During an earthquake, many construction damage for columns, not for the beam. This does not meet the standard design.This paper, we will study the phenomenon such as any and construction joint. There nine specimens, divided into three groups. Every group has three specimens, the first no construction seam, the second simple processing In construction joints, the third has good processing construction three groups will be loaded axial compression coupling than 0.23, 0.34, 0.46. This paper will study the differece of different processing construction joint limit bearing capacity, energy consumption and stiffness degradation.

In this paper,in order to study the load-bearing capacity of frame columns with construction joint under low-cyclic reversed loading, nine specimens were made, divided into three groups.Every group had three specimens, the first were made without construction joint, the second had fine processing construction joint, the third had simple processing construction joint. The three groups were loaded in axial compression ratio of 0.23,0.34,0.46 respectively.The results show that the influence of different processing with construction joint to crack position ultimate bearing capacity,skeleton curves.

In order to study the seismic behavior of steel portal frame structures, Cyclic loading test on a 1:3-scaled model of single-story single-bay steel portal frame with tapered members has been carried out. Based on test results, hysteretic curve, skeleton curve, stiffness degradation and transverse displacement of the structure are obtained. Meanwhile, the seismic performances of the structure are analyzed from aspects of ductility, energy consumption, stiffness degradation, bearing capacity, etc. It is concluded that ductility and energy consumption capacity of this structure are poor; because of its light weight, the structure attracts little seismic load; when portal frame structure designed according to current Chinese design codes suffers from small seismic action, it has enough seismic bearing capacity.

In order to improve the energy consumption capacity of the assembled self-resetting pier, the mild steel damper is added to the prefabricated self-resetting pier to form a prefabricated self- resetting pier with an external mild steel damper. Two sets of pier models were established by numerical simulation. On the basis of verifying the correctness of the traditional prefabricated self- resetting pier model, the two sets of pier models were subjected to low-cycle reciprocating loading to study the influence of the mild steel damper yield strength parameters and the pier axial compression ratio parameters on the seismic performance of the pier structure. The results show that compared with traditional prefabricated self-resetting piers, the hysteresis curve of self-resetting piers with mild steel dampers is fuller, and energy consumption and bearing capacity are greatly improved. With the increase of the yield strength of the mild steel damper, the energy consumption capacity will decrease when the loading displacement is less than 25mm, but the overall energy consumption capacity will increase. As the axial compression ratio of the pier column increases, the bearing capacity and energy consumption capacity of the structure increase significantly, but the impact is not obvious when the axial compression ratio exceeds 0.052.

The construction joint is the weak part of the structure, and the P-δ effect is mostly ignored when considering the second-order effect, so it is necessary to study the influence of second-order effect on frame columns. Based on the above considerations, under different axial compression ratios, the mechanical properties of the construction joints of the frame columns with construction joints and the cast-in-situ frame columns were studied by low cycle repeated load testsand analyzed the influence of the second-order effect on the shear capacity of frame columns with joints. The test results indicate that the existence of construction joints reduces the shear-bearing capacity of the specimens, and the second-order effect has a greater impact on the columns with joints under the same axial compression ratio, and the shear capacity decreases more. With the increase of the axial compression ratio, the second-order effect will be weakened on the frame column with seam, but when the axial compression ratio exceeds a certain limit, the second-order effect will be increased.

An innovative precast connection (the precast connection installed in the middle of the shear wall) was proposed for the shear wall. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed precast connection, two cast-in-situ shear walls (RCW1 and RCW2) and three precast shear walls (PCW1, PCW2, and PCW3) were manufactured and investigated. The construction joints were inserted in the bottom and the middle for RCW1 and RCW2; and the structural glue horizontal connection, structural glue cogged connection, and cast-in-situ plug grouting connection were utilized for PCW1, PCW2, and PCW3, respectively. The failure mode, loading capacity, ductility, stiffness degradation, and energy dissipation of specimens were analyzed under the horizontal low-frequency cycled loading. Simultaneously, a numerical simulation was carried out on the ABAQUS software, and simulation results were consistent with experimental results. The result showed that the moment-shear failure occurred in all the specimens except PCW1; the bottoms of PCW2 and PCW3 were still vulnerable regions. The bearing capacity and the ductility of RCW2 were improved to different degrees by installing the construction joint in the middle of the shear wall. Specifically, the structural glue cogged connection and the cast-in-situ plug grouting connection have no obvious effect on the reduction of bearing capacity but can improve the ductility of the specimen; the stiffness degradation and energy dissipation of RCW1, RCW2, PCW2, and PCW3 were basically the same.

