Extracting dihydromyricetin from Ampelopsis grossedentata by water extraction method. The orthogonal test and single factor experiment were used to optimize the best extraction condition. The ratio of liquid and material is 20:1, extraction time is 90min, extraction temperature is 90°C,holding time is 1d. The results of comparison between two purification methods show: Purify with acetone and recrystallization with water is better. The purity of dihydromyricetin is high to 98%, recovery rate was 59.2%.

The aim of this study was to isolate anthocyanins from Sorbus pohuashanensis. Anthocyanins were extracted from Sorbus pohuashanensis using enzyme hydrolysis and were further purified using macroporous resins. The optimal extraction conditions were investigated using single-factor experiments and an orthogonal experiment, respectively. The extraction yield was 15.33 0.05% under optimal conditions of pH 3.0, pectinase 0.15%, 50C and 2.5 h. Subsequently, three types of macroporous resins, namely D101, D201, D301R, were in turn applied to purify anthocyanins by adsorption and elution. The D101 resin showed an adsorption rate of 93.75% and an elution rate of 45.33%. The best elution parameters were at 25C, 85% ethanol, and pH 4.0 to achieve a purity of 61.93%. This study provided an efficient, sustainable, low-cost anthocyanin extraction method.

HighlightsThis article focuses on the sugarcane top chopper. The influence of three factors on the experimental indexes was studied. The optimal parameters combination of working performance was obtained.Abstract. In the process of sugarcane harvesting, sugarcane tops are cut off by the chopper and directly thrown into the field. A small percentage of sugarcane tops are picked and collected to feed livestock. Therefore, it is meaningful to develop an effective sugarcane top chopper which is used to harvest sugarcane tops before harvesting sugarcane stalk harvesting. In this study, a sugarcane top chopping platform was fabricated to investigate critical parameters such as chopping speed (CS), top feeding speed (FS), and cutting drum gap (DG) on the machine performance. In evaluating the sugarcane top chopper, three single factor experiment and one orthogonal experiment were carried out. The single factor test was used to examine the effect of CS, FS and DG on the chopping performance of the machine. According to orthogonal test, the comprehensive influence order was determined: cutting drum gap > chopping speed > top feeding speed. The optimal parameters combination for good working performance of the machine was obtained: chopping speed was 750 rpm, top feeding speed was 1.2 m·s-1, and cutting drum gap was 20 mm. The relationships between the chopping performance and the three critical factors were examined and analyzed to provide theoretical basis for the development of a sugarcane top chopper. Keywords: Chopping performance, Orthogonal test, Single factor test, Sugarcane top chopper, Variance analysis.

A new way using cellulase as auxiliary method to extract theabrownin (TB) from Guangxi Liubao Tea was proposed in this article. Single factor and orthogonal experiments were used to analysis the best extraction condition of TB from Tea. The effects of the enzyme dose, enzymatic hydrolysis time, enzymatic hydrolysis temperature and the PH of extraction were investigated by orthogonal test. Results showed that the order of influence factors was enzymatic hydrolysis time, the PH of extraction, enzyme dose and enzymatic hydrolysis temperature. The optimal extraction conditions were determined as follows: the dosage of cellulose 20 mg/g, the enzymatic hydrolysis time 40 min, the enzymatic hydrolysis temperature 30°C,the extraction PH=4. The highest extraction ration can attach 24.503%.

Using pitaya as raw material, this paper used ethanol subsiding method to study the extraction technology of pitaya polysaccharide by single factor test and orthogonal test. Through orthogonal test, we have found the optimum extraction conditions of pitaya polysaccharide as follows: extraction temperature 60℃, solid-liquid ratio 1:30, extraction time 3h. Under the optimal extraction conditions, the yield of pitaya polysaccharide was 1.13%.

The extraction of collagen from fish scales with papain under ultrasonic pretreatment was conducted in this paper. The effects of the ultrasonic pretreatment time, the ratio of papain to fish scales, the extraction temperature and the extraction time on the extraction rate of collagen were investigated by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, respectively. The results showed that the optimum conditions for collagen extraction from fish scales were: ultrasonic pretreatment time 4min, ratio of papain to fish scales 4%, temperature 60°C and extraction time 5h. Under the optimum conditions the extraction rate of collagen reached 90.7%.

In this paper, the hot water extraction conditions of mycelium polysaccharide ofTricholoma mongoliumwere investigated. By single-factor experiments, ethanol amount was determined at three times and the other factors (liquid–solid ratio, extraction temperature and time) were chosen to further optimize extraction conditions using response surface methodology (RSM). The Center Composite experimental results showed the optimum extraction conditions as follows: a temperature of 85.38°C, a liquid–solid ratio of 31.78 g/ mL and a extraction time of 2.18 h. Under these conditions, two extractions sufficiently reached the maximal the rate of mycelium polysaccharide 7.23%.

The paper discussed the extraction process of rubusoside from Rubus suavissimus using a new technique named cellulase pretreatment approach. First, the parameters of cellulose which generate the optimized condition for the extraction of rubusoside from Rubus suavissimus were identified. Under the most optimal condition, the extraction efficiency is maximal. The parameters include pH value, temperature and enzyme-substrate ratio. Second, single factor experiment and an orthogonal test then could be conducted to obtain the optimized condition for the extraction process with the assistances of cellulose. The parameters under the optimized condition were determined as following: ethanol as solvent, 1.2% cellulose, 40°C, pH 4.8 and duration 25 minutes. The result shows that the extraction efficiency of rubusoside is 10.81%.
