This paper is focused on using the method of computer technology combined with the knowledge of experts to determine heavy-duty cutting processing parameters according to the relevant theories of metal cutting. This “Expert System of the Parameter Optimization in the Heavy-duty Cutting Processing” is based on the VC++6.0 programming language and SQL Sever 2000. It is divided into two subsystems, turning and milling machining. Taking the turning machining subsystem for example, by using methods of generating expression combined with frame representation, this paper classifies and generalizes related knowledge, and combines the knowledge base with the data base to set up the knowledge base of the subsystem. Also this paper introduces the process of inferential mechanism of the optimizing modules of cutters and machining engagements.

The state of Indonesia, especially in the area of Central Java, is one of the largest producers of water guava. Some farmers rely on the results of guava cultivation as the basis for the family's economy because the guava harvest is quite promising. However, in certain seasons, water guava plants are often attacked by various kinds of pest and disease season disturbances. So that it can reduce crop yields or even cause crop failure. To overcome this problem, fast and precise action is needed so that the guava plant is protected from various kinds of pests and diseases. The method of developing an expert system for disturbance in water guava plants is the best solution in order to identify disturbances in water guava plants as early as possible. The method used in this expert system is the certainty factor method. With this method, several experts are needed to provide data related to disturbances in water guava plants. The expert system for guava plant disorders is designed using a web-based PHP programming language. In designing the knowledge base, which is the core of this system, is made dynamically to make it easier to add new data.

The expert system is part of an artificial intelligence consisting of the knowledge and experience of an expert who is included in the knowledge base. The expert system can help someone who is still lay in solving the problem. Television is a medium of communication that receives broadcasts of moving pictures and sounds. One example of an expert system created is an expert system to diagnose television damage using the Depth First Search method using the VB.NET programming language. With the application of expert systems in diagnosing television damage, expected in the analysis process becomes faster. Expert system analysis on the damage of television can be known directly to assist in knowing what damage experienced by television and what steps to improve television. In this case, the author has consulted with an expert in the field of television damage to build a knowledge base

This document analyzes factors that make it difficult for computational programming logic to consolidate itself as a subject to be taught in schools and how to introduce it into the academic environment through a hypothetical curriculum based on studies and also including the logical block programming language, Scratch. Studies are conducted to create the basis of an experimental school grade. Said grade describes in detail the age groups it will reach and what knowledge will be taught to them. With a better understanding of programming and programming logic in mind, not only individuals who choose to work in the field will already have a larger knowledge base than today, but people who choose not to work in the field of computer technology will benefit of a more logical and cohesive line of reasoning.

In a computer technology that can help people solve problems that are widely applied in the world of medicine is an expert system. a system that is adopted from human insight into computers, thus enabling problems to be solved by computers, as developed by an expert. In this study, the Expert System can diagnose hepatitis. The system can diagnose hepatitis, which is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database using the Sorensen Cooficient method. With input in the form of symptoms and blood tests, then the results are possible diseases suffered by the patient and an explanation of the disease and treatment solutions. So that this expert system is able to diagnose hepatitis. This study uses the Sorensen Cooficient method which can be implemented into an expert system with complex or acute hepatitis, or simple hepatitis.

This research was conducted to implement the Bayes algorithm in an expert system to diagnose types of diseases in cassava plants. The research data was taken from the Binjai City Agriculture and Fisheries Office in 2018. The expert system was built based on the web, where the application was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL DBMS. The results showed that the Bayes algorithm can be used in expert system applications to diagnose types of cassava plant diseases. In the Bayes algorithm, the knowledge base is taken from the data of the amount of data from cassava plants that suffer from disease, so the results of diagnosing cassava plants are based on existing data. Therefore, the more patient data that is used as a knowledge base, the better the diagnosis results are given.

Someone can be said to have the ability to handle damage to the Panasonic NS1000 PABX device and perform a configuration of at least 3 years or already have a certificate of competence and training. The problem to be investigated is the number of experts there is only one and can only identify 5 damage per day and 1 day there are 25 damage. PABX Panasonic NS1000 has 30 rules and 130 data symptoms of damage as its knowledge base. This Expert System is designed to identify damage to PABX Panasonic NS1000 mobile application-based applications using the A * (A star) pathfinding algorithm and the forward chaining method with the PHP (Jquery Mobile) programming language and the database using MySQL, as an application program used by PT. Mediatama Anugrah Citra to facilitate the process of troubleshooting and effective problem solving on target. The features in this expert system include the identification of problems, the identification process, up to the achievement of the goal state and solutions effectively, quickly and precisely, the user as the user or admin has its own login and access rights in identifying, entry and editing. In the programming case testing process it can be seen that the application of the A * Pathfinding algorithm with the heuristic function has proven ineffectively implemented in the expert system and the results of the UAT testing process, the respondents agree (above 91.23%) that overall the expert system helps the expert and can deduce damage to PABX devices correctly.

Well field management in urban areas faces challenges such as pollution from old waste deposits and former industrial sites, pollution from chemical accidents along transport lines or in industry, or diffuse pollution from leaking sewers. One possibility to protect the drinking water of a well field is the maintenance of a hydraulic barrier between the potentially polluted and the clean water. An example is the Hardhof well field in Zurich, Switzerland. This paper presents the methodology for a simple and fast expert system (ES), applies it to the Hardhof well field, and compares its performance to the historical management method of the Hardhof well field. Although the ES is quite simplistic it considerably improves the water quality in the drinking water wells. The ES knowledge base is crucial for successful management application. Therefore, a periodic update of the knowledge base is suggested for the real-time application of the ES.
