Monolithic moving of the buildings has supplied a new choice for the urban planning and reforming. The paper studied the designing and construction of monolithic moving for a four-story frame structure building, and introduced a series of calculating methods and construction technology, including the arrangement of the track beam,the calculation of the underpinning joint, the calculation and selection of the underpinning system,the selection and arrangement of the rolling device, the construction controls of moving, and the connecting of the new foundation.

The bottom-frame structure is a kind of small bay masonry structure building with large bay RC frame in bottom[1], it is widely exists near streets in China because of the economy and applicability. But for the poor correspondence capacity for foundation’s deformation, it is easily be damaged for this kind of building in uneven settlement. It can provides theoretical support for design and strengthening works of such kind of structure buildings by analyzing the relation between superstructure’s stiffness and settlement of foundations, which has practical significance. For the complexity of stress of the composite structure, ANSYS is used in this analysis. A strengthening project based on this theory is introduced in the end, it validates the feasibility of the conclusion.

In 5·12 Wenchuan earthquake, most of the buildings were damaged at different degrees in Mianyang. To analysis seismic damage of RC frame structure building, and investigate its reinforcement situation,the results show that: For destruction of frame column or bottom frame structure column, enlarge section method is used mostly for reinforcement in civil engineering;To serious damage of affiliated structure such as filler wall and Parapet, most of them will be demolished and built again, and add constructional column; To the situation of concrete bottom plate with crack, paste carbon fiber sheet or bottom plant steel was used depending on the structural damage degree, and jet concrete for strengthening.

This study aims to assess the similarities and differences between Finland and Spain in terms of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) Gold large office building-type projects transitioning from version 3 (v3) to version 4 (v4). The percentages of the average scores are used here to assess the achievements of the LEED-EB data. The natural logarithm of the odds ratio lnθ and Fisher′s exact 2 × 2 tests with a mid p-value are used to evaluate dichotomous data, while the exact Wilcoxon–Mann–Whitney and Cliff′s δ effect size tests are used to evaluate ordinary data. The results for LEED-EB Gold large offices demonstrate similar certification strategies in Finland and Spain. These results may be useful to LEED-EB practitioners in Finland and Spain for facilitating the selection of appropriate certification strategies in line with identified high-performance credits for large offices.

Concrete filled steel tube is widely used in super high-rise steel structure, but there are many problem in the construction of concrete filled steel tube. With the construction of Wanxin building as an example, this paper described the selection of the construction program, and analyzed the disadvantages in construction such as the difficulties of concrete pumping and the problems of pipe blockage, pipe explosion and concrete curing during the process of construction. Based on structural characteristics and construction difficulties, the key technique of steel tube concrete construction are introduced in detail. It can provide significant reference and guide for super high-rise building construction.

With the development of construction technology and construction equipment, now almost all industrial and civil buildings are changing to frame structure. As a result of the differences in floor height, span and the thickness of the cast-in-place floor slab, so the frame column and beam stress is different. When the stress exceeds a certain limit, then it will result in the problem of “strong beam weak column”, and this affects the quality of the buildings, thus how to solve the strong beam weak column caused by the cast-in-place floor slab becomes very meaningful.

A new type of cable-stayed bridge, single pylon cable-stayed bridge without backstays is used in the Zhenshui Road Bridge in Xinmi City, China’s Henan Province, which adopts PC box girder with corrugated steel webs. It has many advantages such as light girder deadweight, low pylon height and avoiding webs longitudinal cracks. This novel bridge is adopted firstly in China. Cast-in-place method with bracket is used in the construction of the bridge’s inclined pylon because of its complex construction technology and tight construction period. In this paper, interests are focus on the scheme comparison and selection of bracket construction, the establishment of bracket’s computational model and the result of numeric analysis etc. The chief aim of this investigation was provides useful reference and enlightenment to similar bridge types.
