Not only the construction industry as a pillar industry of the national economy, it is a major contributor to the regional economy. Identification of competitive strengths and weaknesses of the Yunnan Province in the western region, the article is based on the improved TOPSIS to analyze. A variety of factors can have an effect on regional construction industry. By combining researches of other scholars and considering of the meaning of construction industry indicator and possibility of data acquisition and analyzing the statistic data of recent three years, is built an evaluation system which contains 5 elements. By some higher mathematics solving method calculates the weight in approach of ranking and comparing competitiveness of the 12 provinces in western region such as Yunnan, Sichuan and Chongqing identifies the regional competitiveness. The consequence shows that the construction industry competitiveness of Yunnan province is at mid-low level among 12 western provinces, but enjoys a good development potential.

<p>With the continuous development of the global economy, the construction technology is also increasingly mature, high-rise buildings are given a new meaning, which highly represents the economic strength of the country. Construction industry plays an important role in China. It is not only a pillar industry, but also an integral part of the national economy. The construction industry is based on civil engineering. At the same time, the safety of engineering and related technology are also important factors that determine the sustainable development of the construction industry. In this context, this paper attempts to analyze the safety problems and technologies in the construction of civil engineering high-rise buildings.</p>

The Impact

The article presents a study on the assessment of the impact of science-intensive machine building on the development of the regional economy and increasing its competitiveness. Based on the analysis of foreign sources, a theoretical justification was given for increasing the regional competitiveness of the economy. The tools of regional support of enterprises of science-intensive machine building and the model of the organizational and economic mechanism for regional development of science-intensive machine building were proposed. It has been proven that the development of science-intensive machine building influences the competitiveness of the region.

Ecological environment is an important external condition for subsistence and development of human being, and urbanization is an important engine to promote regional economy and social development, and whether they can become an organic combination would be crucial for the western region to ensure sustainable development in economy and society. The paper presents the corresponding solution including change of idea about ecology, improvement of environment for urban development, planning in a scientific and reasonable way, upgrading urban evolution system, carrying on industrial transformation, enhancement of the momentum for urban development, building “Two Oriented” society so as to increase urban development quality after analysis of various restrictive factors in development of urbanization in western region under the ecological environment restriction.

In the process of globalization, the integration of world tourism is becoming more and more obvious. Abstract Construction industry is a pillar industry of China's national economy but its problems of high energy consumption, high pollution and low energy efficiency is increasingly prominent. The study on the energy efficiency of construction industry is of great significance for improving development quality and achieving the goal of energy saving and emission reduction. In this paper, a three-stage undesirable SBM-DEA model was employed to measure the energy efficiency in construction industry during 2005 -2016. The CO2 directly emitted by the construction industry and indirectly emitted in the production of building materials were used as the undesirable output and the three-stage framework was employed to analyze and eliminate the influence of external environment. The empirical results showed that low efficiency of management in the construction industry is an important factor leading to the low level of energy efficiency in China’s construction industry. For the energy efficiency value before and after adjustment, the “high-high” provinces has made full use of the superior external environment by their high management level, while the “high-low” provinces needs to fully realize the potential in promoting energy efficiency of its external environment by improving its own management of construction industry. On the contrary, the “low-high” provinces need to improve the external environment to ease its restrictions on the level of management in the construction industry. Environmental factors and management level should be considered simultaneously for different provinces to improve energy efficiency of construction industry.

Construction industry is a main industry in national economy, Chinese construction industry has made huge achievement, but the developments between different provinces in China are imbalanced. To compare the different efficiencies between them, data envelopment analysis and an important extended means of DEA were introduced, compared and applied in empirical analysis of Chinese construction industry efficiency between different provinces based on statistical data. Then some conclusions and advices were reached in the end.

The core of economical and intensive land-use in tourism industry is the land for construction(LC). The paper studied the evaluation system about the economical and intensive land-use of the LC in the tourism industry. And made the cites as the evaluation unit of Yunnan Province, selected seven factors, such as the received tourist of units construction from abroad, the investment of units construction, the income of tourism and so on as the evaluation factors, analyzed and evaluated the status of intensive use of the LC, which provided the basis for the land-use planning of tourism industry in Yunnan Province.
