Abstract Background Epithelioid sarcoma most frequently occurs in the dermal or subcutaneous area of the distal extremities. To date, there have been three cases of primary pulmonary epithelioid sarcoma reported. We report a case of epithelioid sarcoma that is considered a primary lung tumor. Case presentation A 65-year-old asymptomatic Asian male patient underwent chest radiography during a routine health examination, and an abnormal mass was detected. His past medical history was unremarkable. He smoked 40 cigarettes every day and had slightly obstructive impairment on spirometry. He worked as an employee of a company and had no history of asbestos exposure. He underwent partial resection of the right lung by thoracoscopy. A histological examination of the tumor revealed a cellular nodule of epithelioid and spindle-shaped cells. Some of the tumor cells displayed rhabdoid features and reticular arrangement in a myxomatous stroma. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for vimentin, smooth muscle actin (SMA), CD34, and epithelial membrane antigen (EMA); loss of the BAF47/INI1 protein in the tumor cells was also confirmed. A diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma was established. Careful screening by whole-body positron emission tomography for another primary lesion after surgery did not detect any possible lesion. He had no cutaneous disease. Conclusion To our knowledge, this is the fourth case of a proximal-type epithelioid sarcoma considered as a primary lung tumor.

In Indonesia, currently they are still fighting the Corona / Covid 19 Virus, as well as in other countries. The number of cases affected by patients continues to grow. In several reports reported recovery, but not a few who died. Information dissemination aims to change people's attitudes, beliefs and behavior through providing information and raising awareness that a problem that arises can be overcome, especially in terms of preventing the transmission of Covid 19 through the selection and use of good and correct masks.Providing correct knowledge to the public can be done in various ways, one of which is by directly socializing the knowledge that will be given. This community service activity is carried out by extension methods, distributing information brochures, distributing masks and directly teaching the community how to use masks and choosing the right and good masks. After health education was carried out, the community understood and wanted to choose masks and use masks correctly. The public also understands the importance of taking preventive measures so as not to be infected or exposed to the Covid 19 virus.Health education activities should be carried out routinely by health workers in order to improve public health by changing people's life habits to be clean and healthy ones

This chapter presents an overview of health and human rights advocacy and describes a broad framework and the diverse strategies used by human rights advocates to advance their goals. Based upon documenting abuses, raising awareness, building coalitions, and engaging communities, human rights advocacy seeks to ensure that government laws, policies, and practices respect, protect, and fulfill the right to health of all. These rights arguments and advocacy strategies, first developed in response to the HIV epidemic, have become the basis for broader right to health campaigns. Health-related human rights advocacy, beyond specific strategies, seeks to elevate the voices of people affected by human rights violations, analyze structural barriers, and identify obligations and responsibilities. Focusing on the strategies and tools that human rights advocates use in documenting rights abuses, raising awareness, and seeking change, it is necessary to examine new advocacy partnerships and approaches for evaluating advocacy efforts.

The main problem of humans in the process of meeting their needs lies in their ability to improve a better standard of living. This problem is more rooted in human consciousness to encourage themselves to be more productive in living life. In the context of Islamic societies, the most effective way of encouraging them to improve their standard of living is by using religious argumentations, particularly the Qur'an. The Qur'an contains a set of rules that explain how a person can enhance his quality of life. By using the al-Farmawi thematic method and the hermeneutics of liberation, this study revealed that an improvement in work ethic is needed to improve a better standard of living. The enhancement of work ethic can be actualized when humans realize their self essences and the essence of God's creation. To gain the self essence is by raising awareness that God, through his generosity, has given each person livelihood since the beginning of creation. Humans' assignment is only to obtain the livelihood in the right ways. This belief makes them not to be ambitious in working while their self essences can awaken humans to be always proportional in their work and can understand the given rules. The basis of theological liberation in the Qur'an does not only take place in one broad social community but also in every individual through awareness of the meaning of various symbols given by God. This then can lead people to a more decent level of life applied to work productivity.

Health Impact Assessment (HIA) is increasingly applied in many developed countries as a tool for advancing healthy public policy. This research was carried out to obtain a HIA situation report for Nigeria and to assess ways of enhancing the use of HIA to promote healthy public policy. Semi structured questionnaires were administered both online and by hand to health and nonhealth professionals in Nigeria. Inferential statistics was used in the analysis of the 510 responses that were received. Only 29% of the respondents had ever heard about HIA; similarly, only 19.3% of those who were aware of HIA had received any form of HIA training. However, 93.2% of respondents were convinced that HIA would be beneficial to the Nigerian health system. Using the approach of SWOT Analysis to discuss the findings, this research concludes that the time has now come, and the right conditions are in place, for the integration of Health Impact Assessment into public policy in Nigeria. Raising awareness and political commitment are the two major strategies to help drive this agenda forward.

Primary epithelioid sarcoma (ES) of bone is extremely rare with only 2 reported cases in the English literature. A previously healthy 18-year-old man presented with a 6-month history of right facial numbness and tingling and right eye diplopia. A computerized tomography scan revealed an ill-defined mass with dense osseous matrix centered in the right zygomatic bone. An outside biopsy was read as osteosarcoma. The resection specimen revealed large epithelioid and spindle cells embedded in a prominent hyalinized matrix with focal metaplastic bone formation. The tumor cells were strongly and diffusely positive for AE1/AE3 and epithelial membrane antigen, but a definitive diagnosis of ES was not immediately reached due to the presence of dense hyalinized matrix and weak expression of SAT2B by tumor cells. Deficient INI1 protein expression by immunohistochemistry and homozygous loss of the SMARCB1 gene by chromosomal microarray analysis ultimately justified this tumor’s designation as ES.

Seven cases of an unusual low-grade vascular tumor were reported in a recent study. Despite its similarity to epithelioid sarcoma, this tumor was termed epithelioid sarcoma-like hemangioendothelioma because of the subtle histopathological and immunohistochemical differences. Another case of this rare entity in a 70-year-old woman who suffered from a painful mass on the anterior aspect of the right cubital fossa is presented here, together with a review of the relevant literature.

Practice demonstrates the importance of raising awareness about the problem of violence against children as well as the necessity of full protection of the right to privacy of minors as participants of criminal proceedings. Journalists must have special knowledge in order to report on criminal justice proceedings dealing with minors. On the other hand, authorized representatives of departments and institutions that participate in criminal justice protection of minors must be trained to present information to the media in a manner that would hinder its random interpretation in public information resources. Furthermore, the author insists on the practical obligation of the state to take systemic measures in suppressing and protecting minors from violations of their right to privacy and the consistent sanctioning of any violation of this right by representatives of the media, as well as by professionals authorized for protection of the right to privacy of minors.
