Based on a human-vehicle-road closed-loop system of vehicle steering parameter, road surface status, and driver manipulating information, the primary principle of fuzzy intelligent shift control of a tracked vehicle is proposed and the simulation model of a drivetrain is established to adapt the automatic transmission to the complex driving conditions of a tracked vehicle. Using the fuzzy control theory, an intelligent fuzzy shift control system composed of a basic fuzzy shift strategy and a fuzzy modification module is developed to improve the dynamic characteristics and cross-country manoeuvrability. The simulation result shows that the fuzzy shift strategy can improve the shift quality of a tracked vehicle under manifold driving conditions and avoid shift cycling effectively, therefore proving that the intelligent fuzzy shift strategies are better.

In order to improve the shift quality of automatic transmission with synchroniser, a synchroniser electrohydraulic control system equipped with the proportional pressure reducing valves is proposed. The principle of the control system is introduced in detail. The PID controller is used to realise closed-loop control of shift displacement to achieve the synchronisation. A numerical model and a test apparatus have built up to validated the control performance. The simulated and measured engagement and disengagement of the synchroniser with the proposed control system are investigated in detail. The results indicate that the shift displacement is controllable by changing the cylinder chamber pressure. The back pressure value is useful for a smooth synchroniser operation. It is determined by the sleeve motion and the throttle parameter. The back pressure affects little on the synchronisation stage during the engagement process. The proposed method can be used for the optimising design of the electrohydraulic system for the synchroniser control.

Estimation of the oil hydraulic pressure for the gear-shift elements can be useful for the development of closed-loop control of the automatic transmission fitted to a heavy off-highway vehicle for a good gear-shift quality, to reduce the dissipated energy and the vehicular shift jerk in complex working conditions. The unified dynamic model for a three-degree-of-freedom planetary automatic transmission is presented, and the power-on upshift from first gear to second gear is considered as an example. The unified model is more efficient than the conventional model for the dynamic analysis; furthermore, it provides a computational method for the inertia of the transmission when in gear. From a phased characteristic analysis, real-time estimation of the oil pressure for the gear-shift elements in the sliding process, i.e. the torque phase and the inertia phase, is addressed; then the improved control scheme for the power-on upshift from first gear to second gear is developed and validated using a heavy off-highway vehicle equipped with a high-power full-range speed-regulating diesel engine. The experimental results show that the model-based oil pressure estimation is able to reflect the dynamic characteristics of the system in changing conditions, and the corresponding control strategy can improve the gear-shift quality and the vehicular performance effectively.

Heavy dump vehicles are usually working with big load changes and bad work environment, thus change the friction performance of transmission clutches, as well as great affect the shift quality seriously, which influence the vehicle performance. Many researchers developed a lot to design a useful automatic transmission control system. Using PID tracking control and Monte Carlo method, the controller based on an dynamic model was set up to analyze the shifting process of automatic transmission and its robustness in this paper. The shift process was divided into four stages, low-gear phase, torque phase, inertia phase and high-gear phase. The model presents the process from the first gear to the second gear when the torque has big change.Since the jerk and the friction work of clutch are both related to the speed of clutch which was easier to control, it was chose as the target to control the oil pressure for satisfying the requirement of shift quality. The simulation software, Maplesim and Simulink, were used to build the vehicle model and shifting controller for simulation under different working conditions, and the maximum jerk was changed from 34 m/s3 to 12 m/s3 after the optimization. In this paper the Monte Carlo has been used to quantize and evaluate the robustness of the closed-loop system for the friction coefficients and output torque of turbine variation leading by the friction feature parameters and throttle angle changed. Monte Carlo method was used to analyze the effectiveness and robustness of PID controller, which proves that it has good control effect when the throttle is ongoing minor fluctuations. When the throttle is full opening, a quadratic optimal controller based on disturbance is designed by the method of multi-objective optimization. When it changes within 20 percent, PID controller was designed under the guidance of tracking thoughts. The results also show that the controller could still obtain better effect when the friction coefficient ranged from -40 % to 40 % as well as engine torque changed from -20 % to 20 %, which indicates the robustness of controller.

Background: The subcallosal artery (ScA) is a single dominant artery arising from the anterior communicating artery. Its injury causes amnesia and cognitive disturbance. The conventional computed tomographic angiography (C-CTA) is a common evaluation method of the intracranial artery. However, to image tinny perforating arteries such as the ScA is technically demanding for C-CTA. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the ultra-high-resolution CTA (UHR-CTA) could image the ScA better than C-CTA. UHR-CTA became available in clinical practice in 2017. Its novel features are the improvement of the detector system and a small X-ray focus. Methods: Between April 2019 and May 2020, 77 and 49 patients who underwent intracranial UHR-CTA and C-CTA, respectively, were enrolled in this study. Two board-certified neurosurgeons participated as observers to identify the ScA based on UHR-CTA and C-CTA images. Results: UHR-CTA and C-CTA detected the ScA in 56–58% and 30–40% of the patients, respectively. In visualization of the ScA, UHR-CTA was better than C-CTA (P < 0.05, Fisher’s exact test). Between the two observers, the Cohen’s kappa coefficient was 0.77 for UHR-CTA and 0.78 for C-CTA. Conclusions: UHR-CTA is a simple and accessible method to evaluate intracranial vasculature. Visualization of the ScA with UHR-CTA was better than that with C-CTA. The high quality of UHR-CTA could provide useful information in the neurosurgery field.

There are two major problems in the evaluation of the teaching quality of English writing: the weak logic of the evaluation system and the low reliability of the evaluation model. To solve the problems, this paper put forward an evaluation method for the teaching quality of English writing based on the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Firstly, the authors reviewed the current evaluation methods for the teaching quality of English writing. Next, hierarchical evaluation systems were established for the teaching quality of English writing from the perspectives of teachers and students, respectively. After that, the AHP method and the grey theory were introduced to set up an evaluation model for the teaching quality of English writing. Finally, several strategies were presented to improve the teaching quality of English writing. The proposed evaluation systems and model enriched the theories on teaching quality evaluation of English writing, and promoted the teaching quality of English writing.
