Residential area greening is an important part of urban greening, close to the residents, the most closely relationship with residents' daily life, it is the improvement of the quality of living environment, improve people's physical and mental health is very important. Residential area greening level, is an important symbol of urban modernization. Residential green space's most widely distributed in the urban landscape green space system, is the crucial aspect of common greening, is an important part of the urban ecological system.

The aging of population in China has been further deepened, and the living environment of the elderly has been widely concerned. As an important place for residents’ activities, the attached green space of residential area plays an important role in optimizing urban ecological environment, shaping urban landscape, providing recreation services and preventing and avoiding disasters. At present, the landscape space design of the attached green space in the residential area specially designed for the elderly is not in harmony with its demand intensity. Scientific planning of the attached green space in the residential area can enrich the daily recreational activities needed by the elderly, so as to better improve the quality of life of the elderly and promote their health. From the behavior characteristics of the elderly, the activities of the affiliated green space of residential demand, put forward under the background of an aging society residential affiliated green space reasonable planning direction, for the effective supply of the elderly daily behavior space, sufficient to guide the healthy life of the elderly to improve life quality and health level put forward the corresponding design strategy, try for the urban residential affiliated green space elements, structure, system function coordination optimization to provide theoretical support.

The report analyses the issues existing in the housing industrialization of villages and small towns in our country, as construction of domestic villages and small towns’ house is playing a crucial role in accelerating the development of villages and small towns housing industry and major performance is focus on improving the quality and environment. But compared with the ever-changing urban landscape, villages and small towns’ living environment, comfort and the quality of living are significantly behind. Lagged villages and small towns’ housing industrialization seriously hindered the healthy development of villages and small towns’ house construction. Research shows the effective strategy in promoting domestic construction of villages and small towns by housing industrialization.

In recent years, with the rapid development of VR technology, its application range gradually involves the field of urban landscape design. VR technology can simulate complex environments, breaking through the limitations of traditional environmental design on large amounts of information processing and rendering of renderings. It can display complex and abstract urban environmental design through visualization. With the support of high-speed information transmission in the 5G era, VR technology can simulate the overall urban landscape design by generating VR panoramas, and it can also bring the experiencer into an immersive and interactive virtual reality world through VR video Experience. Based on this, this article uses the 5G virtual reality method in the new media urban landscape design to conduct research, aiming to provide an urban landscape design method with strong authenticity, good user experience and vividness. This paper studies the urban landscape design method in the new media environment; in addition, how to realize the VR panorama in the 5G environment, and also explores the image design of each node in the city in detail; and uses the park design in the city As an example, the realization process of the entire virtual reality is described in detail. The research in this article shows that the new media urban landscape design method based on 5G virtual reality, specifically to the design of urban roads, water divisions, street landscapes, and people’s living environment, makes the realization of smart cities possible.

Green space system planning is the most direct method to improve urban ecological environment from the perspective of planning. However, traditional way of green space system planning exposes its limitation of paying attention to only urban area, accompanied by the prominent appeal for the enhancement of urban ecological environment and living environment quality. Therefore, the study gives a preliminary discussion on the method of green spaces system planning based on GI theory by introducing the concept and characteristic of GI, and proposes urban-rural integrated green space environment formed by the organic combination of Hubs, Links, and Sites and an urban green space system able to keep the integrality and consecutiveness of natural ecological process, which offers reference for green space system planning of the new era.

The upsetting number of crime occurring in the cities evokes the fear of crime among the civilians. In order to provide a good quality of living environment, a safe city planning must be implemented. To achieve this, several safe city concepts are reviewed. This paper aim to study several safe city concepts done by other researchers. In order to search for the best safe city concepts, a qualitative method research which involves content analysis is the most suitable approach to be employed in this study. This research will develop a new safe city conceptual framework based on the synergy of the previous studies. It is noted that the main concept of safe city planning are the activities and proposition of land use planning, identification of hot spot crime areas, improvement of physical environment and public transport system and appropriate surveillance.

The purpose of this study is to extract the indices of Aesthetic preferences for visual quality of urban landscape in high-rise buildings which contribute designers to make better decisions for designing urban landscape. As the research focuses on the high-rise buildings, this study goal address the question as follows: ‘What are aesthetic preferences in high-rise buildings? How can these preferences be developed and categorized?’ To achieve this objective, the Derak district of Shiraz city was selected as a case study area using Photo grid method and then all high-rise buildings in this area were identified and analyzed. Aesthetic preferences data were evaluated by Q-SORT method with the psychophysical approach. Eventually, aesthetic factors have been presented in two main categories: 'primary and distinctive'. Findings lead to the development of APPD model which suggests that when the landscape design of a building moves toward distinctive factors, the degree of its aesthetic preferences increases.

The ever-increasing growth of urbanization, irregular population growth, multiplicity of motor vehicles, extra use of fossil energies, expansion of constructed buildings and separation of cities from the nature, as well as the environmental instability and problems, urban views are changing from valuable ecological areas into disconnected, inefficient areas in a way that every day the nature trace gets weaker and weaker. One of the conditions of making desired urban spaces is to connect urban spaces with the nature. It seems necessary to present some ideas for strengthening this connection and directing the cities towards getting as dynamic as possible. The methods compatible with nature include green roof, green walls and green corridors designs which make a kind of dynamic relationship between cold, spiritless urban frameworks and natural frames. They are of great importance in prompting urban space quality not only as an aesthetic element but also as a vital one in air pollution critical conditions. On the other hand, the importance of green space as one of the dimensions of urban landscape is in a degree that it improves the quality and beauty of sustainable city. Therefore, the green space can be considered as one of the significant areas in the quality of urban spaces. The main aim of the present study is improving the quality and aesthetic of urban space and sustainable city through green space. This has a great help in achieving applied principles in the sustainable city landscape design. The methodology is descriptive-analytical utilizing library search, sources books, and textbooks reviewing.
