Evaluasi Perencanaan Jembatan Kereta Api Rangka Baja Double Track Tipe Welded Through Truss Bentang 50 meter

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menganalisis perencanaan struktur atas jembatan kereta api rangka baja double track tipe Welded Through Truss (WTT) dengan bentang jembatan 50 m melalui Gambar Standar Tipikal Jembatan yang ada di lapangan. Analisis dan pembebanan jembatan sesuai kriteria teknis yang mengacu pada Lampiran Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan No. 60 Tahun 2012 tentang Persyaratan Teknis Jalur Kereta Api. Hasilnya dievaluasi dalam nilai tegangan dan defleksi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa batang diagonal yang menghasilkan angka rasio tegangan > 1, sehingga perlu dilakukan penambahan tebal profil penampang atau juga menambahkan stiffener pada elemen-elemen jembatan yang kritis. Namun demikian nilai lendutan aktual di tengah bentang sebesar 46,651 mm masih memenuhi syarat karena kurang dari lendutan ijin 50 mm.Kata kunci: jembatan kereta api, welded through truss, PM 60 Tahun 2012, rasio tegangan dan defleksi ABSTRACTThis study analyzed the performance design about the uper structure of typical railway bridge for the 50 m WTT (Welded Through Truss) steel frame railway bridge with double track. Planning criteria refer to Attachment to the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 60 of 2012 for Technical Requirements for Railroad. The results are evaluated in terms of stress ratio and deflection. The analysis result show that the 50 m WTT (Welded Through Truss) steel frame railway bridge has several diagonal bars that produce a stress ratio > 1, so it is necessary to add the thickness of the cross sectional profile or also to add a stiffener to the bridge structure. However the actual deflection value in the middle of the span of 46.651 mm still meets the requirements because it is less than the allowable deflection of 50 mm.Keywords: railway bridge, welded through truss, PM 60 of 2012, stress ratio and deflection

Analisis Stabilitas Timbunan pada Tanah Dasar Berbentuk Lereng dengan Metode Elemen Hingga

ABSTRAKAnalisis menggunakan program PLAXIS 2D dengan tinggi timbunan dan kemiringan tanah dasar bervariasi tanpa dan dengan perkuatan rock fill sehingga diperoleh kebutuhan rock fill agar faktor keamanan memenuhi syarat. Hasil analisis dengan kemiringan tanah dasar 1V:8H diperoleh kebutuhan rock fill timbunan lempung dengan tinggi 5m, 10m, 15m dan 20m sebesar 0%; 24,7%; 45,5% dan 59,1% sedangkan timbunan pasir sebesar 14,5%; 43,2%; 62,4% dan 71,4%. Pada kemiringan tanah dasar 1V:6H diperoleh kebutuhan rock fill masing-masing ketinggian timbunan lempung sebesar 5%; 45,8%; 59,3% dan 66.6%, sedangkan timbunan pasir sebesar 33,1%; 62,3%; 71,9% dan 73,2%. Pada kemiringan tanah dasar 1V:4H diperoleh kebutuhan rock fill masing-masing ketinggian timbunan lempung sebesar 48,9%; 66,7%; 75,6% dan 81,3%; sedangkan timbunan pasir sebesar 60,1%; 72,6%; 80,5% dan 84%. Variasi jenis mesh menghasilkan faktor keamanan yang tidak signifikan antar jenis mesh dikarenakan lapisan timbunan yang dimodelkan relatif rapat. Analisis geometri tanah dasar bertangga dengan lurus tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap faktor keamanan.Kata kunci: stabilitas lereng, timbunan, tanah dasar, rock fill, metode elemen hingga, PLAXIS 2D ABSTRACTAnalysis using PLAXIS 2D program with varying heights and slopes of subgrade without and with rock fill reinforcement in order to obtain the need for rock fill so that the safety factor meets the requirements. The results of the analysis with a subgrade slope of 1V: 8H obtained the need for rock fill clay pile with a height of 5m, 10m, 15m and 20m of 0%; 24.7%; 45.5% and 59.1% while the sand pile was 14.5%; 43.2%; 62.4% and 71.4%. At a subgrade slope of 1V: 6H, the required rock fill height for each clay pile is 5%; 45.8%; 59.3% and 66.6%, while the sand pile was 33.1%; 62.3%; 71.9% and 73.2%. At 1V: 4H subgrade slope, the required rock fill height for each clay pile height is 48.9%; 66.7%; 75.6% and 81.3%; while the sand pile was 60.1%; 72.6%; 80.5% and 84%. Variation of mesh types resulted in insignificant safety factor between mesh types because the modeled embankment layer was relatively tight. Pengaruh Penambahan RD 31 pada Beton dengan Substitusi Ground Granulated Blast Furnance Slag

