Global experiences of planning urban areas are characterised by adopting hierarchical structures from large to small structures, i.e. residential quarter (large residential area), residential district and then residential neighbourhood. Each structure is characterised according to the area, the number of people and the services required for targeting a sustainable urban environment. This concept is a milestone in urban planning in Saudi Arabia. The research attempted to discuss the general trend of planning housing projects in Saudi Arabia and the extent of applying the hierarchal concept. Three models were chosen randomly in Makkah, showing such planning hierarchy. These are Al Shawqiyyah, Al Sharaie and Al Rabwah. These projects were planned four decades ago and became a reality. Through comparative analytical methods, findings revealed ambiguity of the hierarchal planning concept in these projects. Further, the traditional neighbourhood concept was prevalent in most neighbourhoods characterised by low-density development in planning but medium and high densities in reality. The problem is getting worse as cities grow horizontally and vertically. Consistent scientific analysis based on practice and continuous meta-analysis was used. The paper calls for the need to change the current premises of housing plans and reorganise the accumulated problems according to global experiences and local standards.

The importance of preconception care for the mother and child health has long been demonstrated, but the practical realization of this prophylactic activity remains insignificant. Th e article presents the “PerConcept” study results – a survey on “Family Planning” concept perceptions among physicians, whose activity is related to reproductive health. Th e study was conducted based on a unified questionnaire in three cities from three countries: Chisinau (Republic of Moldova), Irkutsk (the Russian Federation) and Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico). Th e survey involved 1.012 family physicians, obstetricians gynecologists, urologists, andrologists, but also doctors of other specialties. A number of 991 questionnaires were validated and analyzed. About 79.5% of all respondents (788) reported that the term of “family” is associated with the birth of children. About 96.0% of respondents (951) believed that pregnancy should be planned by the couple/woman. From a professional perspective, 862 physicians (94.5%), consider that the concept of family planning should also really include a component of preconception care, simultaneous with contraception. Th e majority of participants – 91.1%, (831) had the opinion that strategies and programs in the field of family planning should be revised, in order to include preconception health services. Although the “PerConcept” study had some limitations, the authors consider that the results are interesting because doctors from 3 regions of the world: Europe, Asia, and North America had a similar opinion about the need to expand the family planning concept, which should really include the preconception care, with an equal approach as another component – contraception.

Greenway is a kind of corridors in the city that takes natural elements as the main constituent foundation and connects open spaces with functions such as leisure and recreation. The assessment of the built greenway is a review of the past construction experiences, and it is also a supplement and improvement to the future greenway planning concept system, which has important academic and application value. This study will explore how greenway design factors influenced the local cyclists’ perception of the landscape using on-site questionnaire and photo rating method. The results indicated that greenways with continuous cycling paths, high security awareness, open landscapes, and rich human activities evoke positive perceptions. Among the visual elements, natural elements such as plants and sky are more favorable than artificial elements. The research results show that the formation of greenway cyclists’ landscape imagery is affected by visual perception elements, which suggests that special consideration should be given to the laws of cyclists’ mental perception when designing greenways.

This research is a part of previous research that succeeded in producing business model architecture planning, the purpose of this study was to develop previous research using the measurement method of business model maturity as a proposed business model architecture planning concept. By taking the same case study theme as the Tiara Payung Putra (TPP) company. TPP is known as a distributor company in cooperation with Pertamina (Bulk LPG Freight and Filling Station). TPP's main business activity is distributing goods in the form of LPG to 76 bases spread across Balaraja district. The current condition of the business model architecture illustrates the business activities that exist in the TPP. The main problems that occur in TPP are not integrating external systems with internal business activities in the company, and lack of IT resource support. For this reason, the Business Process Maturity Model is needed as a benchmark, which can be proposed as a business architecture planning concept. The business process maturity model process is supported by data validation obtained through respondents, namely business stakeholders in TPP, the process for validating the data by distributing the Assessment questionnaire consisting of 8 Parts the Business Process Assessment model, and 3 Parts for IT Application Readiness Assessment. support of the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) Framework method which focuses on the business model architecture domain. The architecture of the business model illustrates how TPP carries out business activities and functions to achieve its objectives. The results of this study produce the proposed business model architecture planning concept in the form of Business Model Maturity Level Measurement, the IS / IT architecture concept, and the Business Architecture Planning roadmap, which are beneficial for the Tiara Payung Putra (TPP) company for the business model architectural planning
