This paper presents the state of the art on interoperability developments for the social and solidarity economy (SSE) community web based information systems (WIS); it also presents a framework of interoperability for the SSE' WIS and the developments made in a research-in-progress PhD project in the last 3 years. A search on the bibliographic databases showed that so far there are no papers on interoperability initiatives on the SSE, so it was necessary to have other sources of information: a preliminary analysis of the WIS that support SSE activities; and interviews with the representatives of some of the world's most important SSE organisations. The study showed that the WIS are still not interoperable yet. In order to become interoperable a group of the SSE community has been developing a Dublin Corre Application Profile to be used by the SSE community as reference and binding to describe their resources. This paper also describes this on-going process.

Android, Geographic Information Systems, RESTful, Web One of the mapping technologies widely used today is Geographic Information Systems. Geographic Information Systems (GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS) is a mapping technology in the form of computer-based information systems, designed to work using data that has spatial information or spatial reference. Mapping technology is widely used to facilitate human work. In this research, Geographic Information System technology was used to support one of the business processes at the Bandar Lampung City Tourism Office. This system was built to assist related agencies in recording tourist sites. The system consists of a web-based system and Android-based applications that are connected using RESTful Web Service. The system is implemented using the PHP programming language with the help of CodeIgniter for web-based systems, and the Java programming language for Android-based applications. The method of developing the system used is the waterfall model method according to Rossa U.S. and Saladin (2014). Application design is based on Unified Modeling Language (UML), flowchart diagrams, and interface design. While the application used in the creation of the Android base system is Android Studio. The testing method used is the system's functional Black-Box. The results of black-box testing data show that the system runs as it should, the system is easy to understand by users, and can meet the functional needs of the system needed by the Bandar Lampung City Tourism Office

Abstract The organization is a unit that is a means to achieve various goals or targets carried out through joint activities. In achieving organizational goals certainly will not be separated from various problems. One way to solve the problem is to discuss the problem in a meeting. Meetings are used to find solutions to problems that are expected to reach consensus, resolution, and decision. In this study will develop an application that is used for meeting management. The meetings that have been held will be grouped according to their main activities. So it can be seen how many times a meeting has been held and what the results will be. Office internal applications for documentation of web-based meeting results are built using the PHP programming language and using a MySQL database. The framework used is Laravel. System development method with a waterfall model. From the results of testing with the blackbox method it is known that the office's internal application for the documentation of the results of the web-based meeting is 100% as planned. Keywords: Internal Office Application Meetings, Frameworks, Laravel, Meeting Information Systems. __________________________

Open Source developers play fundamental determinant role in the life of any open source project. This paper investigates developer motivation in contributing tirelessly to an open source project. Open source Onions were investigated and the developer layer modeled and validated based on ten case studies from SourceForge. Validation was based on Delphi's four rounds of successive stages. Results show that 62% of the developers around an open source development project community are skilled programmers, and that Open source developers are largely motivated by web based development platforms with universal programming language such as Java and that Developers are mostly attracted to the GPL licensed software development project with high project publicity as could be tracked from the hit rate on the project website. Finally, the few Core developers (Project Administrators) of about 19% actually controls and oversees the affairs carried out by about 81% of many developers showing the prominence of Pareto80/20 Principle in Open Source Project development.

This chapter focuses on the DistrictBuilder software. The DistrictBuilder application is a cornerstone of the Public Mapping Project, intended to foster greater public participation and transparency in redistricting. It is among the new generation of redistricting applications that are web-based, so people can immediately begin mapping without having to worry about software installation and data management. What distinguishes DistrictBuilder from other redistricting applications is that it is open-source software, which means anyone can obtain the software at no cost. Ultimately, DistrictBuilder empowers humans instead of relying on machines. It does this for two reasons. First, humans often perform better than computers in processing visual information like geographic units awaiting assignment to districts. Second, redistricting plans are proposals for political representation—although made in a technical form. Since there is no universally agreed-upon measure of representation, it is important for the public to be able to express proposals that reflect their conception of what representation means.