ABSTRAKJauhnya lokasi batching plant dengan tempat penuangan kerapkali membuat beton setting sehingga dibutuhkan bahan tambah retarder. Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) memiliki komposisi kimia mirip semen. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian penambahan retarder pada beton dengan substitusi GGBFS sebagai pengganti sebagian semen untuk mengetahui pengaruh (dengan uji regresi SPSS), sifat fisik dan mekanik beton, serta mendapatkan kadar optimum penambahan retarder. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan variasi campuran 90% semen, 10% GGBFS dengan retarder 0%, 0,2%, 0,4%, dan 0,6% berat semen dengan fas 0,5 sesuai SNI 03-2834-2000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan retarder 0,2% - 0,6% mampu meningkatkan kuat tekan sebesar 19,61 - 50,59%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kadar optimum 0,2% karena memiliki sifat paling baik.Kata kunci: GGBFS, kuat tekan, retarder ABSTRACTLong distance between batching plant to the pouring area often causes the concrete undergo a setting, so that a retarder addition material is needed. Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) which has a chemical composition similar to cement. Therefore, a research was conducted on retarder addition to concrete with GGBFS substitution as a partial cement substitute to obtain the effect (regression analysis method in SPSS), physical and mechanical properties of concrete, and to obtain the optimum level of retarder addition. This research used an experimental method with a mixture variation of 90% cement, 10% GGBFS with retarder percentage as follows; 0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.6% of cement weight with a water/cement is 0.5 according to SNI 03-2834-2000. The results of research with the addition of a retarder of 0.2% - 0.6% were able to increase the compressive strength by 19.61 - 50.59%. Based on the results, the optimum level of retarder is at a variation of 0.2% as it has the best physical and mechanical properties.Keywords: GGBFS, compressive strength, retarder

Perubahan Karakteristik Aspal Pen 60/70 dengan Substitusi Getah Karet Alam Pangkalan Balai, Sumatera Selatan

