For the development research for a new 8 step speed automatic transmission, a simplified dynamic model for this transmission was established. Aimed at four basic shift types, the ideal characteristics of shift clutch and engine control were set up. By using torque estimation method, PI slip control algorithm and engine coordinated control principle, the control model were developed for two main shift phases which are torque phase and inertia phase. The test on the rig and vehicle verified the accuracy and feasibility of this shift control strategy. The development model and algorithm have a high value for engineering application.

An automatic transmission shift method is presented, in which the torque transfer phase is controlled in closed loop. This is made possible by real-time estimation of the torque transmitted by the off-going and on-coming clutches participating in the shift. Each clutch torque is determined based on measured or estimated input and output shaft torques and accelerations. To illustrate an application of the method, traditional friction elements are used to emulate one-way-clutch function during a power-on upshift.

Indirect stabilization technology can make the optical seeker lower cost and more compact, but it will also decrease the system’s performance. In order to improve the line-of-sight (LOS) stabilization precision, the indirect stabilized seeker’s model and loop control algorithm must be deeply studied. In this paper, the dynamic model of LOS coordinate frame is created according to the working principle of indirect stabilization system; A new no-angle-error control scheme was proposed. For severse disturbance environment, a feedforward torque compensation control algorithm was proposed based on disturbance torque estimation. The simulation and experiment results show that the proposed control approach can make the system tracking the instruction angular rate quickly and exactly, and also have the strong disturbance resistance ability. The study result will have great significance to the indirect stabilization technology’s theory study and engineering application.

Shift process of automatic transmission is divided into torque phases and inertia phase, and the control principle of clutch to clutch shift is studied with the lever method. Then, inertia phase engine and transmission integrated control principle and entire shift process engine and transmission integrated control principle are respectively studied with taking power on up shift as study example and taking the transmission output torque fluctuations during shifting minimum as control target. Simulation results are compared to the results of power on up shift without engine and transmission integrated control, and it is proved that the transmission output torque overshoot peak with inertia phase engine and transmission integrated control strategy is decreased significantly and shifting jerks are reduced. Shift quality is improved significantly.

In the Greek Classical period, the symposium—the social gathering at which male citizens gathered to drink wine and engage in conversation—was held in a room called the andron. From couches set up around the perimeter of the andron, symposiasts looked inward to the room’s center, which often was decorated with a pebble mosaic floor. These mosaics provided visual treats for the guests, presenting them with images of mythological scenes, exotic flora, dangerous beasts, hunting parties, or the specter of Dionysos, the god of wine, riding in his chariot or on the back of a panther. This book takes as its subject these mosaics and the context of their viewing. Relying on discourses in the sociology and anthropology of space, it argues that the andron’s mosaic imagery actively contributed to a complex, metaphorical experience of the symposium. In combination with the ritualized circling of the wine cup from couch to couch around the room and the physiological reaction to wine, the images of mosaic floors called to mind other images, spaces, or experiences, and, in doing so, prompted drinkers to reimagine the symposium as another kind of event—a nautical voyage, a journey to a foreign land, the circling heavens or a choral dance, or the luxury of an abundant past. Such spatial metaphors helped to forge the intimate bonds of friendship that are the ideal result of the symposium and that make up the political and social fabric of the Greek polis.

In this paper, a 2 stage continuously variable transmission (CVT) shift control algorithm is proposed for the 1–2 upshift of the planetary gear to achieve the shift quality. A fuzzy control algorithm is designed considering the relatively slower response characteristics of CVT. In order to evaluate the performance of the control algorithm, a 2 stage CVT vehicle simulator is developed including a dynamic model of the CVT powertrain. From the simulation results, it is found that CVT gear ratio changes faster in the inertia phase and remains constant after the inertia phase of the planetary gear shift, which provides the reduced torque variation by the proposed control algorithm.

The selection of hospital sites is one of the most important choice a decision maker has to take so as to resist the pandemic. The decision may considerably affect the outbreak transmission in terms of efficiency , budget, etc. The main targeted objective of this study is to find the ideal location where to set up a hospital in the willaya of Oran Alg. For this reason, we have used a geographic information system coupled to the multi-criteria analysis method AHP in order to evaluate diverse criteria of physiological positioning , environmental and economical. Another objective of this study is to evaluate the advanced techniques of the automatic learning . the method of the random forest (RF) for the patterning of the hospital site selection in the willaya of Oran. The result of our study may be useful to decision makers to know the suitability of the sites as it provides a high level of confidence and consequently accelerate the power to control the COVID19 pandemic.

A novel vector control system of the split double-rotor motor based on indirect vector control principle has been proposed. The mathematic models of the primary machine and the secondary machine are set up respectively. Through the coupling of the two models, the system model of the split double-rotor motor is build. Matlab software is used for the simulation and analysis of this indirect vector control system. According to the simulation results, the validity of system model is proved with nicer static and dynamic capability, and without steady-state error in stable state. These are important to analyze and design the double-rotor motor. Furthermore, the results provide the basis for simulation and apply of double-rotor motor in HEV.
