In spite of the increasing significance of broadband, many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are unaware of or unappreciative of its benefits. This is potentially a problem for governments, Internet Service Providers and other supply side institutions. The current study empirically verifies applicability of an extended IS continuance model controlling for organizational variables based on the Technology-Organization-Environment framework to examine factors influencing broadband post-adoption behavior of SMEs in Singapore. Strong support for the model has been manifested by the results, providing insight into influential factors. Results of the study suggest that perceived usefulness is a strong predictor of users’ continuance intention, followed by satisfaction with broadband usage as a significant but weaker predictor. SMEs in a more competitive business environment and whose key executive possesses greater IT knowledge are more likely to use broadband.

The study examines the intention to continue using mobile banking services among SMEs in Tanzania. The study extended the ECS-IS model by adding three variables: ease-of-use, perceived trust, and attitude to address the existing challenges in continuance usage of mobile banking services. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire from company's owners and managers. A total of 287 responses were used in data analysis. SEM technique was employed to evaluate the measurement and structural models. The study found that satisfaction and attitude have a direct influence on continuance usage of mobile banking among SMEs in Tanzania. Furthermore, confirmation, perceived trust, and perceived usefulness have an indirect effect on continuance usage of mobile banking services among SMEs. The study provides useful insights which could be used by mobile banking service providers to improve banking services delivered through mobile technology. Furthermore, the findings will assist scholars in understanding the antecedents which affect continuance usage of mobile banking services among SMEs.

 The purpose of this article is to present evidence of a study conducted in two provinces of South Africa and one in China. The study investigated the effectiveness of the support mechanism for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and how government support agencies are making strides in providing this support. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with branch managers, a project director and business advisors. It emerged from the findings that efforts are being made to provide valuable support to small businesses. It further emerged that small businesses still face challenges such as lack of access to funding, market to serve, lack of a one-stop office and the unwillingness of service providers to enter into contract with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (more relevant to the South African situation).It is recommended that financial service providers partner with SME support agencies.

  The adaptation and innovation of the healthcare business strategy during the pandemic and new normal is needed now, for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) which are engaged in Internet Service Providers (ISP) especially in running their business in pandemic also face the future challenging. This study aims to prove that virtualization technology planning, virtualization technology adaptability, and server consolidation services have a positive effect on healthcare management and business, such as operational costs with an impact on more efficient of healthcare small and medium enterprises (SMEs) Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Indonesia. The data were taken from distributing questionnaires to 77 company representative respondents with the positions of IT Manager, IT Supervisor, and CIO. Data were analyzed by SEM using Smart PLS. The results of the research obtained prove that the operational cost effectiveness of Data Center management is influenced by planning, adaptability, and application of virtualization technology for 5.0. SMES ISPs in Indonesia healthcare sector need to pay attention to new result of planning, adaptability, and implementation of server consolidation services as a determinant of operational and cost effectiveness related to business objectives and management in managing a Data Center in the pandemic, new normal and future challenges.

The number of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in 2019, recorded 42 million business units. Thus the majority of our economic actors are small and medium enterprises. In addition, this sector also absorbs 79 million people from the 100 million Indonesian workforce. Therefore, it is necessary to make various efforts to develop small businesses in Indonesia, so that this sector develops better. SMEs that are able to survive for a long time are industries that are able to anticipate changes in every era. Those who are able to withstand the conditions of the times are those who are able to adapt to changes and are able to build networks. Every UKM has a goal to achieve growth and survival for the long term. In the current era of globalization, where competition between companies is getting tighter. SMEs are required to have the ability to develop strategic choices in the field of marketing management so that they are able to adapt to the adaptability of a dynamic business environment. Seeing this fact, the company must be managed with systematic and dynamic efforts to benefit from the ever-changing market developments. For this study, the population used was 157 batik business owners in Cirebon Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was a non-probability technique, non-probability sampling by means of a census. With this method, researchers used the entire population as the sample because the population was relatively small for the size in the SEM model. In Kyrgyzstan, are 10 399 small businesses and 710 medium-sized enterprises. Most of them are headed by entrepreneurs who, starting from scratch, overcome countless obstacles, as many entrepreneurs do not have the notion and skills in doing business. But, nevertheless, there is a positive tendency in entrepreneurs to get knowledge on the legal conditions of the enterprise, taxation, accounting, analysis of their financial condition, and business planning. All this knowledge is necessary, but they cover the microlevel, while for an adequate, sustainable and profitable development there is an objective need for analyzing the macro environment of the business. In this report, we will consider the relevance of the use of certain marketing tools with which you can identify the threats and opportunities facing domestic business, as well as assess the impact of global factors that predetermine the future development of the business environment. Research in this area is currently being carried out by the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the Government Development Program "Jany Doordo - kyrk kadam (2018-2023) Kadam 8" Support for Small and Medium Enterprises.

