A modeling method of single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic micro-inverter is presented in this paper, which depends on the topology structure of fly-back converter. Simulation of the micro-inverter is performed using Matlab software, which has the virtues of high accuracy and fast speed. Prototype experiment results show that the simulation model can be a true reflection of the working process of a micro-inverter, and could be used to verify the control algorithm and select the control parameters.

This paper deals with the analysis of interharmonics, which are due to the presence of a nonlinear load. The tool for the analysis was a mathematical apparatus - wavelet packet transform. Which has a number of advantages over the traditional Fourier transform. A simulation model was developed in Simulink to simulate a non-stationary non-sinusoidal mode. The use of the wavelet packet transform will allow to determine the mode parameters with high accuracy from the obtained wavelet coefficients. It also makes it possible to obtain information, both in the frequency domain of the signal and in the time domain.

Large and small single-phase and three-phase induction motors are commonly used in industrial applications. The present work represents an attempt towards the design of a high accuracy system for the measurement of fractional horsepower (FHP) induction motor losses and efficiency. The calorimeter designed and built is capable of measuring heat losses of up to 1 kW with an overall accuracy better than 3%. During all tests, ambient temperature, humidity, motor speed and motor frame temperature were recorded using precise digital instruments. The inlet, outlet temperatures and resulting losses were recorded automatically using a high accuracy 12-bit data acquisition system. The preliminary results obtained demonstrate the suitability of the designed calorimeter for the accurate measurement of losses in FHP induction motors.

In this paper, an approach to generate robust control algorithm for the single phase PFC boost converter is presented. This control rules provide fast output response while maintaining high power factor. This approach is based on derivation of the control functions for both current loop and voltage loop which is multi-loop control structure. Designing of the control parameters are based on the required transient and the steady-state responses. Due to application of feedback linearization the performance of the of this control scheme is robust under all practical conditions. This method eliminates the nonlinearity and the dependence of the error dynamics on the input disturbance. Experiments are conducted to evaluate the control performance.