ABSTRAKBerdasarkan data Produksi Karet di Indonesia terdapat peningkatan rata-rata 1,5% pada tahun 2015-2020, dimana produksi karet terbesar adalah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yaitu 28,77%. Dengan peningkatan dan upaya pemanfaatannya maka dilakukan penelitian substitusi getah karet ke aspal. Getah karet yang digunakan adalah berbentuk padat dan berasal dari Pangkalan Balai, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik aspal pen 60/70 disubstitusi dengan kadar getah karet alam 0%, 2,5%, 5%, dan 7,5%. Pengujian mengacu pada SE Menteri PUPR No 04/SE/M/2019. Hasil pengujian menunjukan nilai penetrasi, daktilitas, berat jenis, viskositas 135°C, kelarutan dalam TCE, TFOT, serta penetrasi dan daktilitas setelah kehilangan berat mengalami penurunan dengan ditambahnya kadar getah karet. Sedangkan nilai titik lembek, titik nyala, dan kehilangan berat mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik aspal menjadi lebih keras dan diindikasi tahan terhadap deformasi tetapi rentan terhadap retak. Dari nilai pengujian disimpulkan bahwa kadar getah karet alam 5% memenuhi spesifikasi aspal modifikasi.Kata kunci: getah karet alam, aspal pen 60/70, aspal modifikasi ABSTRACTBased on Rubber Production data in Indonesia, there has been an average increasing of 1.5% for 2016-2020, where the largest production of rubber is South Sumatra Province, which is 28.77%. With the improvement and utilization efforts, research was carried out on mixing rubber sap into asphalt. The rubber sap that has been used is solid and comes from Pangkalan Balai, South Sumatra. This study aims to examine the characteristics of 60/70 pen asphalt substituted with natural rubber latex levels of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%. The test refers to SE Menteri PUPR No 04/SE/M/2019. The test results have shown the value of penetration, ductility, specific gravity, viscosity of 135° C, solubility in TCE, TFOT, penetration and ductility after weight loss has decreased with the addition of rubber sap content. Meanwhile, the values for softening point, flash point, and weight loss increased. This indicates that the characteristics of the asphalt become tougher and indicate that it is resistant to deformation but is prone to cracking. Judging from the test value, it can be concluded that the 5% natural rubber latex content meets the specifications of asphalt modification.Keywords: natural rubber, asphalt pen 60/70, asphalt modification

Analisis Potensi Likuefaksi pada Tanah Pasir Akibat Gempa (Studi Kasus Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat)

ABSTRAKPada hari Minggu, 5 Agustus 2018 pukul 19:46 WITA, gempa bumi mengguncang wilayah Labuan, Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan skala magnitudo M7,0. Akibat guncangan tersebut, terjadi peristiwa likuefaksi di sebagian wilayah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat dan menimbulkan kerusakan yang signifikan. Peristiwa likuefaksi dapat terjadi apabila mengalami peningkatan tekanan air pori yang dipicu oleh gempa bumi sehingga mengakibatkan tanah kehilangan kekakuan dan kuat geser tanah. Likuefaksi pada umumnya terjadi pada tanah pasir lepas dengan kondisi jenuh air. Dalam menganalisis potensi terjadinya likuefaksi di lokasi penelitian, digunakan nilai percepatan puncak di batuan dasar (PGA) sebesar 4,13 m/s2dan menggunakan data tanah hasil pengujian Standard Penetration Test (SPT). Hasil perbandingan antara ketahanan tanah atau Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR) dengan kemampuan tanah terlikuefaksi atau Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR) menunjukkan bahwa likuefaksi terjadi pada rata-rata kedalaman 5,5 m – 19.5 m.Kata kunci: likuefaksi, cyclic stress ratio (CSR), cyclic resistance ratio (CRR), faktor keamanan (FK) ABSTRACTOn Sunday, August 5 2018 at 19:46 WITA, an earthquake has shook Labuan, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara with magnitude 7.0 scale. As a result of the earthquake, liquefaction occurred in several regions of West Nusa Tenggara and caused severe damage. Liquefaction can occure when an increase in pore water pressure is triggered by an earthquake, which causes the soil losing its shear strength and stiffness. Liquefaction mostly occured in sand loose and saturated condition. Analysis of liquefaction based on Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) at the research site 4.13 m/s2 were done according to the data of SPT (Standard Penetration Test). By comparing the value of soil resistance to liquefaction or Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR) and the ability of soil to be liquefied or Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR), the analysis shows the soil in that area are liquefied at depth of 5.5 m – 19.5 m.Keywords: liquefaction, cyclic stress ratio (CSR), cyclic resistance ratio (CRR), safety of factor (SF)

Karakteristik Gelombang Laut pada Rencana Pembangunan Breakwater di Pelabuhan Tanjung Adikarto

