This paper presents a new intelligent control method which can lower the energy consumption and the pollution risk of electric bicycles. Lowering the energy consumption depends on improving the efficiency of energy transformation, and lowering the pollution risk depends on prolonging the service life of battery. Firstly, we organizes the acceleration model, then quantitative analysis are given to show the relationship between transient current and acceleration time, and the method of lowering the transient current during acceleration is given. Secondly, we determine the speed of motor when it is working at peak efficiency, at which speed the PID control algorithm is used to make the electric bicycles working. This method has been carried out on ARM processor.

Sports energy consumption is a quantitative reflection of physical exercise effect. Combined with different sports modes and students’ physical characteristics, the calculation model of sports energy consumption is put forward. Firstly, the relationship between students’ age, height, weight, gender, and energy consumption is analyzed by using multiple linear regression method, and a linear acceleration model is proposed by combining different exercise methods. The relationship between the integral value of acceleration and energy consumption is analyzed, and a linear integral model based on different motion modes is proposed. Based on the kinetic energy theorem, the student movement energy expenditure is estimated. This paper proposes a human movement recognition method based on hybrid features, which mostly can represent the curve of the second generation wavelet transform edge thinning, and from the edge and texture features of the optimal said human posture, the statistical characteristic of the second generation wavelet transform is subtly trained as image characteristics, learning and recognition of human movement. Then, the motion recognition algorithm is tested, which can effectively identify the common movement patterns of primary and middle school students. Finally, the linear relationship between the estimation results of the model and the calculation results of Meijer is analyzed. The analysis results show that the linear acceleration model proposed in this paper can estimate the energy consumption of primary and middle school students’ motion relatively accurately.

The long-range autonomous underwater vehicle is a new underwater vehicle with capability of stereoscopic observation of the ocean over a wide range of time series. This article proposed a novel control strategy for the long-range autonomous underwater vehicle considering the energy consumption. The vertical motion model of long-range autonomous underwater vehicle and the mathematical model of energy consumption of motion actuators are established in this article, and the maneuverability simulation experiments were carried out to analyze its motion and energy consumption characteristics. A hybrid controller based on human simulating intelligent control and S-plane control is designed. Considering the moment caused by the asymmetry of the hull in motion, an adaptive dynamic control allocation strategy is designed. Simulation experiments are conducted to demonstrate the performance of the scheme proposed.

For reducing energy consumption of electric air conditioning (E-A/C) in electric bus, an E-A/C control method based on driving conditions (including the temperature of bus compartment, the number of passengers, the state of charge (SOC) of battery) is proposed. Firstly, the relationship between E-A/C cooling load and driving conditions is theoretically researched, then an E-A/C control method by dynamically adjusting compartment temperature is proposed. Secondly, an E-A/C model and a bus model are established and simulated in AVL Cruise and MATLAB, the results indicate that the proposed control method can reduce the energy consumption of E-A/C significantly, and effectively improve electric bus performance.

In this contemporary era, environmental problems spread at different levels in all countries of the world. Economic growth does not just depend on prioritizing the environment or improving the environmental situation. If the foreign direct investment is directed to the polluting industries, they will increase pollution and damage the environment. The purpose of the study is to consider the relationship between foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and economic growth and renewable energy consumption. The study is based on data obtained from 1992 to 2018. The results show that there is a two-way link between foreign direct investment and renewable energy consumption in the considered two countries. The Granger causality test approach is applied to explore the causal relationship between the variables. The Johansen co-integration test approach is also employed to test for a relationship. The empirical results verify the existence of co-integration between the series. The main factors influencing renewable energy are economic growth and electricity consumption. To reduce dependence on fuel-based energy sources, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan need to attract energy to renewable energy sources and implement energy efficiency based on rapid progress. This is because renewable energy sources play the role of an engine that stimulates the production process in the economy for all countries.

Considering the necessity of achieving economic development by keeping the quality of the environment, the aim of this paper is to study the impact of economic growth on GHG emissions in a sample of Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries (V4 countries, Bulgaria and Romania) in the period of 1996–2019. In the context of dynamic ARDL panel and environmental Kuznets curve (EKC), the relationship between GHG and GDP is N-shaped. A U-shaped relationship was obtained in the renewable Kuznets curve (RKC). Energy consumption, domestic credit to the private sector, and labor productivity contribute to pollution, while renewable energy consumption reduces the GHG emissions. However, more efforts are required for promoting renewable energy in the analyzed countries.

With the increasing deployment of IoT devices and applications, a large number of devices that can sense and monitor the environment in IoT network are needed. This trend also brings great challenges, such as data explosion and energy insufficiency. This paper proposes a system that integrates mobile edge computing (MEC) technology and simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) technology to improve the service supply capability of WSN-assisted IoT applications. A novel optimization problem is formulated to minimize the total system energy consumption under the constraints of data transmission rate and transmitting power requirements by jointly considering power allocation, CPU frequency, offloading weight factor and energy harvest weight factor. Since the problem is non-convex, we propose a novel alternate group iteration optimization (AGIO) algorithm, which decomposes the original problem into three subproblems, and alternately optimizes each subproblem using the group interior point iterative algorithm. Numerical simulations validate that the energy consumption of our proposed design is much lower than the two benchmark algorithms. The relationship between system variables and energy consumption of the system is also discussed.
