Cloud computing has been critical and seen more progress in the field of education. Many educational institutions have applied the cloud computing classroom as a platform to engage students learning online. However, there remains a lack of research on users' perceived fit and performance in the context to better evaluate the efficacy of cloud computing classroom in fulfilling students' needs. This study attempts to explore whether there is a fit between students' motivations and characteristics of services provided by the cloud computing classroom, and whether this fit contributes to positive outcome of student performance. Mixed research methods were used because of novelty of cloud computing classroom context. First, propositions were extracted from in-depth interviews. Then, the propositions were converted into hypotheses and were further confirmed by a quantitative survey. The results indicated that the characteristics of the services provided by the cloud computing class room fit user's needs, and the fit significantly affects users' performance.

Abstract The most prominent characteristic that distinguishes pesantren from other educational institutions is the twenty-four-hour education system, by conditioning the students in a dormitory location that is divided into rooms or rooms, making it easier to apply them. One of them Pondok Pesantren Khoiru Ummah Waitila Maluku Tengah. Pondok pesantren many achievements in the field of religion as in Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ), Musabaqoh Qiraatul Kutub (MQK) and so on. The achievements achieved by pondok pesantren are inseparable from the model and use of learning media pondok pesantren. This research uses qualitative research method there are three data collection techniques used in this research, in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation studies. For data analysis is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study showed that the Pondok Pesantren Khoiru Ummah combining between Pesantren Salaf and Moderen. Pesantren salaf is a boarding school that always maintains the tradition of teaching classical books in the process of education in pesantren. While pondok pesantren modern is pondok pesantren conducting education through formal pathways such as madrasahs or schools developed by. Then the use of learning media is done by using a number of learning applications such as through google class room, e-learning, watshaap group, telegram and so on. Introduction. The important factors affecting health and performance of young people are the conditions of education, in particular, a comfortable microclimate in the classrooms of higher educational institutions. Materials and methods. In view of the urgency of this problem, an analysis was made of the microclimate parameters of educational organizations of different profiles (Ufa city, the Republic of Bashkortostan). 294 classrooms were studied in 22 buildings of 4 leading universities in Ufa. A total of 3,822 measurements were taken to determine the parameters of the microclimate. The analysis of ionizing radiation in the aerial environment of classrooms. There was performed determination of radon and its affiliated products content. In order to assess the conditions and lifestyle of students of 4 higher educational institutions of the city of Ufa, we conducted an anonymous survey of 1,820 students of I and IV years of education. Results. The average temperature in the classrooms of all universities studied was 23.9±0.09 C. The average relative humidity in all classrooms was 34.2 ± 0.42%. Analysis of ionizing radiation (radon and its daughter products decay) in the aerial environment of the classrooms and sports halls located in the basement determined that the average annual equivalent equilibrium volumetric activity of the radon daughter products (EROA ± Δ222Rn) ranged from 28 ± 14 to 69 ± 34.5 meter, which meets the requirements established by SanPiN. Conclusion. The hygienic assessment of the microclimate parameters of educational institutions of various profile revealed a number of deviations from the regulated norms. The results indicate the need to control the parameters of the microclimate, both from the administration of universities, and from the professors. According to the results of the study, recommendations were prepared for the management of higher educational institutions in Ufa.

Cloud computing instruction requires hands-on experience with a myriad of distributed computing services from a public cloud provider. Tracking the progress of the students, especially for online courses, requires one to automatically gather evidence and produce learning analytics in order to further determine the behavior and performance of students. With this aim, this paper describes the experience from an online course in cloud computing with Amazon Web Services on the creation of an open-source data processing tool to systematically obtain learning analytics related to the hands-on activities carried out throughout the course. These data, combined with the data obtained from the learning management system, have allowed the better characterization of the behavior of students in the course. Insights from a population of more than 420 online students through three academic years have been assessed, the dataset has been released for increased reproducibility. The results corroborate that course length has an impact on online students dropout. In addition, a gender analysis pointed out that there are no statistically significant differences in the final marks between genders, but women show an increased degree of commitment with the activities planned in the course.