ABSTRAKDesain breakwater pada pembangunan Pelabuhan Tanjung Adikarto telah beberapa kali mengalami perubahan sejak tahun 2003. Pelaksanaan konstruksi breakwater sisi barat dan sisi timur pada tahun 2007 dan 2008 mengalami kegagalan akibat gelombang tinggi dari Samudera Hindia yang dianggap merusak. Desain review dengan sudut breakwater yang bergeser untuk membuka jalur navigasi dibuat pada tahun 2011 dan proses konstruksinya terhenti pada tahun 2012. Desain tinjauan ketiga dibuat pada tahun 2013 namun hingga saat ini konstruksinya belum dimulai. Berdasarkan laporan Proyek Yogya yang disupervisi oleh TU Delft, diketahui bahwa belum pernah dilakukan penelitian mengenai kondisi hidrodinamika untuk perencanaan pelabuhan. Pada penelitian ini, pemodelan hidrodinamika dan pemodelan transformasi gelombang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik gelombang di sekitar breakwater. Pemodelan dilakukan untuk skenario desain tahun 2011 dan desain tahun 2013. Simulasi dilakukan pada bulan bulan Januari (musim barat) dan bulan Juli (musim timur) selama 30 hari guna mengetahui efektifitas dari breakwater dalam meredam gelombang.Kata kunci: breakwater, pemodelan, hidrodinamika, gelombang. ABSTRACTSince 2003, the breakwater design in the development planning for the Tanjung Adikarto Port has changed several times. The construction of the west and east side breakwaters in 2007 and 2008 failed due to high waves from the Indian Ocean which were considered destructive. A review design with a shifted breakwater angle to open the navigation chanel was made in 2011 and the construction also stopped in 2012. The third review design was made in 2013 but the construction has yet to begin. Based on the Yogya Project report supervised by TU Delft, it is known that hydrodynamic conditions have never been assessed for port planning. In this study, hydrodynamic and wave transformation modeling were carried out in order to study the characteristics of the waves around the breakwater. Modeling was carried out for the 2011 design scenario and also for 2013 review design scenario to determine the effectiveness of the breakwater in reducing waves.Keywords: breakwater, modeling, hydrodynamics, wave.

Studi Eksperimental Kuat Tumpu Baut Sejajar Serat Metode Lubang Penuh dan Setengah Lubang

ABSTRAKKuat tumpu baut merupakan salah satu parameter penting dalam menentukan suatu sambungan baut. Berdasarkan persamaan SNI 7973:2013, kuat tumpu ditentukan berdasarkan berat jenis kayu, diameter pengencang, dan arah serat kayu. Pada penelitian kali ini terdapat dua metode pengujian eksperimental yaitu metode lubang penuh dan metode setengah lubang berdasarkan ASTM D5764-97a (2002). Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan kayu Mahoni dengan sejajar arah serat dan tiga variasi diameter baut yaitu 1/2 inchi, 5/8 inchi dan 3/4 inchi yang dibandingkan dengan analisis teoritis berdasarkan SNI 7973:2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengujian eksperimental kuat tumpu baut memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan persamaan berdasarkan SNI 7973:2013, dengan nilai persen beda untuk pengujian metode lubang penuh sebesar 22,914% untuk sampel a; 5,806% untuk sampel b; 3,759% untuk sampel c; sedangkan untuk pengujian menggunakan metode setengah lubang sebesar 20,927% untuk sampel AA; 16,954% untuk sampel BB; 15,326% untuk sampel CC.Kata kunci: kuat tumpu baut, sejajar serat, SNI 7973:2013 ABSTRACTBolt bearing strength is one of the important parameters in bolt connetion design. According to the SNI 7973:2013, bearing strength is determined based on specific gravity of timber, diameter of fasterner and direction of timber grain. In this research, there are two experimental testing methods, full hole and half hole testing based on ASTM D5764-97a (2002). Mahogany timber with parallel grain direction was carried out in this test using three variations of bolt diameter, which are 1/2 in, 5/8 in and 3/4 in. This study compares the value of bolt bearing strength with theoritical analysis based on SNI 7973:2013. The result showed that the experimental of bearing strength had a greater value than the equation of theoritical analysis based on SNI 7973:2013, with percentage of difference for full hole testing are 22.914% for sample a, 5.806% for sample b, 3.759% for sample c, while the percentage of difference for half hole testing are 20,297% for sample AA, 16.954% for sample BB, and 15.326% for sample CC.Keywords: bolt bearing strength, parallel grain, SNI 7973:2013