Abstract In order to study the hysteretic behavior of concrete filled square CFRP steel tubular Beam-Column under different influence factors, 12 specimens were designed, and the failure mode, middle section lateral force-deflection(P-Δ) curve, middle section bending moment-curvature(M-φ) curve and middle section deflection-deformation(Δ−Δ') curve were studied. Axial compression ratio and longitudinal CFRP reinforcement coefficient as influencing factors, the effects of axial compression ratio and longitudinal CFRP reinforcement coefficient on P-Δ skeleton curve, M-φ skeleton curve, strength and stiffness degradation, ductility, cumulative energy consumption and other indexes were studied; the P-Δ curve and deformation mode of the specimens were simulated by ABAQUS, and the effects of axial compression ratio, slenderness ratio and other main parameters on the hysteretic performance of the members were studied. The test results show that CFRP has good lateral restraint and longitudinal reinforcement effect on CFST, and the local buckling of CFST is delayed. The P-Δ curve and M-φ curve of all specimens are full. In addition, the steel tube and CFRP have good synergy in both longitudinal and transverse directions. The change of axial compression ratio and longitudinal CFRP reinforcement coefficient has no significant effect on the strength degradation. The increase of axial compression ratio and longitudinal CFRP reinforcement coefficient can improve the flexural capacity and stiffness of the specimens, and slow down the stiffness degradation, but reduce the ductility and cumulative energy consumption of the specimens. The finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the P-Δ curve and deformation mode of specimens. It is found that the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results. Based on the model analysis of the main parameters, it is found that the increase of steel yield strength and CFRP layers can improve the bearing capacity of the specimens, and the axial compression ratio has the most significant effect on the specimens.

Four specially shaped columns with HRB500 reinforcement were tested under low cyclic loading. The hysteretic curve, yield load, ultimate load, displacement ductility and rigidity degradation were compared in order to research the effect of axial compression ratio on ductility and bearing capacity of specially shaped column with HRB500 reinforcement. It is shown that the axial compression ratio has greater influence on ductility and bearing capacity. With the increase of axial compression ratio, the bearing capacity of HRB500 reinforcement concrete specially shaped column can be enhanced while the deformation capacity becomes worse. The hysteretic characteristic of specially shaped columns with HRB500 reinforcement is improved and the stiffness degeneration becomes slow with the decrease of axial compression ratio.

In order to study the performance of concrete frame columns that reinforcedby assembleinclined web steel truss, with the same reciprocatinghorizontal displacement and different axialcompression.It canbe calculate the mechanical behavior of concrete frame columns and reinforced columns by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. Simulation analysis shows that the bearing capacity ofreinforced columnshas greatly increased andpresented a full hysteresis curve. The result shows that the reinforcement method of assemble inclined web steel truss can greatly improve the bearing capacity and ductility of the concrete frame column, and the axial compression is larger, the better the reinforcement effect.

Cross-laminated timber (CLT) elements are becoming increasingly popular in multi-storey timber-based structures, which have long been built in many different countries. Various challenges are connected with constructions of this type. One such challenge is that of stabilizing the structure against vertical loads. However, the calculations of the stability bearing capacity of the CLT members in axial compression in the structural design remains unsolved in China. This study aims to determine the stability bearing capacity of the CLT members in axial compression and to propose the calculation method of the stability coefficient. First, the stability coefficient calculation theories in different national standards were analyzed, and then the stability bearing capacity of CLT elements with four slenderness ratios was investigated. Finally, based on the stability coefficient calculation formulae in the GB 50005-2017 standard and the regression method, the calculation method of the stability coefficient for CLT elements was proposed, and the values of the material parameters were determined. The result shows that the average deviation between fitting curve and calculated results of European and American standard is 5.43% and 3.73%, respectively, and the average deviation between the fitting curve and the actual test results was 8.15%. The stability coefficients calculation formulae could be used to predict the stability coefficients of CLT specimens with different slenderness ratios well.
