Torque measuring in the extra-high rotation speed has not been resolved ideally yet, due to the restriction of the rough conditions. The dynamic characteristics of the developed digital plane grating angular-torquer measuring system are analyzed in this paper. The paper mainly calculates and designs the parameters of elastic shafts with different cross-section. Via the compare of dynamic characteristics and compactness of the elastic shafts with different cross-section, the optimized design is proposed at the end of the paper. The achievements of this paper can supply references to the study and design, maintaining and improvement of relative instruments.

Using various tools to obtain downhole data to reach a precise pore pressure model is an important means to predict overpressure. Most downhole tools are connected to the lower end of drill string and move with it. It is necessary to understand the motion state and dynamic characteristics of drill string, which will affect the use of downhole tools. In this paper, a drilling process considering rock-breaking process in vertical wells is simulated using finite element method. In the simulation, gravity is applied to the whole drill string. The contact force between PDC bit and formation is the weight on bit (WOB). And a rotation speed is applied to the upper end of drill string. Analysis of the results shows that the vibration amplitude of bottom hole WOB (contact force between PDC bit and formation, which is the real WOB in drilling process) is bigger than the amplitude of wellhead WOB (acquired through conversion using Hook load, which is on behalf of the WOB obtained on drilling site). Both wellhead WOB and bottom hole WOB decline with a fluctuation in drilling process. In small initial WOB and low rotation speed conditions, the fluctuation of wellhead WOB focuses on low frequency, the fluctuation of bottom hole WOB focus on high frequency, and the phase of them are not identical. In large initial WOB and high rotation speed conditions, the fluctuation of wellhead WOB and bottom hole WOB both become more irregular. As for wellhead torque and bottom hole torque, the fluctuation of them mainly focuses on low frequency. And in high rotation speed conditions, wellhead torque may become negative. The research results are beneficial to the usage of downhole tools.

Abstract A modified vertical braiding machine and closed annular axis mandrels with a special-shaped cross section were used to braid annular axis preforms under four different technical parameters. After measuring the braiding angles and yarn spacing of the braided preform in different areas of the mandrels, it was found that the braiding angle increased by 20.9% and the yarn spacing decreased by 19.8% when the speed of the yarn carrier was doubled. The braiding angle decreased by 31.1% and the yarn spacing increased by 28.6% when the rotation speed of the mandrels was doubled. The results show that the rotation speed of the mandrel has a slightly greater influence on the braiding angle and the yarn spacing. By using the modified braiding machine to braid the annular axis preforms, multi-layer continuous braided preforms can be achieved on compact equipment. And the structure of the annular axis braided preforms can be changed by changing the technical parameters.

This study adopts the DMT(dynamic mesh technology) and UDF(user defined functions) co-simulation method to study the dynamic characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearings with equalizing grooves and compare with the bearing without equalizing groove under high speed or ultra high speed for the first time. The effects of air film thicness, supply pressure, rotation speed, perturbation amplitude, perturbation frequency, and cross section of the groove on performance characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearing are thoroughly investigated. The results show that the dynamic stiffiness and damping coefficient of the bearing with triangular or trapezoidal groove have obvious advantages by comparing with that of the bearing without groove or with rectangular groove for the most range of air film thickness, supply pressure, rotation speed, perturbation amplitude, especially in the case of high frequency, which may be due to the superposition of secondary throttling effect and air compressible effect. While the growth range of dynamic stiffness decreases in the case of high or ultra-high rotation speed, which may be because the Bernoulli effect started to appear. The perturbation amplitude only has little influence on the dynamic characteristic when it is small, but with the increase of perturbation amplitude, the influence becomes more obvious and complex, especially for downsized aerostatic bearing.

Analytic model of electromagnetic linear actuator in the function of electric and geometric parameters is proposed and the effects of the design parameters on the dynamic characteristics are analyzed. To improve the dynamic characteristics, optimal design is conducted by applying sequential quadratic programming method to the analytic model. This optimal design method aims to minimize the response time and maximize force efficiency. By this procedure, electromagnetic linear actuator having high-speed characteristics is developed.

This paper developed a modified quasi-static model (MQSM), considering the oil film thickness between the bearing parts and the centrifugal deformation of the inner ring, and contrasting with traditional quasi-static model (TQSM), to analyze the dynamic characteristics of spindle bearing. The model was verified with the experimental results. A systematic parametric analysis was made to investigate the influence of applied load, inner ring rotation speed (ni), and the radius coefficient of groove curvature (RCR) on the contact load, contact angle, and heat generating rate. The results show that there is a smaller influence on the contact load, contact angle, and heat generation of bearing with the changes of ni and axial load (Fa) of bearing in the case of MQSM and TQSM. But the radial load (Fr) and RCR have great influence on this.

In every filed of natural science, more and more researchers attach importance to system quantitative analysis, control and prediction. In filed of automatic control, system identification is the extension of system dynamic characteristics testing. System modeling is the basis of system identification, non-parametric model can be obtained by means of dynamic characteristics testing, but parametric model must be established by means of parameter estimation algorithm, which is more prevalent than dynamic characteristics testing. Coal power plant produces more gas and dust, so how to control the fan system plays a very important role in environment protection. We must clarify the parameter of fan system before controlling it. The traditional Bayes identification algorithm is used widely in research and industry, and the effect is relatively good. The paper induces the concept of loss function based on traditional Bayes identification algorithm, and proposes an improved Bayes identification algorithm, which can be applied to fan system identification successfully.