Analisis Kinerja Bangunan Rangka Baja dengan Bresing Tahan Tekuk terhadap Beban Gempa

ABSTRAKPenggunaan bresing tahan tekuk dapat menjadi solusi atas kebutuhan struktur tahan gempa di Indonesia. Disipasi energi pada elemen bresing tahan tekuk dilakukan melalui kinerja plastifikasi bagian inti bresing akibat beban tarik dan tekan. Penelitian ini berisi kajian kinerja dari bangunan rangka baja beraturan dengan bresing tahan tekuk (BRB) dengan variasi level ketinggian lantai yaitu 3 lantai, 8 lantai dan 15 lantai. Analisis struktur 3D dilakukan dengan dua prosedur analisis yaitu modal pushover dan nonlinear time history pada program ETABS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan elemen BRB sangat mempengaruhi kinerja struktur, yang terlihat dari pola drift yang terjadi. Untuk struktur beraturan dengan berbagai ketinggian, tingkat kinerja struktur dengan BRB cukup baik, yaitu Immediate Occupancy (IO) akibat beban gempa rencana. Plastifikasi hanya terjadi pada BRB, dan kelelehan pada balok mulai terbentuk sampai mekanisme keruntuhan terjadi. Hasil modal pushover dengan nonlinear time history pada bangunan 15 lantai yang cukup mirip menunjukkan bahwa modal pushover dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kinerja struktur BRB yang beraturan.Kata kunci: kinerja struktur, bresing tahan tekuk, immediate occupancy, modal pushover, nonlinear time history ABSTRACTBuckling restrained braces (BRB) can be an alternative solution for earthquake resistant steel structure in Indonesia. The energy dissipation for buckling restrained elements is conducted through yielding of the core due to tension or compression forces. This study presents an evaluation of the structural performance of steel structures with BRB varying in heights, 3-story, 8-story and 15-story. The 3D structural analysis was carried out with ETABS software using 2 methods, Modal Pushover and Nonlinear Time History. The results shows that the selection of BRB elements greatly affected the structural performance, showed by the drift pattern. For regular structures with variation in heights, structures with BRB behaved satisfactory under the design load with the performance level of Immediate Occupancy (IO). Yielding was limited to BRB members, and afterwards the yielding occurred on beams until collapse. The results of modal pushover and time history analysis for 15-story structure are similar, thus modal pushover can be used to predict the performance of regular structural system with BRB.Keywords: structural performance, buckling restrained brace, immediate occupancy, modal pushover analysis, nonlinear time history analysis

Analisis Tahapan Konstruksi Jembatan Cable Stayed dengan Metode Kesetimbangan Kantilever

