Brushes-type blanket washer’s function is rubbing a high speed spinning brush roller against blanket roller, so as to clean the paper-lints and ink which adhere to the surface of blanket cylinder. It is very important to do a research into the dynamic structural analysis of the washer which determines the stability of this equipment. With the gyroscopic effect dynamic analysis of brush blanket, we get the relation curve between central offset of the washer and the load of permanent joint. The result show that a minute alteration of the central offset causes effect change of the load. This result provides a theoretical basis to control the effect change and then improve the stability and decrease the cost.

In the high-speed, gyroscopic effects of the flywheel rotor greatly influence the rotor stability. The pole-zero points move to right of s-plane and the damping terms of the pole points become smaller. The stability of the system will get worse with the increasing of rotor speed when the traditional decentralized PD controller is used only. In the paper, a cross-feedback control with decentralized PD control is used for compensating gyroscopic effect. The simulation results show that the system stability is better using the cross-feedback control with decentralized PD control than using the traditional decentralized PD control.

Catastrophic tool failure due to the low flexural stiffness of the micro-tool is a major concern for micromanufacturing industries. This issue can be addressed using high rotational speed, but the gyroscopic couple becomes prominent at high rotational speeds for micro-tools affecting the dynamic stability of the process. This study uses the multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF) model of the cutting tool to investigate the gyroscopic effect in machining. Hopf bifurcation theory is used to understand the long-term dynamic behavior of the system. A numerical scheme based on the linear multistep method is used to solve the time-periodic delay differential equations. The stability limits have been predicted as a function of the spindle speed. Higher tool deflections occur at higher spindle speeds. Stability lobe diagram shows the conservative limits at high rotational speeds for the MDOF model. The predicted stability limits show good agreement with the experimental limits, especially at high rotational speeds.

Variable head sizes of paper roll will influence the stability of paper feeding device and hence the printing quality. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the printing quality by improving the stability of paper feeding device based on dynamic analysis on the phenomenon of variable head sizes of paper roll. It is found through dynamic analysis that the effect of variable head sizes on the support force of bearings is nearly five times that of the case when such effect does not exist. Vibration performance analysis of paper feeding device using finite element analysis obtains the natural frequencies of the first 6 orders for paper carriage and their dominant vibrational modes. This provides theoretical basis for the improvement of paper feeding device.

Gyroscopic effects in the flywheel rotor greatly influence rotor stability especially at high speed. When the pole-zero position moves to right of s-plane, the damping of the pole is getting smaller, and the stability of system is getting worse with the increasing of rotor speed when the decentralized PD control law is used only. The LQR (linear quadratic regulator) control method is used to reduce gyroscopic effect and forced vibration. The simulation results show that LQR controller have a good performance on the reduction of gyroscopic effect and vibration of magnetic flywheel rotor system.

The most simple and effective method for destroying chemical weapons, and thus eliminating stockpiling problems, is to detonate the entire payload in a chamber without separating the chemical agent from the explosives. A double walled chamber was developed by Kobe Steel, Ltd. (KSL) and has destroyed more than 7000 chemical weapons throughout the world since 2000. Explosion analysis (by AUTODYN) and dynamic structural analysis (by LS-DYNA) performed during development of the chamber design are presented with the experimental results. Design of the latest version of the double walled chamber was evaluated in accordance with the ASME Code Section VIII, Division 3 and Code Case 2564 based on the results of dynamic analysis and measured strains.

High-speed milling (HSM) has advantages in high productivity high precision and low production cost. Thus it can be widely used in the manufacture industry. However, when the speed of spindle-tool reaches a higher speed range, the gyroscopic effect will become an important part of its stable milling. In this paper, a dynamics model of HSM system was proposed considering the influence of gyroscopic moment due to high rotating speed of end milling, and solution it. Then, the natural frequencies of end-milling model were researched by using analyse software. And analysis the stability of end-milling that considered gyroscopic effects under different speeds, obtain the Campbell Diagram. Get the trajectory of one point in end face milling. Then draw the fitting trajectory and ideal trajectory of the point in milling. Compare the actual trajectory, fitting trajectory and the ideal trajectory. So it can provide a basis for stability prediction of high speed milling.

The soil-structure interaction (SSI) effect is paid more and more attention in the dynamic structural analysis and earthquake resistance protection. However, theoretical analysis of SSI effect cannot accord with engineering applications because the analysis of SSI system is too complicated to be studied with a comprehensive theoretical basis. In order to promote the accuracy of dynamic analysis of SSI system in theory, in this paper, an analytical expression of motion equations of SSI system is given based on the concept of the continuity of dynamic system. In addition, mechanical models of SSI system on the basis of the continuity of motion domains are built and the analytical expression of equations of SSI system is given.

Using an experimental design approach, researchers altered process parameters and material prop-erties to stabilize the curtain of a pilot curtain coater at high speeds. Part I of this paper identifies the four significant variables that influence curtain stability. The boundary layer air removal system was critical to the stability of the curtain and base sheet roughness was found to be very important. A shear thinning coating rheology and higher curtain heights improved the curtain stability at high speeds. The sizing of the base sheet affected coverage and cur-tain stability because of its effect on base sheet wettability. The role of surfactant was inconclusive. Part II of this paper will report on further optimization of curtain stability with these four variables using a D-optimal partial-facto-rial design.

Indosat will continue to develop and expand network coverage and a larger investment that the company will achieve excellence in the field of integrated telecommunications services.    Ranking by region of the IP Providers can be seen by grouping IP Providers, and management over IP Providers prefer to choose providers based on where it orginates as an example for the region of the U.S if it will be preferred providers that come from U.S. providers.With the commencement of the internet network optimization start early in 2008 with the selection of the appropriate IP Upstream Provider criteria, it is up to date according to data obtained from Indosat, seen any significant changes to the cost of purchasing capacity of the IP Upstream.    Based on the data obtained that until Q3 or September 2008, the number of IP Upstream Providers that previously there were 20 to 10 IP Upstream Provider, IP Transit Price total decrease of 11% to the price of IP Transit Price / Mbps there is a decrease of 78%, while from the capacity bandwith an increase of 301% capacity from 2008.