Millions of students follow online classes which are delivered in video format. Several studies examine the impact of these video formats on engagement and learning using explicit measures and outline the need to also investigate the implicit cognitive and emotional states of online learners. Our study compared two video formats in terms of engagement (over time) and learning in a between-subject experiment. Engagement was operationalized using explicit and implicit neurophysiological measures. Twenty-six (26) subjects participated in the study and were randomly assigned to one of two conditions based on the video shown: infographic video or lecture capture. The infographic video showed animated graphics, images, and text. The lecture capture showed a professor, providing a lecture, filmed in a classroom setting. Results suggest that lecture capture triggers greater emotional engagement over a shorter period, whereas the infographic video maintains higher emotional and cognitive engagement over longer periods of time. Regarding student learning, the infographic video contributes to significantly improved performance in matters of difficult questions. Additionally, our results suggest a significant relationship between engagement and student performance. In general, the higher the engagement, the better the student performance, although, in the case of cognitive engagement, the link is quadratic (inverted U shaped).

At present the cloud computing is one of the newest trends of distributed computation, which is propelling another important revolution of software industry. The cloud services composition is one of the key techniques in software development. The optimization for reliability and performance of cloud services composition application, which is a typical stochastic optimization problem, is confronted with severe challenges due to its randomness and long transaction, as well as the characteristics of the cloud computing resources such as openness and dynamic. The traditional reliability and performance optimization techniques, for example, Markov model and state space analysis and so forth, have some defects such as being too time consuming and easy to cause state space explosion and unsatisfied the assumptions of component execution independence. To overcome these defects, we propose a fast optimization method for reliability and performance of cloud services composition application based on universal generating function and genetic algorithm in this paper. At first, a reliability and performance model for cloud service composition application based on the multiple state system theory is presented. Then the reliability and performance definition based on universal generating function is proposed. Based on this, a fast reliability and performance optimization algorithm is presented. In the end, the illustrative examples are given.

The relevance of the study is determined by the modernization of education, the surge of national self-awareness in the regions of the country and insufficient knowledge of the historical experience of training teachers for national schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the 1930s. In this regard, the historical experience of the Soviet period of training teachers as carriers of the culture of the peoples of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk North for national schools is of great interest. The purpose of the article is to characterize the experience of training teachers for national schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the 1930s. Methodology and research methods. To solve the set research tasks, the following were used: historical-retrospective, historical-reconstructive, historical-typological, comparative-historical, systemic-structural, chronological, historical-genetic methods, analysis and generalization. Results. The results of the study consist in identifying the historical experience of several educational institutions of professional pedagogical education in the region in training teachers for national schools in Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk North, identifying problems and obstacles in the training of pedagogical personnel. In the 1930s, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the task of training pedagogues for national schools was solved in 3 pedagogical colleges and a pedagogical institute at special departments and in the form of additional classes. By the 1940s, this activity was discontinued for a number of reasons: lack of funding, the remoteness of educational institutions from national schools, lack of methodological experience for governing structures, and the policy of Russification of the population in the second half of the 1930s.

Cloud storage, one of the core services of cloud computing, provides an effective way to solve the problems of storage and management caused by high-speed data growth. Thus, a growing number of organizations and individuals tend to store their data in the cloud. However, due to the separation of data ownership and management, it is difficult for users to check the integrity of data in the traditional way. Therefore, many researchers focus on developing several protocols, which can remotely check the integrity of data in the cloud. In this paper, we propose a novel public auditing protocol based on the adjacency-hash table, where dynamic auditing and data updating are more efficient than those of the state of the arts. Moreover, with such an authentication structure, computation and communication costs can be reduced effectively. The security analysis and performance evaluation based on comprehensive experiments demonstrate that our protocol can achieve all the desired properties and outperform the state-of-the-art ones in computing overheads for updating and verification.

Leading paradigms to develop, deploy, and operate applications such as continuous delivery, configuration management, and the merge of development and operations (DevOps) are the foundation for various techniques and tools to implement automated deployment. To make such applications available for users and customers, these approaches are typically used in conjunction with Cloud computing to automatically provision and manage underlying resources such as storage and virtual servers. A major class of these automation approaches follow the idea of converging toward a desired state of a resource (e.g. a middleware component deployed on a virtual machine). This is achieved by repeatedly executing idempotent scripts to reach the desired state. Because of major drawbacks of this approach, we discuss an alternative deployment automation approach based on compensation and fine-grained snapshots using container virtualization. We perform an evaluation comparing both approaches in terms of difficulties at design time and performance at runtime. Moreover, we discuss concepts, strategies, and implementations to effectively combine different deployment automation approaches.
