This work presents a new detection system for seed viability assessment. The theoretical of the system is based on laser speckle or dynamic speckle, an optical phenomenon produced by interference of light. In the present work, the detection of a single in a period of time is been concentrate. The various parts and working principle of the laser speckle detection system explain detailed and the feasibility of this system is experiment in this paper. The result shows that this system is available in this field, and it can support the further study.

<em>Flood disasters still occur regularly and continuously in Indonesia. Flooding can occur due to the volume of water in the river beyond the river body. Many impacts caused by flooding, not only material losses, flooding can also cause loss of life. The impact of flooding can be reduced if people are better prepared to face the flood. One way is to quickly disseminate information on river water levels to the community. It is necessary to make a solution on how to design an automatic sluice using Arduino UNO R3 and how to monitor the water situation during floods. The working principle of this tool uses an ultrasonic sensor as a water level detector, Arduino as a data processor, servo motor as opening and closing the door bar automatically and the modem as an SMS notification. Because design based detection system is needed In this study there are two formulations of the problem (i) How to design flood altitude detection devices using Arduino uno r3 which can open and close automatically. (ii) How to test the flood altitude detection system using a wavecome modem. The research objective is divided into two parts (i) Creating a series of flood elevation devices using Arduino r3 so that it can open and close automatically (ii) Gets the results of flood elevation system testing with an sms gateway</em>

Speckle simulation is a powerful protocol to investigate the properties of speckle and evaluate image processing method. However, only static speckle images can be simulated by available methods without considering time-integrated effect of CCD. A time–integrated dynamic speckle simulation method basedon coherent imaging was developed. Through the new simulation method, the effect of speckle size on LSCI was investigated. The smaller the speckle size is, the higher the spatial resolution become.But the one-dimensional speckle size should exceed two pixels to sample the speckle pattern. The characteristics of existing speckle contrast imaging methods were studied based on spatial statistics, and optimal parameters are given to obtain accurate and less noisy image. In general, the new simulation method for laser speckle imaging is a powerful tool to monitor blood flow in vivo and lay a solid foundation for the study of hemodynamics.

Recently, filling mining is becoming more and more important in the mining industry and has been used widely. In order to better control the process of paste filling mining and acquire the accurate amount of filling material used, and to reduce the waste of paste filling material, we should detect in real time the paste flow in the pipe during the process of filling. This paper introduces in detail the basic principle of ultrasonic detection technology and the hardware composition and working principle of the on-line detection system. The author uses the theory of unascertained error analysis of detecting data and implements ultrasonic detection technology to realize on-line detection of paste filling pipe flow.

This paper describes the working principle of hall sensor and its application in DC stepper motor. It designs a speed detection system for DC stepper motor based on P89V51 Single Chip Microcontroller (SCM), i.e. hardware circuit diagram and software flow chart. It utilizes Hall elements to complete the conversion from speed to pulse and then process the pulse signal to get the quantity of pulse during unit interval. By means of comparison of test and theoretical data, it indicates that the speed measurement system is satisfactory for application in reality.

The user interface made of a LCD (liquid crystal display) screen and a touch screen based on LPC2138 is presented in this paper. The hardware design of the LCD and the touch screen is introduced and the software flow of the LCD and the touch screen is also described in this paper. And this paper proposes the synchronization algorithm which can achieve the LCD and the touch screen point by point with high accuracy and great reliability. On the basis of analyzing the principle of the embedded touch panel system, the working principle and control method of the dedicated controller DV320240GB touch screen are analyzed. The method for obtaining the coordinates of the touch screen and the synchronization algorithm of the LCD display are proposed to improve the efficiency of the touch screen and the LCD. The above-mentioned design has been successfully applied in ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) detection system.

According to the traditional application of the artificial projection method to escape wheel detection, this paper proposes a new method based on digital template, after the introduction of the working principle and advantage, emphatically discuss the algorithm design. The experimental results demonstrate the proposed algorithm has high real-time ability, good reliability and more suitable for practical engineering application.

With the object of optical sensor detects the position of the sun, the working principle of the sun position detection system based on four photosensitive devices was analyzed.The sensitive part of this type of sensors was analyzed with optimization. Silicon photocells were selected as optical elements . The main factors and interactions between them which affect the accuracy of the sensor were analyzed using the idea of orthogonal experiment and related software , the optimal combination for the size of the sensor structure was got.

The pointer position detection is an important part of implementing the bus dashboard functional test using machine vision. This paper introduces the composition and working principle of the dashboard automatic detection system on machine vision. Then, combining with image processing and Hough transform, we get the image analysis algorithm of the dashboard pointer detection. By analyzing a large amount of computation resulted from the fact that traditional Hough transform uses divergent mapping methods, paper puts forward the methods of improving the convergence of the mapping and conducts parameter space mapping, which effectively reduces the amount of computation. After that, combining with the actual picture of a bus dashboard, automatic detection experiment was carried out for the proposed algorithm. Experiments show that algorithm for dashboard pointer position machine visual based on CM-Hough transform can obtain the angle of the pointer, and effectively shorten the time for dashboard functionality test, and improve the efficiency of the production line for passenger bus dashboard.
