The current EVP program in China is facing many challenges such as the incomplete teaching reform, misconceptions in the use of network technologies and the lack of in-depth scientific research into English courses and teaching. To address these problems, an ecological teaching model that consists of classroom teaching and teaching in virtual environments by developing a web-based EVP teaching platform is constructed. The teaching platform, designed in accordance with higher vocational college students’ characteristics, adopts the course structure of “basic college English +industry-specific English”, which is effective to stimulate the students’ learning motivation and enhance the teaching quality.

The listening teaching incorporated with computer web-based learning platform technology, has offered the opportunity for English listening teaching. This paper firstly introduces the web-based teaching platform development and related technologies, selects the Moodle platform as the on-line platform, and then designs the teaching experiment of college English listening on the basis of this platform. In the experiment, this paper, taking the 128 non-English major students of one university in China as object of study, conducts the contrast experiment between the Moodle-based listening teaching and traditional listening teaching, and makes statistical analysis of the experimental results by the questionnaire survey as well as the pre-experiment and after-experiment methods. The study in this paper promotes the application of web-based teaching platform in English listening teaching, and has positive effects on promoting the students’ learning enthusiasm and listening education reform.

This paper attempts to build a web-based English teaching platform that improves students’ efficiency in English learning. After reviewing the current theories on teaching platforms, the author combined online education technology and the Licensure and Master’s Program (LAMP) technology into a mixed teaching mode, which inherits the advantages of traditional teaching and network technologies. In addition, an English teaching platform was designed for the instruction and exercises for English courses. The platform is operated jointly by students, teachers and administrators. The research shows that the English teaching system, through the integration between information technology and LAMP, could be turned into a resource module to be used as a plug-in for online education; the proposed English teaching platform is a new-generation system for the teaching and learning of English reading, grammar, speaking and listening. The proposed platform greatly improves the teaching methods and the learning efficiency, laying a theoretical basis for the construction of the new teaching system platform.

In this paper I posit that the application of task-based language teaching (TBLT) in web-based college English teaching (WBCET) is a possible solution to the problems arose from the on-going web-based college English teaching reform in China. A study is designed to verify the enhancement of students’ comprehensive ability in English learning through the combination of TBLT and WBCET.

Through the analysis and research of the multimedia teaching platform system based on computer Internet technology, this paper proposes constructing a network multimedia teaching platform system based on streaming transmission to realize the sharing of excellent teaching resources in colleges and universities and the development of education and teaching. The design and development of each module of the teaching platform are completed, and the realization technology of each module function is explained. We completed the design and implementation of some auxiliary functions of the teaching platform, including the system usage help module, resource search module, and online on-demand playback functions. After the experiment, we compare the changes of students’ English anxiety before and after the experiment and conduct interviews with them. The results show that the application of the Internet-based scaffolding teaching model in college English reading teaching can alleviate students’ English learning anxiety. Through interviews to understand students’ feedback and evaluation of the new teaching model, it was found that most students hold positive evaluations of the Internet-based scaffolding teaching model, believing that the new teaching model can stimulate students’ English learning enthusiasm and increase confidence in English learning.

Based on the requirements of engineering education accreditation, the requirements for the teaching of agricultural water conservancy engineering are getting higher and higher. In recent years, online education has been in the ascendant in China’s education market. Among many competitors in this market, the Pigai system, an intelligent online English essay marking system based on big data analysis, is standing out from the crowd. More and more universities, colleges, even middle schools are taking advantage of it. This paper mainly introduces the reform of writing teaching model by utilizing this system in Leshan Normal University. The experiment of the teaching reform has shown that Pigai can shorten the working hours for teachers, develop students’ habit of autonomous study and improve their writing motivation and good language expression ability.

Japanese professional hotel management and traditional Japanese professional have certain differences between institutions of higher learning, its focus on training students' level of Japanese and combined with actual business hotel. This paper analyzes the hotel management in higher vocational college Japanese teaching present situation and existing problems, the construction of the hotel management of Japanese teaching reform scheme is put forward, and explore the feasible teaching mode, in order to effectively promote domestic Japanese teaching reform and the improvement of teaching quality.