ABSTRAKJembatan cable stayed merupakan struktur jembatan yang memiliki sederetan kabel yang menghubungkan pilon dan girder. Dalam pembangunan jembatan cable stayed perlu dilakukan analisis pada tahap konstruksi. Penelitian ini menganalisis tahapan konstruksi jembatan cable stayed menggunakan metode kesetimbangan kantilever untuk menghasilkan besarnya gaya-gaya dalam yang memenuhi syarat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tegangan kabel maksimum yaitu 404,6 MPa dengan tegangan putus yaitu 837 MPa. Nilai lendutan terendah terdapat pada segmen 1 yaitu 0,001 m. Nilai lendutan tertinggi terdapat pada segmen 20 yaitu 0,167 m. Kemudian mengalami penurunan pada tahap 21 sebesar 0,153 m. Lendutan yang terjadi memiliki nilai di bawah lendutan izin yaitu 0,375 m. Momen terbesar terjadi pada segmen 21 yaitu 18.286,31 kNm; sedangkan yang terendah pada segmen 11 yaitu 20,43 kNm. Momen maksimum yang terjadi akibat layan yaitu 68.003 kNm dengan batas kapasitas izin yaitu 190.500,13 kNm. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur jembatan aman pada tahap pelaksanaan dan juga pasca konstruksi.Kata Kunci: cable stayed, tegangan kabel, lendutan, gaya dalam ABSTRACTThe cable-stayed bridge is structure of a bridge that have an align of cables which connecting to a pilon and a girder. Through a cable-stayed bridge constructor, it is necessary to construge stage. This research analyzing a phase of constructor a cable-stayed bridge using equilibrium cantiveler method's to produce a within forces which is fullfill requirement. According to the result of the research, the highest tension of the cable is 404.6 MPa and ultimate tension is 837 MPa. The lowest deflection value occur at the segment 1 is 0.001 m. The highest deflection value occur at the segment 20 is 0.0167 m. Subsequently undergo decreasing on the phase 21 is 0.153 m. The deflection that occur has value below the deflection permit is 0.375 m. The highest moment occur at the segment 21 is 18,286.31 kNm; on the other hand the lowest moment occur at the segment 11 is 20.43 kNm. The maximum moment that occurs due to the service is 68,003 kNm with a permit capacity limit og 190,500.13 kNm. According to the result of the research, so that in conclude, the structure is safe on the execution phase and also the post-construction phase.Keywords: cable stayed, tension cable, displacement, beam force

Perbandingan Peta Gempa pada Analisis Potensi Likuefaksi (Studi Kasus Jalan Tol Ruas Probolinggo – Banyuwangi Seksi II)

ABSTRAKProbolinggo Jawa timur memiliki sesar yang berpotensi akan terjadinya gempa. Sesar Probolinggo bergerak sebesar 0,2 mm per tahun. Pasir lepas yang terdapat pada jalan tol Probolinggo – Banyuwangi ini sebagai salah satu indikasi potensi likuefaksi. Analasis potensi likuefaksi menggunakan metode Seed et al (1985). Analisis potensi likuefaksi pada tanah ini menggunakan beberapa peta gempa dan variasi fines content pada tanah. Perbedaan percepatan gempa dan fines content pada beberapa peta gempa tersebut akan menunjukan pengaruh pada potensi terjadinya likuefaksi pada tanah. Hasil penelitian tanah dengan kandung fines content 35 % terjadi likuefaksi lebih sedikit dibanding tanah dengan kandungan fines content yang lebih kecil. Hal tersebut terjadi karena nilai fines content berpengaruh pada hasil CRR. Peta gempa dengan periode ulang lebih besar memiliki percepatan gempa besar sehinnga terjadi titik likuefaksi lebih banyak dibanding peta gempa dengan periode ulang lebih kecil. Hal tersebut terjadi karena percepatan gempa berpengaruh pada nilai CSR.Kata Kunci: CSR, CRR, fines content, likuefaksi, percepatan gempa ABSTRACTProbolinggo, East Java has a fault that has the potential to cause an earthquake. The Probolinggo Fault moves by 0.2 mm per year. The loose sand found on the Probolinggo – Banyuwangi toll road is an indication of the potential for liquidation. Analysis of the potential for liquefaction using the method of Seed et al (1985). Analysis of the potential for liquefaction on this land using several earthquake maps and variations in soil content. The difference in earthquake acceleration and fines content on some earthquake maps will show the effect on the potential occurrence of liquefaction on the ground. The results of soil research with 35% fines content have fewer liquefaction compared to soil with smaller fines content. This happens because the value of fines content affects the CRR results. Earthquake maps with greater return periods have large earthquake acceleration so that there are more liquefaction points than earthquake maps with smaller return periods.
