Financial literacy, in its shortest definition, is the ability of individuals to use money rationally. Today, young individuals' infrastructure and kits are not enough to understand finance and make the right decisions in the modern financial world. It is extremely essential for young university students to have sufficient financial literacy in order to have a high tendency to consume and to be individuals who will go into business life in the near future. In this study, the authors conduct a scale study to measure the financial literacy levels of undergraduate students and its relation to the digital environment in the 2020-2021 academic year. The scale consists of three factors under the headings of financial information, financial prudence, and borrowing attitude, and 20 sub-items. In the study, the authors also compare the financial literacy variable with sociodemographic, socioeconomic, and descriptive variables by using t-test and ANOVA analysis. The findings show that there are no significant differences among undergraduate students.

AbstractEarly childhood mathematics education is one of compulsory subjects for undergraduate students of PGPAUD Universitas Dharmas Indonesia. Researcher as well as lecturer pengampu this subject, using the method of lecturing and question and answer at the meeting to one to the fourth. However, according to researcher observations, students are less active to ask and express opinions. On the one hand the author realizes the potential of the students is very large because students who take this course in the academic year 2016/2017, most of the teachers PAUD spread across several districts in Bungo, Dharmasraya, Kerinci and Sijunjung who have minimal experience Two years of teaching. The author tries to apply student learning model facilitator and explaining for the fifth to seventh meeting, and make observations to see the effect on student activeness. The research design used a one-pretest-posttest design. The hypothesis was tested using paired sample t test with SPSS 20 software. The author used 95% confidence level. From the results of data analysis obtained value of significance of 0.01. So it can be concluded that there is influence of applying student learning model facilitator and explaining on early childhood mathematics education subject to the liveliness of PGPAUD students of Universitas Dharmas Indonesia.Keyword: Explaining, Learning Model, PGPAUD, Student Facilitator.

Objectives. The main objectives of this study were to estimate the prevalence of tobacco use and behavioral patterns among undergraduate students at higher education institutions in the Jazan Region of Saudi Arabia during the 2011-2012 academic year and to investigate factors that contribute to tobacco use by gender.Methods. A cross-sectional study of 4100 undergraduate students was conducted. An anonymous self-administered questionnaire was used to collect information on the extent and pattern of tobacco consumption and factors associated with tobacco use.Results. Current smokers accounted for 16.8% (95% CI: 15.6–18.1) of the population sampled; 25.6% (95% CI: 23.8–27.5) of males were current smokers, whereas only 4.6% (95% CI: 3.6–5.8) of females were current smokers (P=0.000). Multivariate analysis revealed that the most important variables explaining tobacco use among study participants were the use of khat (OR=14.05;P=0.000), smoking status of friends (OR=2.25;P=0.000), and substance use by friends (OR=1.81;P=0.001).Conclusions. The results demonstrated that khat use was the main predictor for smoking in Jazan for both males and females. Interventions should be designed to reduce the use of tobacco among university students.

AbstractA university subject on leadership and intrapersonal development was delivered during the academic year of 2012–2013 to the first-year university students. The teacher taught four classes of a total of 268 undergraduate students coming from four different disciplines. The teacher shares her experience in teaching the subject with reference to the stages of forming, storming, norming and performing that the students had gone through. Personal reflections on teaching the subject as well as perceived benefits to the students are also highlighted. The teacher deeply reflects on the essence of university education in the cultivation of the leadership and intrapersonal attributes of the students. In facing the growing trend of “McDonaldization” and commercialization of university education, a general education subject that emphasizes the intrapersonal and interpersonal qualities of the students, and fosters the holistic development of the students is essential in university education.

This study explored the sexual education perceptions in the Palestinian society, as perceived by Al-Quds University students. Perceptions regarding sexual education were evaluated using an index with 50 items, which was developed by the researchers. It was administrated to 369 undergraduate students who were selected using the stratified method. The findings show that students at Al-Quds University were moderately knowledgeable of sexual education; females had fewer knowledge of sexual education than males. The statistics show that gender, school, academic year and religious commitment are significant predictors of students' perceptions of sexual education. Sexual education is a sensitive and sometimes taboo concept in the conservative Palestinian society that adheres to its religious, cultural and moral values.
