STARS