It is estimated that there are 1,004,200 private sector small businesses in Australia, of which almost 900,000 were non-agricultural businesses, and 104,500 in the agriculture, forestry and fishing businesses (DEWRSB, 1997). It is also estimated that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)1 employ 51% of the private sector workforce (SBDC, 1999) and so make a substantial contribution to the nation’s economy and employment. This pattern is not unique to Australia but reflected in many developed and developing economies around the world. In general, therefore, SMEs have been strongly encouraged by government to embrace the new e-business environment and expand their global reach with enhanced productivity. However, the relationship between SMEs and e-business has been found to be an uncomfortable fit. SMEs have been reluctant to adopt electronic commerce principles and practices in their day-to-day business transactions (Beer, 1999; DIST, 1998; Shern, 1998; SBI, 1998; Yen, 1998) for a wide variety of reasons.

Mobile phones have undeniably brought a paradigm shift, affecting both the lives of people and the business environment. Today, mobile phone has permeated the lives of billions of people around the world, becoming for many an indispensable device. Moreover, adoption of mobile banking has significant impact on reducing costs and enabling change in retail banking. Factors influencing the intention to use or adopt mobile banking are very important and will play a vital role for mobile banking service providers. The proposed study focuses on a comprehensive set of potential factors that influence the adoption of mobile banking. The research model identifies appropriate factors and captures dependency relationships among these factors in the form of a number of hypotheses to be tested in this research. This paper aims to design a scale with a high degree of reliability, validity, and dimensionality which helps to determine the appropriate technology adoption model based on the identified constructs, viz. Optimism (OPTI), Innovativeness (INNO), Insecurity (INSC), Discomfort (DISC), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Perceived Risk (PR), Subjective Norms (SN), Attitude (ATTI), Behavioural Control (BC) and Behavioural Intention (BI). The data were collected through questionnaire survey from 201 respondents comprising software engineers, bank employees, professors, entrepreneurs. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the validity of the proposed measurement scale for all the identified constructs. This instrument helps bankers to determine and design there applications which will contribute to the knowledge of predicting customer intention.

Many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) want to introduce recommendation services to boost sales, but they need to have sufficient amounts of data to introduce these recommendation services. This study proposes an extrapolative collaborative filtering (ECF) system that does not directly share data among SMEs but improves recommendation performance for small and medium-sized companies that lack data through the extrapolation of data, which can provide a magical experience to users. Previously, recommendations were made utilizing only data generated by the merchant itself, so it was impossible to recommend goods to new users. However, our ECF system provides appropriate recommendations to new users as well as existing users based on privacy-preserved payment transaction data. To accomplish this, PP2Vec using Word2Vec was developed by utilizing purchase information only, excluding personal information from payment company data. We then compared the performances of single-merchant models and multi-merchant models. For the merchants with more data than SMEs, the performance of the single-merchant model was higher, while for the SME merchants with fewer data, the multi-merchant model’s performance was higher. The ECF System proposed in this study is more suitable for the real-world business environment because it does not directly share data among companies. Our study shows that AI (artificial intelligence) technology can contribute to the sustainability and viability of economic systems by providing high-performance recommendation capability, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups.
