Aerospace engineering projects usually require a huge investment and a long construction period. For this reason, a risk management method is proposed for the project schedule of aerospace engineering. In total, it is necessary to make a risk assessment and analysis on construction schedule before project implementation.

Risk Management in Construction Project is playing important role to achieve successes of the Project. Risk is in everywhere and every project particularly in construction has innumerable risks occurring before construction and during construction period. Most of the risks are repeatedly occurring but the impact & probability of risk is varying. However, the climate risk may lead to impact the Time, Cost and losing an opportunity Cost of the project. This study is to create a model for risk data collection, risk analysis, risk interpretation with the combination of project schedule and cost, India climate is varying from states to states especially the annual number of raining days different from 10 to 130 days throughout India and its impact the construction schedule 3% to 36% on average, Temperature is verifying for winter (0C to 25C) and summer (25C to 50C) is also impact the productivity of project this will reflected in the Project Cost 1% to 10% on average. The History of Climate we can identify the Climate Risk, Environment Risk, impact the time and Cost. However, this paper is measuring and handling risks to help for upcoming construction projects.

Purpose: This study examines the effect of employees’ understanding of risk management process on knowledge on risk management in a non-profit organisation. Specifically, this study examines the effect of employees’ understanding of risk identification, risk assessment and analysis and, risk control and monitoring on their knowledge on risk management.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study used questionnaire survey on 80 employees of various levels in a non-profit organisation.Findings: This study shows that the most of the employees felt that they have a poor knowledge on risk management. The poor knowledge on risk management is attributed by the all three determinants in this study namely, understanding risk identification, risk assessment and analysis and, risk control and monitoring process on knowledge on risk management.Practical Implications: The findings provide indication that non-profit organisations need to provide awareness programs to their employees in increasing their knowledge on risk management. The findings of this study is essential to the managements to ensure that their employees are well informed and understand risk management and subsequently, take necessary control to reduce risks.Originality/Value: This study provides further understanding on the importance of understanding risk management process on performance.

Construction project schedule delay is a worldwide concern and especially severe in the Ethiopian construction industry. This study developed a Construction Schedule Risk Assessment Model (CSRAM) and a management strategy for foreign general contractors (FGCs). 94 construction projects with schedule delay were collected and a questionnaire survey of 75 domain experts was conducted to systematically select 22 risk factors. In CSRAM, the artificial neural network (ANN) inference model was developed to predict the project schedule delay. Integrating it with the Garson algorithm (GA), the relative weights of risk factors with rankings were calculated and identified. For comparison, the Relative Importance Index (RII) method was also applied to rank the risk factors. Management strategies were developed to improve the three highest-ranked factors identified using the GA (change order, corruption/bribery, and delay in payment), and the RII (poor resource management, corruption/bribery, and delay in material delivery). Moreover, the improvement results were used as inputs for the trained ANN to conduct a sensitivity analysis. The findings of this study indicate that improvements in the factors that considerably affect the construction schedule can significantly reduce construction schedule delays. This study acts as an important reference for FGCs who plan to enter or work in the Ethiopian construction industry.

The method builds upon but extends the ISO 31000/31010 risk management methodology to determine the level of cultural risk your organization is carrying. The authors walk through and translate each of the seven steps to account for cultural risks.

In view of of the numerous risk events negatively affecting the project schedule, expenses, performances and other expected projectresults in China’s practice in the international EPC cement engineering projects, and their respective causes,this paper conducts a systematic study of the key risk factors existing in construction environment, market operations, and implementation process of projects and proposes the Enginerring Risk Management Information System (ERMIS) of the international EPC engineering projects, together with its construction model, basic procedures, practical functions and applications, and in particular, the risk database to collect and process information about major risk factors, risk events and countermeasure in the cement engineering projects while the expert system will utilize the Risk Database, Integrated Assessment Software and expert intelligence to collect and process dynamic data related to the risk identification, assessment, decision-making and monitoring and control of an intended building engineering projects. The risk assessment model set up in this paper is to consider the implementation of the software in ERMIS to adopt the upgraded AHP-MFCE technology to solve problems related to the total risk evaluation in the engineering project based on multi-empowerment.

The purpose of this research is to examine the degree to which the Egyptian banks use risk management practices and techniques to eliminate associated risks to their business. Not only has that but also to compare between Islamic and conventional banked in terms of risk management practices. A standardized questionnaire was used to cover the main aspects of risk management: understanding risk, risk management, risk identification, risk assessment and analysis; risk monitoring and risk management practices and finally the types of risks faced by the two set of banks. The study found that the most challenging types of risks facing Islamic and conventional banks in Egypt are credit and liquidity risks. Conventional banks are more efficient in risk management and use more sophisticated techniques and practices. Liquidity risk is the most prominent and vital risk for Islamic Banks.

It is convenient and effective to use Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) technique in project schedule risk analysis and assessment, but at the same time, the indexes put forward by scholars up to now is quite few, leaving construction schedule risk assessment still difficult to carry out. Therefore, based on PERT network assumption, the shortcomings of current project schedule risk indexes are summarized and new project schedule risk index is put forward to estimate the criticality of each activity and path to provide more information for project schedule controllers. In the case studied, with the application of the new index, the critical index of each activity is given and divided into five levels, and the new index put forward in this paper shows great superiority over the classic indexes.

The results of the analysis revealed that factors, such as the level of understanding risk management, risk assessment and analysis, risk control, and monitoring, feature more prominently in Malaysian Islamic Banks than in their Jordanian counterparts. However, Jordans IBs are ahead in terms of the level of risk management practices. Both countries are similar in their risk identification. It is also found that Islamic Banks in Malaysia and Jordan are somewhat reasonably efficient in managing risk where risk assessment and analysis (RAA), and risk control and monitoring (RCM) are the most influencing variables in RMPs in Malaysia; whilst understanding risk management (URM) and risk control and monitoring (RCM) are good predictors of RMPs in Jordan.

The article considers general problems of implementing the enterprise risk management procedure. One of the ways to solve the problems arising when meeting Russian state standard ISO 9001-2015 requirements concerning risk-oriented thinking is presented. A risk assessment control model aimed at coordinating all kinds of the enterprise departments activities, forming a clear algorithm of risk management procedure implementation and attracting a greater number of employees towards this activity is offered.
