This paper analyzes the current information technology and technology limited of electronic commerce platform, and put forward a platform of regional characteristics based on electronic business information publishing system. Finally the paper gives general model and the realization of the platform structure, key technology and process. The platform uses conversion technology of StrutsCX framework based on J2EE platform and the XSLT parsing template of XML document tree that generates and provide automation platform construction features site for the user, it can quickly set up a tourism industry application component with plug-in manner.

The existence of women farmer groups in the use of land for agriculture, such as existing fruit and vegetables, deserves a response to the follow-up, considering that the activities of women farmer groups have great potential. However, the professions as farmers and agricultural laborers, the income of female farmers and agricultural laborers does not necessarily depend on the season. With the ability to manage further processed agricultural products, they can have reliable income and use a marketing system that is adjusted to the times. This research is a model trial with the title "Business Information Technology Models for Women Farmer Group in Indonesia" with the aim of minimizing disparities in the village. By utilizing knowledge, skills and technology, it is hoped that poverty and disparity can be minimized or even eliminated. This research at a macro level provides benefits to stakeholders, namely human resources who supply raw materials, female farmers who are metamorphosed into entrepreneurs, so that domestic and foreign consumers will get superior regional products with high quality.

There is an increasing demand for what we can call pop-science that is pertinent scientific information dedicated to the non-specialists. This demand comes both from professional categories and the general public. Simultaneously in the scientific community there is an increasing consciousness that diffusion of the scientific information is an asset the scientific community cannot afford to overlook. The Internet is a perfect tool to meet this demand. It reaches a large and ever-increasing number of people and permits an interactive and detailed exchange of information. As an experiment of how to combine high quality services and the information technology, we have set up Ulisse - In the net of science (http://ulisse.sissa.it), an innovative Italian project for the popularisation of science via the Internet. Its main purpose is to establish a connection between scientists and the general public. Ulisse is based on three major characteristics: a) high technology to create an efficient and friendly system, b) customisation of the services, c) a network of scientists, which guaranteed the quality of the materials.

Electronic Business (e-Business) is revolutionizing the way of communication between Internal and external stakeholders in an organization. E-business can lead to competitive advantage and at the same time, increase profitability. There are several factors resulting on the success of e-business. One of the most important factors is Security. It is thus clear that information technology (IT) and the emerging e-business application and related to security are gaining a pivotal role in managing supply chain. This paper examines the impact of E-business on supply chain on information security aspect among other types of supply chains. The current paper reviews security and supply chain literatures and then investigates framework of information technology in supply chain management. Areas of supply chain which need security attention are then proposed in e-supply chain information security framework and this will be considered as a guideline for managers to find out if their e-supply chain network is secure enough. Through the paper, one realizes that Information Security in every information based-system will be vital.

This chapter investigates the aspects involved in ERP systems management to understand how such artifacts transform the role of Information Technology (IT) areas within the organizations. ERP systems are currently the main component of the information architecture of most large and medium sized companies and the management of these systems has become a critical part of IT teams’ every day. Initially is proposed a management model for ERP systems based upon a survey of the literature. Next is presented, based upon the model, the analysis of two ERP systems management cases of large sized Brazilian companies. At the end the cases are compared and important observed differences set up the conclusions of this chapter.
