In view of the fuzziness and uncertainty characteristics of the index and evaluation incompatibility in the disassembly evaluation process, the disassembly evaluation model of fuzzy matter-element analysis based on entropy was proposed. Firstly, the fuzzy matter-element matrix and weight matrix was established, based on the analysis of the factors having influences on disassemblability. Then the dependent degree of each scheme was calculated to rank disassemblability of the product design schemes. Additionally, the index weight was determined by the method of entropy, which can effectively avoid interference of subjective factors in the process of weight determination. Finally, an example of disassemblability evaluation was given to show the effectiveness of the method.

This paper examines a new evaluation of urban road traffic safety based on a matter element analysis, avoiding the difficulties found in other traffic safety evaluations. The issue of urban road traffic safety has been investigated through the matter element analysis theory. The chief aim of the present work is to investigate the features of urban road traffic safety. Emphasis was placed on the construction of a criterion function by which traffic safety achieved a hierarchical system of objectives to be evaluated. The matter element analysis theory was used to create the comprehensive appraisal model of urban road traffic safety. The technique was used to employ a newly developed and versatile matter element analysis algorithm. The matter element matrix solves the uncertainty and incompatibility of the evaluated factors used to assess urban road traffic safety. The application results showed the superiority of the evaluation model and a didactic example was included to illustrate the computational procedure.

This paper is analyzed based on extension learn matter-element theory, combined with urban subway traffic service status, constituting the urban subway service level evaluation model and AHP. Taking Xi'an Metro Line 2 as the object of study determine the weight coefficient of each index and establish correlation function, in order to calculate the index of correlation and give a quantitative numerical representation of evaluation results. Finally, we can get the result that the Metro Line 2 of the traffic service level is good. This evaluation system can also be applied to other urban subway transportation service level evaluation.

The project logistics indicators system of risk evaluation is established through analyzing the project logistics risk characteristics. Risk evaluation model is proposed based on matter-element theory. The project logistics risk、evaluation index and the characteristic value are taken as the matter-element. The logistics risk grade can be gained by calculating the risk coefficient of correlation, using subjective and objective combination weighting methods and the integrated risk correlation calculating in the end. An example is used to validate the proposed method. The results show this model can solve the problem of uncertainty index and the risk quantitative analysis then risk decision can be made.

Previously, factors affecting freeway network safety under all operational circumstances have been divided hierarchically. Consequently, evaluation indicators for highway safety have been established on the basis of specification and twin statistic data. We present a novel multi-objective comprehensive evaluation method for the safe operation of segments of a highway network, together with the calculation formula, based on matter element analysis. In addition, the method is evaluated using an example.

With the rapid development and wide application of multimedia technology, the demand for the actual development of multimedia software in many industries is increasing. How to measure and improve the quality of multimedia software is an important problem to be solved urgently. In order to calculate the complicated situation and fuzziness of software quality, this paper introduced a software quality evaluation model based on the fuzzy matter element by using a method known as the fuzzy matter element analysis, combined with the TOPSIS method and the close degree. Compared with the existing typical software measurement methods, the results are basically consistent with the typical software measurement results. Then, Pearson simple correlation coefficient was used to analyse the correlation between the existing four measurement methods and the metric of practical experience, whose results show that the results of software quality measures based on fuzzy matter element are more in accordance with practical experience. Meanwhile, the results of this method are much more precise than the results of the other measurement methods.

In view of the gray numbers in fuzzy matter-element values, in this paper matter element analysis which can consider the incompatibility between the various factors will be combined with gray system theory. Thus a fuzzy gray element evaluation model was established for the stability of rock slope, and the stability of Bu-zhao-ba open pit west slope was evaluated by this model. In this model the composite gray matter-element was established by five slope stability grades, six factors and its corresponding gray value by correlation transformation. This model can solve the above contradictions efficiently, and the result of the comprehensive analysis in the west slope of Bu-zhao-ba open pit by this model was same as the reality basically.
