This paper presents the state of the art on interoperability developments for the social and solidarity economy (SSE) community web based information systems (WIS); it also presents a framework of interoperability for the SSE' WIS and the developments made in a research-in-progress PhD project in the last 3 years. A search on the bibliographic databases showed that so far there are no papers on interoperability initiatives on the SSE, so it was necessary to have other sources of information: a preliminary analysis of the WIS that support SSE activities; and interviews with the representatives of some of the world's most important SSE organisations. The study showed that the WIS are still not interoperable yet. In order to become interoperable a group of the SSE community has been developing a Dublin Corre Application Profile to be used by the SSE community as reference and binding to describe their resources. This paper also describes this on-going process.

This chapter presents the state-of-the-art on interoperability developments for the social and solidarity economy web based information systems. A search on the bibliographic databases showed that there are no articles on interoperability initiatives on the social and solidarity economy, so it was necessary to have other sources of information: a preliminary analysis of the platforms that support social and solidarity economy activities; and interviews with the representatives of some of the world’s most important social and solidarity economy organizations. The study showed that the platforms are still not interoperable, but that there are efforts in this direction promoted by the social and solidarity economy organizations. It is clear that these organizations will need to find a common framework of understanding in order to implement interoperability among their platforms.

This chapter presents the process of developing a Metadata Application Profile for the Social and Solidarity Economy (DCAP-SSE) using Me4MAP, a method for developing Application Profiles that was being put forth by the authors. The DCAP-SSE and Me4MAP were developed iteratively, feeding new developments into each other. This paper presents how the DCAP-SSE was developed showing the steps followed through the development of the activities and the techniques used, and the final deliverables obtained at the end of each activity. It also presents the work-team and how each profile of the team contributed for the DCAP-SSE development process. The DCAP-SSE has been endorsed by the SSE community and new perspectives of SSE activities have been defined for future enlargement of the DCAP-SSE. At the time of writing this chapter, Linked Open SSE Data is being published, they are the first examples of use of the DCAP-SSE.

This article defines a comprehensive set of guiding principles, called philosophy of architecture design (PAD), as a means of coping with the architecture design complexity and managing the architectural assets of Web information systems in a service-oriented paradigm. This coherent model comprises a multidimensional collection of key guiding principles and criteria in system analysis, modeling, design, development, testing, deployment, operations, management, and governance. The systematic framework provides a multidisciplinary view of the design tenets, idioms, principles, and styles (TIPS) in the IT architecting practices for engineering process and quality assurance. There are 26 constituent elements defined in the scheme, the names of which form an array of A-Z using the first letter. The characteristics and applicability of all 26 dimensions in the PAD model are articulated in detail. Recommendations and future trends are also presented in the context. This overarching model has been extensively leveraged in one format or another to design a wide range of Web-based systems in various industry sectors.

Web information systems engineering means a collection of sound principles, methods, techniques and tools for developing Web-based information systems, which differ from traditional information systems in their unique technological platform and design philosophy. Key features of Web information systems engineering beyond traditional and object-oriented information systems development include emphasis on user navigation, the multilevel interactivity of the environment, and the advanced hypertext functionality in target information systems. A starting point for designing and modeling Web information systems is that these are essentially hypertext information systems. This chapter will specify requirements for Web information systems engineering methodologies from the viewpoints of hypermedia communication environments, adaptive hypermedia systems, and mobile hypermedia.

Education is a right for every citizen. Quality education makes people more intelligent. Educational outcomes documented in a file called a diploma. A diploma is a necessary file for doing things related to work or other administrative matters. Generally, the diploma file submitted is in the form of a photocopy of a certificate that has been legalized for administrative requirements. The process of legalizing diplomas is often a hindrance because the time required is quite long and especially if someone is in an area far from where to take care of legalization. In the industrial era 4.0, information technology can be utilized to facilitate public access to services in the world of education, for example, using technology to implement an online legalization system. Application of technology in the legalization process is not just online but can be integrated with API (Application Programming Interface). It can attract millennial access to the application easily. There are two APIs used, namely the Shipping API and the Social Messaging API. Shipping API makes it easy to check shipping costs based on alumni location. Social messaging API with assistant features so that it can be easier to serve alumni accessing application features via Telegram. This study aims to facilitate the alumni in legalizing online to make time-efficient and affordable—implementation of information systems with the integrated website media Telegram API and Rajaongkir or shipping cost API. Based on testing the usability testing results obtained a value of 4.56 on a scale of 5. These results indicate that the application can function following the needs of users of information systems.

Abstract Rahayu Printing is a business entity that provides merchandising services such as wedding invitations, circumcision invitations, business cards, notes, letterhead, yasin and others. Based on sales that have been achieved so far, Rahayu Printing felt not satisfied with the results obtained and trying to increase sales and service through online sales system. Sales that go so far encounter obstacles in the process of marketing from consumers to consumers, the sale of goods still use a system of sales in the form of book-shaped catalogs, very tight competition, locations adjacent to other printing, and constraints from distance and time to obtain information on shopping in printing . It makes the sale less cost saving, energy and time because the system used still manually. The method used in the design of information systems sales of goods is waterfall method. From the manufacture of web-based goods sales system, is expected to solve the existing constraints, simplify, accelerate the sales system and hopefully can increase profits on the sale of goods Rahayu Bekasi Printing.   Keywords: Goods, Information, Sales, Printing, Waterfall.                                                                   Abstrak                                                                  Percetakan Rahayu merupakan sebuah badan usaha yang menyediakan jasa penjualan barang seperti undangan pernikahan, undangan khitanan, kartu nama, nota, kop surat, yasin dan lain-lain.
