This paper aims to using multistage inventory control theory to optimize traditional inventory control method, meanwhile, the spare parts supply of engineering ships are guaranteed and keep the cost in the lowest level. Moreover, in accordance with all kinds of construction task types to ensure the spare parts supply to satisfy engineering ships demand, and reduce the situation of shutdown unattended which is resulted by spare parts supply not in time.

The research discusses how To Compare Inventory Control Analysis With Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method and Just In Time (JIT) Method To Minimize Inventory Costs At UD. Melati Jaya. This study discusses a comparative analysis of the Economic Order Quantity method and the Just In Time method to minimize inventory costs at UD. Jasmine jaya. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative method with comparative research that compares the Econimic Order Quantity (EOQ) method with the Just In Time (JIT) method to the cost efficiency at UD. Melati Jaya. The analysis results from the comparative calculation of inventory control show that the Just In Time Inventory Control method is more appropriate to be applied to Ud. Melati Jaya because the total cost of the inventory is smaller than the total cost of the inventory when using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method.

PT. Prima Sejati Sejahtera as one of the subsidiaries of PT. Pan Brothers Tbk. which is engaged in garment production. The company's mechanical department in managing spare part inventory is still using intuitive method, where the number of spare part order for certain periods based on spare part demands data onto the previous period. The company’s mechanical department often stock out of spare parts. Spare part’s inventory management becomes a complex issue because of the need for fast response to handle the downtime of machines, and the risk of obsolescence of spare parts. So in this research will discuss about spare part inventory control which is started with spare parts grouping by using ABC analysis method to determine the appropriate inventory control method for each group. There are 23 spare parts which included in group A. The forecast of spare part’s demands to use Croston, Syntetos-Boylan Approximation (SBA) and Single Exponential Smoothing (SES). Comparison of each forecasting method will be determined by the value of forecasting errors (MAD). It is known that there are 12 spare parts with Croston method in the best forecasting method, 6 spare parts in Syntetos-Boylan Approximation (SBA) method and 5 spare parts with Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) method. Based on the best forecasting result, it will be calculated the value of safety stock (SS), reorder point (ROP) and the optimal number of ordering (Q) using Continuous Review method for each spare part.

Aggreggate planning is a way to estimate the amount of output that will be produced to meet the demand obtained from forecasting for a period of more than 3 months or less than the next 18 months to meet demand in accordance with the company's overall production capacity to minimize the total costs incurred by the company. Doublefive Store and cloting is a company engaged in the online business by producing t-shirt printing. However, this company has not found a way to minimize the total cost of expenses. Therefore, research on aggregate planning is carried out to enable companies to arrange a way of optimally utilizing resources and supplies in order to achieve effective and efficient capacity which is based on future demand forecasts to minimize total expenditure costs. The method used is the heuristic method by calculating the workforce control planning and inventory control. Based on the research results, it is known that by using the labor control method, the costs incurred by the company are less than the inventory control method. The cost incurred based on the selected method is Rp. 20,442,987.22 with a difference of Rp. 10,025 from inventory control.

The main target of supply chain management is to control inventory of each node enterprise effectively with the minimum cost. In this paper, the control strategies and methods of inventory based on supply chain management are put forward, which are significant for saving the cost of supply chain and improving the overall benefits of the whole chain.

AbstractIntroduction. Effective management of road indstry is particularly important in conditions of limited funding, as it is not possible to provide adequate funding of the economic entity that has the functions of a customer service. The cost of the customer service maintenance depends directly on the compliance with applicable regulations for these works cost determination. One of the aspects that form a considerable part of the costs of customer service is the maintenance of service vehicles.Problem Statement. Road services in the regions (hereinafter RSR) are the recipients and managers of the funds from the State Budget of Ukraine that are directed for the development and maintenance of public roads of state importance, being as well the asset holders of these roads. To perform their functions, the RSR have vehicles on their balance, the use of which involves a number of costs, including fuel and lubricants, repair, maintenance, replacement of tires, etc. The most important of the steps involved in setting the costs of vehicle maintenance is the process of cost planning. Planning has to be based on the structure of the vehicle fleet (own or leased), functional responsibilities and scope of road works.Planning is carried out for vehicles on the balance of the RSR, as well as for leased vehicles. In the case of leasing, the costs mentioned above are added by the vehicles leasing costs. These costs must be forecasted, justified and performed within the approved cost estimates of the customer service expenses.Purpose. The purpose of the article is to highlight the theoretical and methodological approaches to the calculation of planned costs for the maintenance of service vehicles of the road works customer.Materials and methods. Dialectical methods of knowledge, such as analysis and synthesis of fleet composition characteristics and approaches to cost planning methods, as well as induction, were used in writing the article to explore some aspects of the process of calculating the planned cost of maintenance of the road works customer's service vehicles.Results. The study highlights and describes the main approaches to the calculation of planned costs for the maintenance of service vehicles of the road works customer. The methodology of calculation of planned costs for the maintenance of service vehicles is explored.Conclusions. The introduction of a clear methodology and analytical toolkit for calculating all necessary expenditure items for the maintenance of the road works customer's vehicles in the cost planning process will establish the implementation of a clear mechanism for calculating the planned costs of maintenance of the road works customer's vehicles. It will also provide an automated information-analytical complex for planning of cost estimates, with information entry and reporting in standard forms and possibility of prompt response to changes in fleet composition, needs for spare parts, repairs or other expenses for the maintenance of service vehicles and making changes in cost estimates. Keywords: motor vehicles, costs, cost planning, customer service, maintenance of service vehicles

The bullwhip effect was caused by fuzzy demand among the enterprises. In order to reduce this effect, control theory was applied to solve the inventory in supply chain. Firstly, inventory control in supply chain and the bullwhip effect was researched. Secondly, a kind of proportional integral differential (PID) controller was developed for inventory control in a three-level supply chain, and the mathematical model of the PID controller for inventory control was presented. Finally, the results show that the PID controller can evidently alleviate the bullwhip effect and inventory fluctuations under the suitable combination of control gain.
