Based on the results of the researcher's observations, the competence of students' skills in the subjects of Microprocessors and Microcontrollers is still lacking. This is due to the fact that the current learning method is still using the conventional method, and still using conventional program code writing model. It is difficult to understand for students who are beginners in the field of programming. The purpose of this research is to produce Learning KIT products to facilitate learning activities of Microcontroller programming with Plug and Play system, in writing program code was made easy with simply compiling instructions in the form of block puzzles. It can make easy for the beginner to understand programming logic and algorithms. The method steps taken refer to prototyping method, it aims to get an overview of the tool’s designed and built to be shown to the user. The evaluation prototype will be used as a reference to make a tool as the final product as the output of this research.

Abstract: Transformers are the main building block in a power system. Any damages in transformers adversely affects the balance of a power system. The damages are mainly occurring due to overloading and inefficient cooling. The main objective of the project is real time monitoring of the health conditions of the distribution transformer. . The parameters such as temperature, current, voltage, oil temperature, oil height, transformer temperature etc. of a transformer are monitored, processed and recorded in the servers.. The recorded data can be send using Wi-Fi module and accessed from anywhere around the world using IOT technology using HTTP protocol. This helps in identifying without human dependency. This helps in identifying and solving a problem before a failure without human dependency. The system also includes the thermal over load and automatic shut down protection of transformer. Teaching programming logic by means of a single Programming Language (PL) may lead the whole process to a particular syntax and specific libraries. In order to let every student choose their preferred PL we have developed a method that includes didactic material in many PLs by means of notebooks in Colab. We created a filter that generates Lecture Notes in different combinations of PLs from these notebooks. Moreover, each student can choose different PLs to practice with exercises and send their solutions as programming codes, which are individualized because of the parametric questions generated with MCTest+Moodle+VPL. Herewith we present our method, which is easily adaptable, validated with 5 remote classes comprising a total of 221 students, whose average pass rate was 90%.

<p>The article describes a control logic used to automate the mixing stage of the instant mashed potato process, in order to improve the quality of the final product. Thus, initially the characteristics of the automated process are detailed, specifying the programming logic on the programmable logic controller, to later demonstrate through a data collection process the percentage of improvement in the quality of the final product from the perspective of the users. Indicators: percentage of humidity in the mixing stage, water absorption index (IAA), water solubility index (ISA) and hydrogen potential (pH). The development of the research concludes that the automation of the process, achieved that the IAA index and the ISA index, obtained in the spraying stage, improve by 8.13% and 23.05%, respectively, finding analyzed values within the optimal ranges. This in turn reflected a 39.61% improvement with respect to the humidity percentage, measured in the mixing stage, thus improving the quality of the final product, which brings with it a significant increase of 84.44% in production levels.</p>

ABSTRAK Perkembangan media pembelajaran pada dunia pendidikan di era industry 4.0 menjadi prioritas sebagai sarana penunjang kegiatan praktikum dilakukan sehingga mahasiswa mampu memahami pelajaran yang disampaikan. Dengan teknologi yang berkembang dengan cepat dan serba otomatis, maka mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memahami cara kerja suatu sistem.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat praktikum yang dapat menyimulasikan proses Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) menggunakan Programmable Logic Control (PLC) yang dapat diprogram dengan layar panel Human Machine Interface (HMI) sebagai tampilan proses yang bekerja serta membuat modul pembelajaran dasar bahasa pemograman untuk PLC dan HMI. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development dengan teknik ADDIE dari Robert Maribe Branch (2009) yaitu: Analisis, Desain, Develop, Implementasi, dan  Evaluasi.  Dari hasil pengujian kelayakan dengan total nilai 51,06 dan persentase 85% trainer mendapat kategori “SANGAT LAYAK” serta pengujian reliabilitas dengan nilai alpha 0,75 mendapat kategori “RELIABEL”. Hasil pengujian blackbox secara keseluruhan alat yang telah dirancang dapat dikatakan bekerja secara optimal sesuai dengan yang diharapkan sebagai alat praktikum. Modul pembelajaran dasar bahasa pemograman mudah dipahami dan telah disetujui oleh dosen pembimbing.

