With the development of the city, there has more and more high rise buildings, people has serious attention on the security problems of the high rise buildings. Code for deformation measurement of building and structure asks that, deformation monitoring for high-rise building during service stage is necessary. During servicing stage of the high-rise building, owing to the change of site conditions, it is difficult to use former monitoring way. GPS plays a incomparable role in the deformation monitoring during the servicing stage for its advantages of high precision, fast speed and easy operation. This paper introduces the monitoring way and data processing of using GPS for high-rise building during servicing stage, using a example to prove that the application of GPS in deformation monitoring for high-rise building during servicing stage is feasible.

Abstract Global satellite navigation system has become one of the top technical means in the world. The use of satellite navigation in many fields, such as deformation measurement, civil navigation, search resources, geodetic survey, auxiliary precision engineering monitoring and so on, can play its high precision positioning, all-weather monitoring and other technical characteristics. At the same time, satellite navigation system is combined with modern information technology. Internet technology and so on, which realizes the automatic collection, transmission, processing and analysis of safety monitoring data, and the application efficiency is maximized. The present situation and application of satellite navigation system to monitor the deformation of high-rise buildings are studied in this paper. Nowadays, more and more high-rise buildings in the world have sprung up like bamboo shoots. Therefore, how to realize the satellite navigation system to carry on the all-weather, the high precision, the high efficiency monitoring to the high-rise building, carries on the diagnosis to the dangerous signal in time, timely carries on the forecast to the future possible danger and the timely stop loss, this has the very important realistic significance. By reading the literature, the paper expounds the concepts of satellite navigation system, satellite navigation system and Internet technology in detail. The paper mainly takes the high-rise building scaffold as the object of deformation monitoring, and expounds the advantages and reliability of GPS as high-tech for deformation monitoring of high-rise buildings. Finally, through experimental design, the recognition of GPS technology by comparative method reflects the inestimable position of satellite navigation technology.

Today, most of the cities in the world encounter the phenomenon of high rise building. The growth of high rise building in Tangail pourashava has been considerably increased since the last few years. Though high-rise buildings helped in solving the problem of shortage of land and housing, it also caused many problems in different environmental, structural, spatial, functional, socio-economical, and demographic aspects of the city. Our study was to identify the location of high-rise buildings, to classify these buildings by their uses and to investigate the Structural and functional characteristics of high-rise buildings in Tangail Pourashava. For the study both primary and secondary data were collected, primary data has been collected from field survey and secondary data has been collected from different journals and published and unpublished publications. The study also focused on the existing high-rise buildings safety and security system available in those buildings and made recommendation that the buildings should follow the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) guidance strictly to ensure all safety aspects.J. A city high-rise building of the environmental balance, and its prominent position in the image and the place has a special symbol. However, high-rise buildings developed to reduce the symbolic value that it has attributed to the relevant system of architectural forms. As more and more dense urban high-rise buildings stand, we should be carefully evaluated: its ecological evvironment, will be the effect? Because of its height and volume, a high-rise building than in the top or bottom is likely in terms of physical environment on the social environment and the impact is much greater. Disturb the existing high-rise buildings in varying degrees between the various functions of the city, increasing the city high-rise buildings in the moment, how to properly control the rapid of high-rise buildings in order to maintain a sustainable ecosystem, is a question worth considering.

Accurately estimating the deformation of high-rise building is a very important work for surveyors, however it is very difficult to get an accurate and reliable predictor. In this paper, artificial neural network has been applied here because of its good ability of nonlinear fitting. On the basis of the high-rise building monitoring data, three prediction models including the BP, RBF and GRNN neural network prediction models were established, the comparative analysis for the prediction accuracy of the three models was obtained. The results show that neural network is capable for prediction, and GRNN possess higher capability in prediction and better adaptability in comparing with other two neural networks.

In this paper, design of a high-rise building are analyzed, and puts forward the high-rise building design should be based on city space planning, as far as possible to reduce the interference to the city space environment. The design ideas of coordination, integration, humanity are also proposed, so as to enhance the image of high-rise buildings and the city's environmental quality.

The paper deals with issues of high-rise building development and contemporary problems related to the formation of city development vision in Lithuania. The analysis focuses on the possibilities and problems arising in the process of developing the Special Plan of high-rise building arrangement in Klaipėda in the formation of the visual image of the city. The methodology of this Plan is discussed by the author in two papers. The present paper is the first one and analyses two stages of the plan development. The first stage is the analysis of the current situation in Klaipėda and possibilities to introduce high-rise buildings into the city morphostructure. This stage comprises 7 aspects: evaluation of the territory development from the point of view of investment possibilities; historical development of the city structure; hierarchy of values of preserved territories; analysis of the territory planning documents regulating townscape formation; evaluation of visual peculiarities; definition of visual identity zones, analysis and evaluation of important mass view points as well as evolvents of views seen from them. The second stage of developing the Special Plan constitutes efforts to define the conception of high-rise buildings arrangement on a city scale, central part scale and old-town scale. Santrauka Straipsnis skirtas aukštybinės statybos plėtros klausimui ir su tuo susijusioms šiandieninėms miesto plėtros vizijos formavimo problemoms Lietuvoje. Nagrinėjamos Klaipėdos miesto vizualinio įvaizdžio plėtros galimybės ir problemos rengiant Klaipėdos miesto aukštybinių pastatų išdėstymo specialųjį planą (SP). Šio plano metodikai aptarti autorė numatė parengti du straipsnius. Šiame, pirmajame, liečiamos dvi plano rengimo stadijos. Pirmoji – tai esama Klaipėdos miesto būklė, galimybės miesto morfostruktūroje rastis aukštybiniams pastatams; jos aptarimas apima 7 aspektus – miesto teritorijos pagal investicines plėtros galimybes vertinimą; miesto struktūros istorinę raidą; saugomų teritorijų vertybinę hierarchiją; dokumentų sprendinių, turinčių įtakos miestovaizdžių formavimui, analizę; vizualinių ypatumų vertinimą; miesto vizualinio identiteto zonų nustatymą ir svarbiausių masinės apžvalgos taškų bei iš jų matomo vaizdo išklotinių tyrimą ir nustatymą. Antroji plano rengimo stadija – tai aukštybinių pastatų išdėstymo koncepcijos paieškos miesto mastu, centrinės dalies mastu ir senamiesčio mastu.

A V-shaped hybrid mass damper has been developed with a view to reducing the vibration induced by wind or earthquake excitation on a 230m high-rise building. The passive pendulum mechanism comprised of a Vshaped sliding mass is combined with the active control of the mass movement driven by a servo motor, and the mechanical system has been further refined for compactness and easy operation of tuning the natural frequency. The high performance of the device has been verified by numerical analyses and experimental tests conducted in a laboratory prior to its installation in the building concerned.