ResumoA crescente demanda de profissionais de Tecnologia da Informação em empresas, universidades e outras instituições é notória e, para tal, é necessária a formação de programadores para darem suporte à criação e manutenção de sistemas computacionais. O algoritmo, base para a criação dos softwares, pode ser ensinado de forma a facilitar o aprendizado dos estudantes, utilizando-se o Português Estruturado. Nesse sentido, foi realizada uma prática pedagógica, na qual se utilizou o Software VisuAlg como ferramenta auxiliar no ensino de algoritmos. O objetivo foi analisar as potencialidades do VisuAlg como recurso didático nas aulas de Algoritmos. A pesquisa, que é de cunho qualitativo, tem aproximações com estudo de caso. Os dados coletados foram analisados tendo como base a Análise Textual Discursiva. Os resultados encontrados apontam que: a) a utilização de diferentes técnicas e ferramentas auxiliou no ensino da lógica de programação, pois instigou os estudantes a experimentar e testar os algoritmos; b) a criação de algoritmos na Língua Portuguesa ajudou os estudantes a pensarem em sua lógica, não sendo necessário compreender comandos em inglês; c) a motivação dos estudantes aumentou, pois pode-se comprovar que os códigos criados estavam funcionando; d) o VisuAlg permitiu encontrar os erros nos códigos facilmente. Portanto, o Software VisuAlg pode ser considerado uma ferramenta que auxiliou no ensino da lógica de programação e estimulou o interesse dos estudantes da área de programação. AbstractThe growing demand for professionals of Information Technology (IT) in companies, universities and other institutions is notorious, and for that, it is necessary the programmers formation to creation support and computer systems maintenance. The algorithm, the basis for the software creation, can be taught in a way that facilitates the student’s learning, using Structured Portuguese. In this sense, a pedagogical practice was performed, in which VisuAlg Software was used as an auxiliary tool in the algorithms teaching. The objective was to analyze the VisuAlg potential as a didactic resource in the Algorithms classes. The research, which is qualitative, has approximations with case study. The collected data were analyzed based on the Discursive Textual Analysis. The results show that: a) the use of different techniques and tools helped in the teaching of programming logic, as it instigates students to experiment and test the algorithms; b) the algorithms creation in Portuguese Language helped students to think in their logic, not being necessary to understand commands in English; c) the students’ motivation increase, because it is possible to verify that the codes created are working, as well as the facility of being able to find the errors. Therefore, the use of tools that help teaching the programming logic, and stimulate the students’ interest in this area, is increasingly used by different teachers. Keywords: Didactic Resource. The Regional Revenue Management Agency of Kebumen Regency is a government agency that manages regional revenue in Kebumen Regency. The design of automatic curtains is expected to make it easier for office employees to use the facilities. This automatic curtain uses a flow chart and programming logic in designing programs for the light intensity of the IR sensor and the LDR sensor as an automatic curtain indicator using a remote. The design of the automatic curtain consists of an IR sensor and an LDR sensor as input, Arduino UNO as a processor, Relay as a component that transmits commands from the Arduino UNO to the motor, and motor as the output of this project. Automatic curtains at BAPEDA Kebumen can make it easier for employees to use office facilities to make them more durable, more comfortable, and more effective during working hours or on holidays because of the automatic curtain system that has been made.

ResumoEste artigo apresenta um estudo sobre a Lógica de Programação voltada para o contexto de ensino e aprendizagem por meio de uma revisão sistemática de literatura. Considerando que a tecnologia se faz presente em todas as atividades do cotidiano, torna-se cada vez mais evidenciada a necessidade de propiciar o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico, lógico e científico dos estudantes. Assim, busca-se identificar e analisar artigos científicos publicados nos últimos seis anos no repositório do Simpósio Brasileiro de Informática na Educação (SBIE). O método utilizado para coleta de dados, com definição de critério de inclusão e exclusão, permitiu a identificação de dezoito artigos que tratam de pesquisas sobre a Lógica da Programação nos três níveis de Educação do sistema brasileiro, ou seja, do Ensino Fundamental, Ensino Médio e Ensino Superior. O resultado da análise dos artigos mostra que tanto no Ensino Fundamental como no Ensino Médio há uma tendência em propiciar ao aluno vivenciar uma nova forma de aprender com o uso das tecnologias computacionais que permite explorar o pensamento lógico por meio de jogos e da atividade de programação, como o Scratch. No Ensino Superior existe a preocupação em utilizar as tecnologias para inovar as Metodologias de Ensino visando o engajamento do estudante. Nesse sentido, o destaque é dado nos ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem, os sistemas de tutores inteligentes e gamificação. Palavras-chave: Lógica de Programação. Scratch. Gamificação. AbstractThis article presents a study on Logic Programming in the teaching and learning context through a systematic literature review. Considering that technology is present in all the daily life activities, it becomes increasingly evident the need to foster the development of students’ critical, logical, and scientific thinking. Thus, it was sought to identify and analyze scientific articles published in the last six years in the repository of the Brazilian Symposium of Informatics in Education (Simpósio Brasileiro de Informática na Educação - SBIE). The method used for data collection, with the definition of inclusion and exclusion criteria, allowed the identification of 18 articles dealing with research on Programming Logic in the three levels of education of the Brazilian system, that is, elementary school, high school, and higher education. The result of the articles analysis shows that in both elementary and high school there is a tendency to provide students with a new way of learning through the use of computer technologies that allow them to explore logical thinking through games and through the Scratch programming activity. In higher education there is a concern in using technologies to innovate teaching methodologies, aiming at student engagement. Thus, the emphasis is on virtual learning environments, intelligent tutoring systems, and gamification. Keywords: Programming Logic. Scratch. Gamification.
